There are some very minor chips on the blue surface as shown in the last picture but the vase is overall is in great condition for being over 115 years old. This Wedgewood Jasperware vase box was found in an Antique Mall in North Texas as being brought to the wide world for sale on eBay. This box is an outstanding example of the ceramic arts by Wedgwood and in general for any time period and would make a great addition to any Wedgwood or ceramic collector especially if space is limited. I don't know how to describe how gorgeous this antique vase is! I just had it appraised and was told it is an antique vase by artist Kaufmann. Beleive her name is Angelica. I was told it was from the 1800-1875 circa. It is a victorian print but parts are handpainted. There is some number on bottom under glaze, hard to see. It has no chips or cracks. It measures 15 1/2" tall and 6 3/4 round. This belonged to my grandmother and was passed down to my mom and then to me. It is so so stunning with its 3 feet. The details are beyond words! KPM Berlin 1800-1809 topographical trophy vase of Salzbrunn Germany 8.75" Museum
I have for auction this evening a very rare museum quality piece in need of some minor restoration but in great condition given its history and 200 plus years of existence. This gorgeous piece is in the style of a bolted trophy vase with pillared base and flared rim. The piece features a fully and magnificently masterful hand painted scene of Salzbrunn Germany a watering-place of Germany. In the Prussian province of Silesia, at the foot of a well-wooded spur of the Riesengebirge. This scene appears to be of the town center as it was in the late 18th to very early 19th centuries when this piece was created. It appears to be quite a bustling place with so many people and carts and is known to have produced some of the finest porcelain products of its time and its springs were said to have curative value. Besides the gorgeous scene which is ... morein untouched condition the piece is heavily gilded in gold including a thick border around the painting as well a on the handles and base and rim. There is also a chased gold design to the reverse and below the painting. The piece is bolted and well marked. I have found no signature of this artist yet but it is not uncommon for these to be unsigned. Item dimensions and dating: All measurements are approximate. This piece stands around 8.75" tall and has a rim diameter of 6" and a base diameter of 3.5" square. This piece bares the date stamp from 1800-1809 by my research. Condition report: This piece is in overall antique excellent condition with the central painting being virtually untouched by the hands of time and most of the gold gilt design especially the chased decoration is in excellent order. The handles and base and rim need re-gilded and the frame gold work around the painting needs touching up so an excellent gilder will have a little work to do after purchase if desired. ANTIQUE 1800'S MAJOLICA DUCK WITH LOGS & POND SPILL VASE & MATCH HOLDER STRIKER
Antique Majolica Duck& A Pond Spill Vase Match Holder/Striker. Vase measures approx. 14 cm long. 13 cm wide with a height of around 11 cm. Base has number 6154& further handwriting in what looks like lead pencil- also there is a mark shaped a little like a xmas tree in shiny glaze- a further impressed mark can be seen by'scuff' mark(almost obscured) which happened when unfired clay contacted surface when it was made. Brightly colored shiny glaze contrasts beautifully with the pale blue interiors of the match& spill vases& pink spent match well. Looks like the similar glazes used by well known potteries. I will throw out a couple of names.Delphin Massier& Minton who used similar colorations to this.if u know.I sure would appreciate the knowledge. Vase has damages. 3 around pond edge- major one is the obvious one ... moreseen in photos- there are nibbles& nips in glaze around base some factory, others from use- duck has rough edge around tip of tail- there is a firing crack under base. GERMAN - HAND PAINTED - VASE - Late 1800's - Possibily Goedewaagen
This is a very old. Antique VASE. It has been in my family since the late 1800's or very early 1900's. It was my Grandmother's who lived her whole life in East Texas. Now. I had two people look at it, appraise it, with two opinions. One said Goedewaagen, hand painted, proper time period. The other said German, hand painted, proper time period. To me it looks more German but. It is in great condtion. The gold, gilt paint is worn on the feet and handles as the picture shows. It measures appx. 9" tall X appx. 6 1/2" wide. The front image is of three little girls playing on the beach, being menenced by a crab. The back image is a beautiful butterfly and flowers. I am starting it at well below what I was told the worth of it was. I want it to go to a good home.

This antique bowl/vase of porcelain bisque pate sur pate measures 4" high and 4" wide. It is in excellent condition. Green and white jasper type. Marked on the base 2171(I think, it is hard to decipher) The most charming and distinct porcelain decoration of the nineteenth century' is how pate-sur-pate was described by the ceramist Willaim Burton in 1902. Its cameo-like effect was achieved by applying successive layers of thin slip in delicate gradations and by fine carving with modelling-tools. Finished off with a brush. The process. Which was time consuming, was first tried at the Imperial manufactory of Sevres about 1849. Some examples were shown at the Great Exhibition in London in 1852 and quickly attracted attention. The technique remained a French monopoly until the Franco-Prussian War of 1870 when work at Sevres was brought ... moreto a stop. And one of the manufactory's best artists, Marc Louis Solon, came to England to work for Minton's.This is the first and only comprehensive survey of the technique of pate-sur-pate in Europe and America. 1800- 1920 ANTIQUE OLD PARIS PORCELAIN SPILL VASE THIS IS BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE VASE HAS A LUSTRE WHICH MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO PHOTOGRAPH DUE TO IT REFELCTING TOO MUCH LIGHT BACK AT THE CAMERA. I TOOK THE LAST TWO PHOTO'S INSIDE SO THERE WAS LESS GLARE. It's white vase with a hand painted blue ribbon entwined with a floral garland. The front has soft yellow lustre on the wreath in relief and pink lustre floral petals on each side of the vase. There used to be gold gilt around the flower on the bottom of the vase that has worn off mostly. These vases were made from two molds joined together at the sides. Made in the late 1800's to early 1900's. They sat on the fire mantelpiece and held twisted pieces of tightly twisted paper which were used as tapers. The tapers were lit from the fire and then used to light candles and oil lamps ... morethroughout the room. There were many ornate designs from the simple to spectacular. Made in Germany sometime between 1850 and 1899. The body is hand painted with a Dresden Pattern. There is a large polychrome floral spray on one side and a small sprig on the other. The pieces stand 6-1/2" high with a width of 5" the diameter of the base is 3-1/2" The base is marked with the Blue Crossed Swords. Both vases are in very good pre-owned condition, there is some usage wearing on the edges of each base, light handling wear to the gilt rim edging in various spots and a very small chip on the bottom edge just beneath the gilt rim. 1800's Porcelain Egg Vase with Cherub Unique Antique
This Antique Porcelain Egg with Cherub is a small table vase. It stand 3 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" at its widest point. My research makes me wonder if it is a Sitzendorf piece. This piece belonged to my grandmother. So it is an antique. It is in wonderful condition considering its age, almost perfect condition. Upon close inspection, there is no damage, no cracks, only one tiny piece is missing in the cherubs hand. It is hardly noticeable. With all the tulips on this piece, not a single one is broken. Astonishing. Perfect for the collector.

As it is marked only with the numbers"3186" We believe it to be of German origin from the early to mid 1800's. This beautiful large majolica vase features white and green flowers and leaves on a deep cobalt blue background on three sides. The three scrolled feet are beautifully decorated. The top rim has a band of white and green flowers on a blue stippled background. It measures almost 15.5 inches tall. About 10 inches wide and 29 inches in circumference. It is in excellent antique condition with a few glaze skips and glaze crazing mostly on the inside which is normal and expected with antique majolica. Antique Flower Vase (Likely from late 1800's to early 1900's) - Ceramic & Porcel
VERY old vase- dating back to the late 1800's- 1900's. There are no markings on the bottom of of the vase other than a note from my grand mother stating that it belonged to HER grandmother. The vase does show some signs of age. It appears that it used to have handles that have been broken and filed down. Also. The top of the vase has been glued back together(see photo) The pattern painted on the vase is grapes. One side is much more yellow while the reverse is very purple. Great addition to any collection and plenty of charm!

These vases are the 19th century French Samson Baluster Pair with narrow necks and domed covers with gold gilt knops. The hexagon shape vase bodies swirl from shoulders to a slightly flaring base with hidden foot ring. The covers and bodies are decorated in the 18th century Chinese Export Armorial porcelain style with Fleur de Lys Crest. Flower baskets, large blooms and flowering tree branches, all hand painted in over-the-glaze enamels. The borders of the covers and the bodies are over-the-glaze blue enamel covered ... moreby gold curves and inverted ruyi shapes. No chip, crack, hairline, or restoration. Minor wear to some enamels or gold gilt. Each vase measures about 16" in height and 7" across at the widest. The history around these vases is well documented: The finely painted crest/armorial in over-the-glaze enamels is the Royal arms of France encircled by the Collars of the Orders of Saint-Michel and Saint-Esprit. Around 1720. The original service, made by Chinese during Kangxi period, was ordered for Louis XV(1710-74) possibly through his Regent, Philippe d'Orléans, who owned a similar service with his own arms. Rare Antique 1800'S Vase With Decorative Grape Accents
First off let me say I'm a bottle guy and know nothing about vases. The beauty of digging bottles is you never know what your going to dig up. This vase was dug from a civil war era trash pit. It measures 9 inches tall. It has only been cleaned with warm clear water. It has no cracks in the body of the vase and holds water fine. It does have some damage around the top as shown in the photos and there are grapes and leaves that have been broken off along its 140 plus year journey through time. It may even be worthy of a restoration. I'm starting the auction low and including free priority shipping. ORIGINAL FAIENCE VASE Pre-1800 TERRACOTTA BODY SAVONA ITALY
This is a very nice Decorative Savona Faience Vase made in Savona Italy in the 18th Century. Faience is a pottery technique where a terracotta body is covered by a glaze which includes tin oxide to give an opaque white ground. This technique was used to imitate Chinese porcelain before the secret of the method of making porcelain was discovered. It is of baluster form with flared neck. Mythical beast handles and domed foot painted in blue with buildings in landscape within leaf borders, painted marks. This piece has some chips(please see pictures) There is minor chips around the bottom rim, mythical beast, and at the base, but is not major and is fair based on the age of the piece. It measures 6 inches and the glaze in still in very nice condition. The piece was appraised by Value My Stuff for $300-$400 and the appraisal will accompany the ... morepiece when sold. Majolica Rare Leaf Green Glazed Vase Center Peice Late 1800's. M ade of a white clay such as porcelain or a white ware. Piece of salt fired ware. Or wood fired ware.It could also be from an Ohio,New England pottery from the north east area.A nice Vase and shows some good craftsmanship. There is some flame and ash marks on both the rim and foot of the Vase that indicate it was fired in a kiln with an atmosphere that was not gas.
