There is some crazing, but that is to be expected on a piece of this vintage nature. In the pictures you will see a sticker that was attached to the bottom with Russian writing. That has since been removed to check to see if there was a hallmark under it. The exact date and origin of this piece are unknown and it was found in a storage locker. The decoration is a woman with a winged hat. I was told years ago that it was attributed to Louis Solon. There is a spider to the base and hairline to the lid as you can see from the photo. When it was appraised years ago I was told that this does not detract from its value or rarity. The hairlines can not be seen through the decoration. It wiped up rather nicely but does have something on each end of the basket. Pair of Lady Head Vases Sonsco (green) and Inarco (black-1961)
Up for bidding is a pair of lady head vases both in excellent condition. The black one is labeled Inarco 1961. The green is labeled Sonsco Japan. Both of these have a bit of minor crazing as you would expect on just about any of these you would find due to age. Both of them are well-cared for and look great. The black vase is missing one earring as pictured but I have included a pair of replacement earrings which were made especially for this vase so all you have to do is attach the earring with an adhesive without having to bother with ordering a replacement. Both vases are approximately 4 3/4 inches tall(measured from front) I have decided to sell them as a lot of 2 for quick sale and the two together at this price are a great deal! Thanks for looking!

ANTIQUE FRENCH OLD PARIS PORCELAIN VASE/ LAMP with BISQUE FIGURE IN RELIEF You are being offered a Stunning Vieux Paris or Old Paris Porcelain Vase that has been made into a Lamp. The Vase appears to have a Celeste Bleu Ground and a White Base and Trim with remnants of Gilt on the Trim. And there is a Molded and Gilded Reserve on its Front containing a Bisque Porcelain Figure in Relief of a Half-Man holding a Bird. We did not remove the Green Felt covering its Bottom to see if the Vase is signed or if it has any identifying marks; but we believe the Whiteware was made by Sevres or one of the better Porcelain Factories in Limoges and Hand Painted in one of the small Decorating Studios in Paris during the 19th Century, circa 1820-1870. The Vase stands 13½ inches high and measures 10½ inches long and 6½ inches wide and the Lamp ... morestands 24½ inches high to the Top of its Light Socket and 29¼ inches high to the Top of its Removable and Interchangeable Harp where its Lampshade and Finial attach. It looks like much of the Vase’s Trim was originally Gilded, but most of it has been rubbed off and some of the Gilding on the Reserve behind the Bisque Figure is also worn off. There also is a Glaze Contraction on the Back of the Vase and another is Inside the Vase, and there is a small flake chip on the Trim on its Left(your Right) Side. Otherwise, the Vase is in Very Good Condition, without any other chips, cracks, scratches or defects and the Lamp, which was Very Well Constructed with Custom Made White Metal Parts, works just fine. Vase Japanese Yellow And Decorative Red Purse
Two items are up for auction here with an Asian flair. I'm not sure the manufactures location of these two items but they are in very nice condition. The yellow vase/planter measures 4x6x2 inches. and has no chips on it. It is a crackle design with yellow paint over it. There's no markings on the bottom. The red purse has some kind of animal design on it. Might be a dragon. There's two compartments and the zippers work nice. The strap measures two feet and and the purse is 6x8 inches. Vintage PZH Gouda Art Pottery Vase Damascus Pattern Unique Design c 1915
Here is a wonderful example of an early matte-finish Gouda Vase in the Damascus Pattern. During the earliest years only the series name"Damascus" and sometimes the place name. Holland is all that was marked on the base. The earliest Damascus and Rhodian decors were considered so radical at the time. They did not carry the PZH markings. The company did not want customers to know they had produced them. By the mid-teens. Company identification began to be noted. So you could now see a painted mold number which would repeat the incised number. The pottery produced between 1905 and 1918 did not have a date mark. This piece is not dated and I believe it would be from sometime between 1915- 1920. The markings include the PHZ logo(the little house) The pattern name. Damascus, Holland and the letters A.P. which I believe are the artist's ... moreinitials) also the incised number 066 which is repeated in the paint mark 066. There is also a name on the rim of the base which looks to be written in pencil or charcoal, which I cannot quite make out, I believe it may say Walter.I don't know if this might be the artist or perhaps the original owner of the piece. It is an interesting piece due to both it's wonderful Arts& Crafts coloring and design. Even the shape is quite unique with the very small handles at the top. The colors are a drab green shade at the base with indigo blue and a medium brown and a mustard yellow, there is also a pale green and it is all outlined in black. The patterning on the bottom reminds me of an Early Egyptian motif. It measures 8 inches in height and 4 3/4 inches at its widest on the base. It is quite heavy for its size weighing just over two pounds. Condition: It is in very good condition. There is one area shown in the last photo where the yellow paint appears to have slipped. This is a lovely piece to add to your Gouda Art Pottery Collection. Shipping is free to the US and within Canada. But Canadian buyers must pay applicable taxes. Beautiful Hand Painted Handmade Signed Italian Vase. I am not sure of the signature(see picture) M. Moratto? The bottom of the vase reads MADE IN ITALY HAND MADE HAND- PAINTED With a sticker that reads CERAMICHE ARTISTICHE*3M* Via Gaidon. 43 TERMINE Bassano There are small unnoticeable hairline cracks in the back of the vase(see picture) so I never tried to use it to hold water. Lovely pink and green floral design on a creamy white ivory background makes this a lovely decorative piece. It is fragile. So I recommend adding insurance to purchase price. Early 20th Century A tall vase of a gracefully tapering form decorated with a sanguine palette hand painted central medallion depicting a serene landscape. Enclosed with rococo style gilt scroll framework all over powder blue ground. White neck of the vase is separated from the powder blue section by raised gilt wreath band.
