Vintage Handmade Hand Quilted Blue Flower Basket Feedsack Full Cotton Quilt Description. Vintage hand made flower basket quilt. All cotton fabrics in solids and prints. I believe feedsacks as well but am no expert and will let you be the judge. Striping in blue with red squares. It is all hand quilted. Backed in a wonderful cotton fabric in white. Navy blue and red with birds leaves and geometric medallion designs. It is a medium or heavy weight winter quilt. The quilt top is in excellent condition, I noticed just a couple of small faint spots. The back has some repairs around the edge. The repairs are machine stitched and it looks as though it was done before the back was put on. The edge stitching was not undone anywhere and the machine repair stitching does not go threw to the front. There are also a a few small holes just started around ... morethe edge. Vintage Handmade Patch Work Quilt
I don't know much about quilts. But this is one I found in my aunts attic. I was told this might be from the 20s or 30s? It seems to be in ok condition for its age. There is some fraying on some of the squares. Its like the cloth is gone? On the edges there is fraying also. I tried to show as much of it in the pictures as I could. This is a really beautiful quilt I would think 30's. 40's or 50's. Floral pattern with a blue scalloped border. I believe it is all hand stitched. It measures approximately 90 X 77. Antique/Vintage Grandmothers Flower Garden Hand Stitched Handmade 82"x80" Quilt
Up fo r auction is this wonderful Vintage/Antique hand stitched/handmade quilt. The quilt is done in the grandmother’s flower garden pattern. It measures 82” by 80” The quilt is in good shape for its age. It does have some wear to the edges that could be rebound and three flower octagon blocks have some wear/damage. The backside is all white. It has a few dark browning spots. Some yellowing at one edge and one small hole that does not go through to the front. I did not try to clean or treat the quilt so the spots might be able to be taken out. This is a super nice quilt and very old. It is fresh from a local estate. Up for auction is a very old. Very interesting handmade doll quilt. The more I look at the fabric pieces, the more I love this quilt! The pattern is traditional, but the fabric pieces are quite special. I’ve taken a lot of photos so you can see for yourself. This cheerful quilt is trimmed in a tiny pink polka dot edging. This lovely doll quilt came from an old country farmhouse in the Northeast and has been stored for many years in a pet-free, smoke-free home. Condition: Very good condition for its age. Up for auction is a very old doll quilt made of flannel or flannelette. I can just picture a mother fashioning this 14 ½ X 20 inch quilt for her little girl’s doll out of left-over flannel. One side is one whole piece of fabric and the other side is pieced in 5 sections. It is hand tied with coral colored floss. I have taken pictures indoors and out. In natural light to try to give you a true color. The background is gray with a cream print, which actually looks more ecru than cream. There are some age"shadows" more than spots, which some people say gives age character) but they are not pronounced as the print is more of an ecru color than what shows in the photos. VINTAGE/ANTIQUE RED WHITE & BLUE PATCHWORK QUILT- 62"x80" - HANDMADE in MISSOURI
This is an auction for a VINTAGE/ANTIQUE RED WHITE& BLUE PATCHWORK QUILT- 62"x80" HANDMADE in MISSOURI. The majority of the 3 1/2" finished blocks are made of vintage cotton fabrics mainly red. White, blue in color- but there are a few blocks of greens, yellows. browns also in the quilt. The backing& edging are done in white cotton and the filling appears to be a white flannel(lightweight) The quilt is EXTREMELY OLD. Although I do not know the exact date of when it was made. It was my grandmother-in-law's quilt and she was born in 1901. My husband remembers her having this quilt& just knows that it something that she made. And obviously lovingly used. She lived her entire life in the"Lead Belt" area of the state of Missouri, south of St. Louis. This quilt is completely hand quilted. But finished in ... morea machine stitched binding. The quilt is NOT IN PERFECT CONDITION. There are some stains. Some tears& rips, some missing binding on the edges. The back side is not in as good of condition as the front side. As some of the back fabric is well- worn and has deteriorated. I'm guessing that is why there appears to be an 8 1/2" binding( on one end of the quilt- maybe to reinforce the back side where the fabric was damaged. But why she would also put it across the front side I don't understand. Maybe it was meant to designate the head of the bed where the pillows were to lie on top. I'm not sure- the quilt blocks underneath that strip do not appear to be damaged. A mystery that will never be solved, as Grandma died years ago, before I had the quilt and could ask questions from her. There are no musty smells and it has always been in pet-free. Smoke-free homes. Check the pictures carefully to see where I have tried to picture some of the damages. I have not made any attempt to repair or clean it. Vintage Amish Handmade LONE STAR Quilt ~ 88" x 91" ~Folder ~Cutter?
Vintage Amish Handmade Lone Star Quilt Cutter- Folder ~ Front Porch Worthy! If you like the shabby- country look. this quilt may be for you! We have a soft antique LONE STAR QUILT purchased years ago from an Amish estate sale. This striking quilt does show some signs of wear and a bit of deterioration. So we are classifying it as a cutter or folder quilt. There are no holes or missing fabric; but it's not perfect. It is hand-quilted and machine stitched around the quilt perimiter and boats a nice combination of old fabrics which are probably from the 1930's- 40's. The batting is thin and there is outling quilting and straight line quilting throughout the quilt at about 7 stitches per inch. It measures about 88" x 91" The edges of this binding are frayed in places. But could easily be replaced if this is of concern to ... moreyou. There is also a section along the edge where some of the cross-hatch stitching has deteriorated a bit. In addition, there is some yellowing of the creamy white fabric, but a nice bath should brighten this quilt right up. I've taken LOTS of photos. please ENJOY and bid accordingly. I've used this quilt as a display piece; however. It would also look nice folded at the end of the bed- or a cutter if you so choose. Up for auction is a vintage hand stitched quilt that measures a large 86" x 68" The four colorful stars are made of red. Orange and beige cotton pieces. I have shown in the pictures that the beige fabric is the part of the quilt that is torn. You can also see that the edge of the quilt have major wear. The overall background is white(off white) and the back of the quilt is also a white(off white) cotton fabric which is good condition. There are one or two small spots on the front. It is in very good condition. With no stain or holes on the top or the bottom. But it has been used and washed, no doubt, only that the previous owner took good care of it. For auction is a Vintage old feedsack quilt dating back to at least 1930s. It is in great condition. Just saw a few faded very faded old spots which are only seen in direct sunlight. This has appliqued 8 point stars and feedsacks were used to make the top of the quilt and the appliques were sewn on over them. You can see the printing of the feedsacks which were turned over to make the quilt top all over the quilt. I got this quilt at an estate sale probably 30 years ago. I was told this was made during the 30s when material was hard to find and scraps were used to make warm quilts for the winters. There is no fraying on the edging that I can see. This old quilt is still in great useable condition. The back of the quilt is feedsack also and it was yarn tied. I really don't think it was used much, but it has been used. Vintage Handmade Appliqued Embroidered Childs Nursery Tied Quilt 34" x 46"
Sweet vintage child's quilt features 13 appliqued bunnies with hand embroidered details. One bunny is hand appliqued. The rest are machine appliqued. Tied with yellow, blue and pink yarn. The bunny blocks are about 9 inches tall and 7.5 inches wide, they are set with pink rectangles 9 x 5" measurements vary slightly within the quilt. There is a brownish beige stain in the upper left hand corner that goes thru all the layers. This quilt has some wear and fading but is still in very good shape for the age.

This beauty measures approx. 64" x 88" Each block measures 10 1/2" x 11 12" The quilt has 20 Sunbonnet Sue blocks total. Each'Sue' was worked in a different color. Lots of pretty colors. This lovely old Cotton quilt has been well loved and cared for with no rips. Tears or fraying. There are a few little marks that I have not tried to remove leaving that to the new owner(see photo) White background with light pink. Dusty rose, royal blue and leaf green hand pieced together. The quilt measurements are 73 inches by 84 inches. There are roughly 6 stitches per inch. I'm not sure of the age but was told it was from the late 40's or early 50's. This is a beautiful handmade quilt in red and white cotton. The pieces are machine stitched and yarn has been pulled through to tie. The back is a very pretty raised daisy design also in cotton. There are no rips or worn spots. Material is in great condition. I tried to take a photo of every spot I could find, some are very small and didn't show up too well. This quilt has not been laundered so the spots may come out. Also, the photo shows a bright red, it is a bright red bud not as florescent as the photo, the white is very white. You are bidding on a handmade vintage used appliqued baby quilt/ crib cover in the Sun Bonnet Sue pattern. The quilt measures 63 X 42 inches. The dolls are made of pastel colored prints and the applique stitching is in very good condition. The quilt pieces were put together with a white muslin material and hand stitched quilting with white thread. There are a few stains and small cuts in the muslin which I have tried to show in the pictures. I would judge this collectible item to be in very good condition for the age and considering it was used. This was my baby quilt. It is 68 years old and has been in storage for many. Many, years. It has an interesting collection of small prints in the color fabrics shown on pictures. The toning is quilt attractive and lends itself to a nice attractive antiqued color. The fabrics used are all 100% Cotton. The overall size is 76 x 78" inches. Nicely hand quilted at 6-7 stitches per inch The cotton batting is a thicker light weight smooth and evenly distributed. The quilt does have some light binding wear on some edges. I see some applique undone and need to be sewn very easy to fix. The quilt is reversible and on the other side has lots of tiny squares and has one tiny hole with a brown stain shown on last picture. This vintage quilt is in great condition. It looks like it was one of those that was made and not used very often. I have looked over the quilt and found a couple of very faint smaller stains but no fraying of the material. The back is a solid white material except it has St. Margarets Hospital stamped on it(see picture) There is a slight musty odor. I have not cleaned it. BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE HANDMADE PATCHWORK QUILT VERY HEAVY & WARM PINWHEEL PATTERN
This is a very pretty vintage quilt. It is very heavy and warm. It has two different patterns. One on either side as shown in pics 1 and 2. I have shown the edging in my last pic. The pattern looks like a pinwheel. It measures 74 inches by 83 inches. It weighs 8 pounds alone. I believe it is made of cotton and wool and other household fabrics that were on hand. I looked it over best I could and I found 8 problem blocks on one side and 6 problem blocks on the other side with some wear. Please see photos to show the wear. So this quilt IS NOT IN PERFECT CONDITION AND I AM SELLING IT AS IS. I will always combine shipping whenever possible to make sure you spend the least amount. I use the least expensive way of shipping I can which is usually the slowest method. Antique/Vintage Handmade Rose Garden Applique Quilt
A great deal of craftsmanship went into this hand stitched Applique Quilt. It is entirely hand sewn. This quilt measures app. 66" wide by 78" long. Every single piece of the quilt looks like beautiful work of art. The colors include various shades of pink. Green and red. The stitching is white. It is from a nonsmoking home. This quilt is very old but in good condition for it age. The colors of this quilt are still vibrant but there are some dirt spots on this quilt and there are some parts of the border that are frayed.
