Hundreds& hundres of these prints ~ all pieced completely by hand. The quilt measures 86" x 70" the perfect size for hanging! 100% cotton with a medium weight cotton batting. The quilt is in great condition; it's been well-cared for through the years. It's crisp& clean, odor-free. There are no rips, tears or holes, no fraying. This is a beautiful hand stitched vintage quilt in a double wedding ring pattern. The edges are scalloped and the back has a couple of thinned tears shown in the pictures. The colors are fantastic. Especially for this time of year! It measures 85 x 72 inches. The applied pattern appears to be from old feed sacks. Although beautiful, the pattern hides it's imperfections which are multiple frayed areas to some of the feed sack fabric. I took some pictures to show a close up example even though as a whole it displays very nicely. I know very little about antique quilts and am learning as I go. Vintage Double Wedding Ring Quilt finely Hand Quilty Shabby Condition Cutter
This quilt has seen better days. It is fraying around the edges and there are some large stains which may or may not come out. I have not tried any stain removal and will leave that up to the buyer. It has great feed sack fabric. But is worn through in some places. The backing is solid purple. The edges are scalloped. The hand quilting is quite fine, tiny stitches. Up for Auction is a Beautiful Antique Hand Stitched Double Wedding Ring Quilt.This belongs to my Aunt.She is in her 90's and collected antiques for many yrs.I will describe this the best I can,I do believe that this was made from Feedsacks.It is approx.80"by 84" in size,there is a slight scallop border.I do not see any tears or rips,I do see two small stains which I took a pitcture of and some threads that have frayed around the edge.This has been used and washed through the yrs.it is so soft and cudly the best Quilt to get under on a cold night.The back material is a pale yellow and the top of the quilt is a antique white.I am not sure of the age.This comes from a smoke free home and it has been stored away for many yrs.No odors,nice and clean.I am not real familiar with Quilts so please let the pictures speak for themselves.If ... moreanyone has any information for me to add about the age or material, please let me know and I will add it to my write up.

Antique Vintage Hand Quilted Double Wedding Ring Quilt
Old well loved double wedding ring quilt is approximately 82" by 76" There is one particular fabric that has shredded. I think there are about 4 or 5 of them. Please see pics. Antique Quilt Double Wedding Ring Design 1920's Hand Quilted Large 97" x 87"
This Double Wedding Ring design Quilt is hand sewn and hand quilted and dates from the 1920's. Exact origin unknown. It belonged to the seller's aunt until her death in 1985 and has been stored as a part of the seller's personal quilt collection ever since. Excellent condition for it's age. Lovely variety of printed cotton pieces. Scalloped edge. Intricate hand quilting is best observed on the back side. Perfectly symmetrical in shape. There are some flaws(all shown in the photos) two spots, one large one which is visible through the front and back; two tears in the backing; four pieces whose fabric has worn off so the thin cotton stuffing shows through; very slight wear at the egdge; some slight yellowing in places. Gently used vintage condition with a very few places of wear(see finger pointing to examples) It has many many different fabrics that were used to make it. The background color and the quilt back are white. It is from a smoke free and pet free environment. I don't know how old it is.

The back is totally white. There were many undone stitches when I got this. I have fixed all of them that I can find.although when I was taking the pictures I found 3 that I had missed and will fix.so there may be one or two even though I will think I got them all! Also. It looks as if someone spilled either some bleach or harsh detergent in spots(see last 4 pictures) It has that lovely softly worn feel and softly faded look that gives it that lovely shabby chic look, perfect for your cottage or front porch on cooler spring days. Antique Feedsack DOUBLE WEDDING RING Quilt Top, All Cotton
CHERISH EACH DAY& ALL WILL BE OK This vintage Wedding Ring quilt top is probably from the 1930's. has a wonderful assortment of feedsack fabrics. It measures 70" by 84" to the edges, has a clean, almost white background fabric. Quarter sections are shown, to see the fabrics better. It looks like all cotton to me. The arches were hand sewn to the white fabric at 5-8 spi. The rest was machine sewn, so most was done by machine& there is some pucker. There are red& green print fabrics at the intersections. It has been washed& lays flat, except for the pucker. There is one light pea sized stain, with no other flaws seen, but there could be something small missed. There are no odors. VINTAGE 1930'S-1950'S "SCRAPPY" FEED/FLOUR SACK DOUBLE WEDDING RING QUILT TOP
For your consideration is this vintage 1930's- 1950's Double Wedding Ring pattern. Hand pieced quilt top from southern Missouri. It measures approximately 66" wide x 76" long. This wonderfully scrappy quilt top is put together with many varieties of colors and patterns of feed sacks, flour/sugar sacks, and other vintage fabrics. The top is skillfully and beautifully hand pieced. With approximately 7-9 stitches per inch. Although the main blocks measure about 10 1/2" the very tiny ring pieces are only 1" x 1 1/2" The setting blocks are plain. White cotton. It is in very good condition. However. It was washed at one time, and the 1/4" seam allowances do have some fraying. But it is minor, as you should be able to see in the close-up photo, and I believe there is still plenty left to work with if quilted. ... moreThe white filler blocks on the edges around the top appear to have more fraying and I think may have to be stabilized. The top also has some storage spots sprinkled around in a few areas. Which is probably why it was washed. But they are very light and should come out if it is very gently soaked with Oxy Clean and hand washed. However. I don't believe they detract from beauty of the top. Also. There are a few mends and patches in the white filler pieces, but they appear to be old and I believe were done by the quilter. In those days, the women used what they had on hand, and I think they give the top more character. Hopefully, you can see the very tiny hand stitches in the photos. Please keep in mind that this is a vintage item.it is not like new. I try to inspect and describe my items as carefully as possible. Q6 BEAUTIFUL! Green Double Wedding Ring Quilt 80" x 92" Queen Size Hand Stitched
Description Antique Double Wedding Ring Quilt This is a GORGEOUS double wedding ring quilt that measures 80" x 92" Queen sized. This quilt is interesting, being mostly hand pieced with the exception of a few very small area's that are machine quilted, the stitches are just too even. The fabric used leads me to believe this was made in the 30's or 40's. All cotton fabrics including feed sack prints and calico's. The hand quilting is approximately 7-8 stitches per inch. The back is a solid green cotton with hand stitched green binding. The batting is a medium weight. Antique Quilt, Double Wedding Ring pattern, hand-stitched
My family is Pennsylvania Dutch and this quilt has been in our family for many generations. Treated gently with love and is excellent condition. The motif of two interlocking rings goes as far back as the fourth century when it was used to decorate Roman cups. These cups were made of glass decorated with connecting mental rings. Another early example of interlocking rings is found in the gimmal ring. These rings were popular in Europe in the 15th and 16th centuries. They consisted of rings that could be interlocked. During the engagement one was worn by the man and the other by the women. When they married the two rings were fitted together to be worn by the wife. It is thought this style of ring came to America through Germanic people who settled in Pennsylvania in the late 17th century. Vintage Green Double Wedding Ring Salt L.G.Wright
The"Wedding Ring Pattern" aka"Double Wedding Ring" which is an old quilting pattern several hundred years old. This was probably produced by Dalzell for Viking and L.G.Wright glass companies. All items made in this pattern are found only in crystal until 1880-90 when iridized pieces were made. Colored/Depression glass became more common in the 1920's when it could be mass produced by machines from molds. However. This piece is from the 1970's when many old molds were used to reproduce"Old Stuff" This salt measures 1 5/8"H and is 2 1?4"D and is in perfect condition. No chips. Cracks breaks or repairs. Antique EAPG Heavy Milk/Water Pitcher - Double Wedding Ring & Fan Diamond Cut
Amazing Flint Glass EAPG Milk or Water Pitcher Beautiful very heavy antique pitcher is about 7" tall& measures about 8" from spout to handle. The glow under a blacklight is an amazing yellow-green color. Along the top edge is a scalloped sawtooth pattern with double wedding rings underneath. Under the rings are fans and cut diamond patterns. The inside edges of the handle have a ribbed texture and the bottom has a fancy cross& starburst design. Now for the bad news. it has two very small chipped areas. One is on the base opposite the handle(see photo 8) and it measures less than 1/8" The other is a tiny 1/16" chip on the side that would face you if the handle is to the right(see photo 9) Neither is obvious to the eye but you can feel them. We have a"Double Wedding Ring" Quilt and a"Tree of Life" Quilt. The romantic Double Wedding Quilt(c. 1930s-1940s) is created with a colorful variety of printed and solid cotton fabrics. Scalloped edges, and has white backing. The earliest published example of the"Double Wedding Ring" quilt is a pattern in the October 20 1928 edition of Cappers Weekly which credited it to Mrs. J.D. Patterson of Wellington Kansas. The"Tree of Life" Quilt(c. 1940s-1950s) featuring hand pieced trees with appliqued branches and pointed roots are beautifully executed in floral printed fabrics on white blocks, on a pale yellow background, with white ... morebacking. The"Tree of Life" pattern is said to indicate belief in eternal life. This pattern is traced back to early settlers of the New World who were inspired by the"Tree of Life" design that was common to oriental rugs and converted to a quilt pattern. The favored fabric for these old quilts was a calico in green tones with a darker green or brown fabric for the trunk. While the foliage was always a patterned fabric to show the variation of the light and dark of the tree, while the trunk was always a solid fabric. Sweet Blue“Double Wedding Ring. Blue Ribbon Winner at Ohio Fair! With Provenance Classic All– American Quilt- Never Washed or Used. This lovely American quilt was all“hand done” by Mrs. Helen Hunt House and won first prize with a blue ribbon at the Wayne County Fair in Wooster Ohio in September 1980. Mrs. House entered her quilts in this competition frequently over the years and won blue ribbons at least three times. Helen Hunt was born in Butler County Kentucky in 1918 and married Carl House in 1938. She passed away in Orrville Ohio 16 August 1998. This quilt was handed down through her family and never used. The size is 89 x 72 inches. The fabrics and batting appear to be all cotton. Mrs. House used five blue ditsy prints and two solid blue fabrics for the pattern. Against a snowy white background. The backing is white and the scalloped ... morebinding is solid blue. Mrs. House was a meticulous quilter. The stitching is tiny and neat with an average of 9 SPI. In some areas I saw eight stitches-per-inch. But in many others I counted a full ten! This quilt is in virtually mint condition. I don’t believe it was ever washed after completion and I’ve seen no signs that it was ever used. The blue ribbon and entry tag survive and will be sent with this wonderful quilt to the new owner.

LOT OF 56 ANTIQUE DOUBLE WEDDING RING QUILT BLOCKS, PINK & BLUE
This is a great lot of 1930's wedding ring pieces to make a double wedding ring quilt. Two of the blocks have a yellow center added in but there is no fabric to finish the others(darn! 24 of the blocks have blue joiner squares and 30 have pink. I think this lot would make 14 wedding ring circles but i dont have a clue about how to piece these.the fabrics are great though and the blocks are in excellent condition. All hand sewn. Each are is 7" wide and 13" long. there are 22 rectangles in each blocks(11 per half) and then the two squares at the end that are either both blue or both pink. If I can help with any more details please email me as I am out of my comfort zone when it comes to sewing. This is for a vintage deco ring box made of celluloid/ plastic. The box holds two rings. Measured across the bottom it measures approx. 3" by 1 7/8" It is in good pre-owned condition. There is also included a size 1 sterling silver baby ring. This ring is marked 925 on the inside and Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice on the outside. The ring needs to be polished otherwise it is in good pre-owned condition.

The back is a solid green cotton with hand stitched green binding. The batting is a medium weight. Offered is a sweet stocking made from a beautiful 1920s"Double Wedding Ring" pattern quilt made with lots of wonderful feedsack fabrics.all on a white ground with a butter yellow square center. The quilt was hand pieced and hand quilted with approximately 8 stitches per inch. Nice small and even stitches. This stocking measures approximately 19 inches long. 11 inches from heel to toe, and about 8 inches across the top opening. I've made the back of the stocking out of the same quilt so it can be hung with the toe pointing left or right. It is fully lined with no seams showing using vintage sheeting.the hanger is a grosgrain ribbon. To give the stocking more stability for all of those special treats, I've interfaced both the front and the back pieces. King Sized Double Wedding Ring Quilt Hand Made Quilts -
This is a vintage Double Wedding Ring Quilt-king sized- could be from Appalachian or Amish Country- my sisters and I have been quilt collectors for over 40 years- This quite lovely. But well used and worn- There are some loose patches where pictured but all fabric is in tacts and can be easily repaired- I am just not that meticulous- I have owned it for many years. Vibrant colors. Great shape- Don't know the age and can't remember when I acquired this but it is some time ago. Definitely hand made I try to keep shipping costs resonable and often lose money on these costs. I dont know if it will fit in the fixed shipping box. Probably not but I am pricing it that way. If I have overcharged I will gladly reimburse the difference.

78 Lovely Vintage Double Wedding Ring Quilt Blocks in a very wide variety of feedsack/cotton prints 8.5" x 13" and 3" x 13" This is 377g of fabric all-together. A total of 78 pieces: 18"crescent" pieces with blue centres(8 1/2" x 13" 60"side" pieces(3" x 13" All seem to be vintage cotton fabrics. All are hand-pieced. It looks like the prints are from the 1930s and 40s. These pieces have wonderful variety! You could really make something beautiful with these pieces.

Lovely, Strong - Double Wedding Ring Quilt. 1930s-40s. Appalachian Mt. Region.
This"Hand Done" quilt is in very nice condition. It originated in the Appalachian Mountain area in the 1930s-1940s. And remains strong and beautiful! The size is 83 x 62 inches. The fabrics are cotton. All Hand quilted. The vintage fabrics are mainly floral. Feed sack and calico prints, with highlights of solid blue and yellow. The back and binding are a soft yellow color- The stitching is neat and steady at six SPI. The cotton batting is medium weight. Probably on the heavier side of medium) The overall condition is very good. The fabrics and colors are still strong and there are no holes or tears. There is some slight wear to the binding. Also there is one small brown stain on the back. And if you look closely there is some faint age or storage spotting on front.

RARE VINTAGE 1921 DOUBLE WEDDING RING QUILT FEEDBAG PLUS w/PERFECTION STITCHING
This beautiful Patchwork. Double Wedding Ring Design, 74 X 84 inch Quilt, was lovingly constructed by my grandmother, using an array of feedbags, plus any other brightly colored materials she could find to cut. She began work upon this project in 1921, when pregnant, carrying my mother. She completed it four years later, as therapy after becoming widowed, with five children and a farm, in Northwest Washington State. She used a very fine perfection stitch, all of which are still as perfect as in the days when she mended them by hand. There are no taters, frays, or imperfections. The borders are tightly bound. This fine collectible has been carefully stored in silk, remaining sweet smelling and the bright colors unfaded by the 100 year age. There are several small areas of light, rust colored smudges, on the back, as noted in the photos, but ... morenone show through on the front. I did not try to clean them, and if this is to be displayed as a wall mount or bed cover, they will not show, even with a corner folded back. It has never been judged or rated, but it would obviously gain high points in every catagory. GENERAL CONSTRUCTION WORKMANSHIP, with precise seams, borders and curves, with no ripples or puckers. QUILTING, with even handmade stitches maintained throughout. FINISHING, well executed with no distortions. SPECIAL TECHNIQUES neat secure and effectively executed. In GENERAL APPEARANCE catagory, only minor points may be deducted for the slight discolorations on the back. and those can probably be successfully professionally cleaned to perfection) There is no doubt this quilt would rate near"Best Of Show" in any National Quilting Association sponsored competition.
