Outstanding all original very visual antique Victorian hand done pieced and embroideried fan friendship quilt. Quilt is large measuring 81" x 69" ... moreIt is made up of antique wools. Damasks and silks. The back is a dark grey cotten flannel with a tiny fade noted.See photo. The quilt is entirely made up of different pieced fans that each have an attractive feather stitch embroidery design highlighting them. The one fan in the middle is autographed by each of the women who made the quilt. They are: Ana Gaetzke, Delila Martin, Evva Martin, Emma Martin, May Chase, Anna Perry, Emma Kelley, Lizzie Barman. One of the pieces of silk in the autographed fan has wear. Otherwise the entire rest of the quilt is in excellent condition. Since the black pieces are made of different types of fabrics the color of the blacks does vary. Also, a few of spokes of the fan seem to be mich lighter than others. Some are but they do not stand out like they do in the photo.Unfortunately the photos are quite dark and the quilt is more even in color throughout. Very appealing! This autographed Victorian fan quilt would look spectacular on a large wall since it is so dynamic and visual. A hard to find pattern in this great condition. Antique Redwork Signature Quilt Blocks Turn of the Century
These redwork quilt blocks were stitched at the end of the 20th century or the beginning of the 21st. There are 32 in all. And all but 5 have signatures or initials stitched into the block. There are depictions of flowers, animals, children and nursery rhymes(Jack and Gill" Some are quite elaborate and intricate, while others are simpler. Each block measures 10 1/2" square. There are some yellow spots on some of the blocks here and there, which might possibly be removed by someone who knows about restoring antique quilts. In my opinion these spots are not very noticeable but you can see them. The second photo shows one of the blocks where the stitching has faded or begun to wear away. The stitching on the other blocks is pretty good, considering their age! I was only able to post 12 photos. But if you'd like to see more, just ... moreemail me.

Antique Turkey Red & White Fund Raiser Signature Quilt WW1 Era Michigan Thumb
Here's an exciting Turkey Red and White Fund Raiser Quilt found in Michigan's Thumb. It is formed by 42-25 patch hand pieced squares each containing a white cross in the center with a elegantly cursive embroidered name in red floss. It measures appoximately 69-70"wide by 81-82"long and is probably best suited to a full or twin size bed. It is quilted in a random scalloped pattern. 7 or 8 stitches to an inch. It is hand bound in matching red material on the bias. These are the names included: Mrs. Clark, Mrs. Jacques, Jennie Emery, Mrs. Turnbull,Mrs. W. Lewis, Mrs. H. Manwell, Mrs. Cole, Mrs. C. Metcalf, Mrs. M, Stark, Mrs. W. Bishop, Mrs. Purchase, Mrs. Nims, Mrs. J. Allen, Mrs. S. Sarle, Mrs. Emery, Mrs. G. Stoddard, Mrs. Law, Elder Lewis, Mrs. M. Munger, Mrs. C. A. Lewis, Mrs. E. Freeland, Mrs. I.F. Wyman, Mrs. Wilson, ... moreMrs. E. Thompson, Mrs. Stone, Mrs. C. Branch, Mrs. E. Olmstead, Mrs. Marhle, Sarah Turnbull, Mrs. Maidment, Mrs. A. Freeland, Mrs. Preston, Ertie Purchase, Mrs. Mc Pherson, Mary McKeller, Mrs. Cubbage, Bertha Thomson, Effie McKeller, Mrs. D. Arnold, Minnie Wilson, Mary Hoyt, Jenna Thomson. Hope I got them all correct. Often times these quilts served as a fund raiser for the church. One paid to have her name in the square and perhaps the quilt was then auctioned. It is possible this was a fund raiser for World War 1 and the Red Cross. This quilt has a lovely top surface with lots of body and great strong color. It is clean and there is no odor. Hard to find anything wrong here. The backside shows some wear along the outside edges in spots where the muslin is thin and show small holes. I have tried to picture some of these areas. I believe I saw a small yellow spot on the back also. This quilt was stored in a cupboard and as expected I believe the whites could be boosted with a gentle cleaning. This is a nice piece of history! Thank you. Powered by The free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items.

rags. RARE MANY DATES 1845-1847 SIGNATURE QUILT TOP CHAMBERSBURG PA
This is truly amazing. Rare early textile. It is dated in many places dating from 1845 to 1847. Lots of signatures and embroidered initials. It is still pretty crisp, but has been washed at some point. Fabrics are gorgeous and such a rare opportunity to see early fabrics this old. Names included are Mary Knight, Emma Knight, Mary Keagy,Maria Nesbitt, Martha Knightt, John Reges? J. Smith and a few more. Just found one dated 1850. Quilt top is large. And measures 82" by 92" Has one patch that haas splits and wear and is damaged. A few light stains and foxing, few seams undone. Fabrics are bright and sturdy, especially give the age. Vintage Friendship Signature Hand Quilted 82" by 71.5" Quilt Bed Spread
Hello. Up for auction is a vintage friendship quilt. I can tell that is hand quilted I don't know if the pieces are hand sewn or not. I know the yellow strip that goes around the outside of the quilt is machine sewn. It measures about 82 inches by 71 1/2 inches. It is Lavender and a mint green color with yellow. It has people names and county and state in the cream colored squares. Some of the names have started to come off. It does have a hole which is in the pictures, it is towards one of the corners, it also has some faded spots, and it could use a cleaning but I will leave that for the lucky winner because the last time I washed one of these it came into about a million pieces and took me forever to get it out of my washer. this would still make a great quilt for anyone who likes older quilts, and I'm sure someone could fix it ... moreone way or another. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES AND IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK AND I WILL DO MY BEST TO ANSWER IT. I buy all my items at yard sales thrift stores. Auctions, and estate sales, I try to find out as much about my items as I can but it is impossible to be an expert about everything, so I sell my items AS IS, so please email any questions before bidding. Don't forget to check out my other items for sale. I will also combine shipping whenever possible. Thank you and Happy bidding!

Antique Vintage Signature Quilt bedspread - Old Names - Religious theme ???
Antique Vintage Signature Quilt/bedspread- Old Names This listing is for an old vintage antique quilt/bedspread. Signatures on this piece are old fashioned and make this piece a great find. It appears to have a religious theme of 3 crosses in the background(at least that is what I see when I look at this piece) This piece is tied with threads. See back of bedspread(red dotted threads from back view, red strings from top view of spread) NOT quilted together. I have been told that the pattern is CHIMNEY SWEEP and that historically. Most signature items were made for schools or churches, taking into consideration some of the young ages as they appear on the piece) We have had it suggested that this piece would date around 1925(This is a suggestion only and not substantiated by any documents) I do not have a local as to where this piece was made/originated. ... moreSome of these great names are: Effie. Thurman, Verda, Viola, Opal and Bertha. SIZE: 81" X 71" The individual signature blocks/square measures approx. 12" X 12" The binding surrounding the piece appears to be rolled over from the back of the piece to the front(This should be viewable from a magnified view of some of the corner squares in the photos) 2 of the signature squares have wear. Typical of a piece of this age. see photos of: Irene and Effie) Please ask questions before purchasing. For I do not accept returns. Thank you.

1913-1915 Antique Wagon Wheel Signature Quilt With Biblical Context! Stellar!
This is a beautiful. Extremely well kept piece of American history! To find a Signature Quilt in such great condition is rare, and this is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of handsewn art! This gem was lovingly sewn by families and church members in at least five states; I believe it began in Morrill. Nebraska in 1913 due to the majority of"town and state named" circles bearing this locale. It also traveled to Elm, Missouri.Salt Lake City, Utah.Torrington, Wyoming.Pomona, California.then back to Nebraska in 1915 where it was probably completed. Imagine the journey that this gorgeous quilt took. Probably by wagon(thus the design"Wagon Wheel" or possibly by railroad or even one of Henry Ford's first mass produced Model T's, or both! Back in the day" People would pay a dime each to have their names sewn into these ... morequilts. Some Highlights Include: Reverend J. Clyde& Mrs. Mahaffey. U. P. Church" Reverend W.J. Mrs. Sly. Denver, Co. Baptist S S, Missionary for Col. Wyo. John 3:16" Romans 8:28" 1st Corinthians 13:1" The overall condition for a piece this age is very good. The white background is consistently clean. And the red stitching is consistently bright. There are no tears, rips, or pulling. The edges are a little yellowed as is normal with a piece this age. There is a small spot smaller than a dime on the back of the quilt but it is barely noticeable because it is a very faded yellow color. This beauty measures approximately 65" X 78" There is a total of 20 circles. Each being approximately 15"16" across, and double circled. If you need additional pictures or information, please ask.

It is hand pieced and hand quilted in white thread, with an undulating double line in the sashing and borders, triple leaves in white areas of block, and an X through the printed pieced part of the block. Vintage quilt block, from the mid to late 1800s, signed signature block, antique
This auction is for a vintage quilt block. I'm not a quilt expert. But I used the book Dating Fabrics, by Eileen Jahnke Trestain, to approximate the date. The block is 10" square, it's signed by Mary E. Harren or Warren. The white fabric is discolored by the brown and by age. This block is nicely hand sewn with very tiny stitches. I didn't try to wash it, it's a piece of history and I think it should stay in the condition it is. I wish I knew more about the lady or the origins. I bought this many years ago at a yard sale in Van Buren County, Michigan. This is from a non-smoking home. I am happy to combine auctions to save on shipping. If you win more than one auction. Let me know before you pay so that I can figure out the shipping costs. Contact me with any questions. Insurance is your option on this item. I can't ... morebe responsible for uninsured items. Antique Vintage Quilt 1950 REDWORK SIGNATURE FRIENDSHIP Windsor Ontario Canada
Windsor Ontario Canada 1950 REDWORK SIGNATURE FRIENDSHIP Antique Vintage Quilt Beautiful 1950's redwork signature quilt made by a church in Windsor. Ontario Canada. Each block has a circle full of names with the center block having the date 1950 and church name. Great contrasting white and red blocks. The back is a soft muslin and is brought to the front for the binding. Lovey antique quilt! Measures 72" x 64" Hand-quilted. There is one small tear at border edge. And the binding is frayed. Out of the seventeen circles, I saw four that have the red thread faded off and gone in some areas. And there are some light stains here and there. All in all, this sweet quilt is still in good shape and such a treasure! Please keep in mind that these are vintage and antique quilts. 1920's- 1930's Friendship Album Signature Quilt Top Great-Grandma made a friendship quilt of scraps& calico. Her neighbors gave small bits of cloth from each new gown. Elizabeth Crawford Yates Wonderful Signature quilt top made in the"Album" pattern. It measures 91" x 74" has 30 names embroidered in the center of each block. Based on the fabrics. The sashing is newer& was machine pieced to the blocks. I bought the quilt near the Youngstown, Boardman, Ohio area which is close to the Pennsylvania border. After researching every ... morename in Ohio& not having much luck locating names, I tried Pennsylvania& found almost every one of them. all born around 1902, 1908, 1911, etc. Many of them were related. The names that I could make out are: Lily Carpenter, Alma Brooks, Margie Brooks, Mrs. J A Brooks, Elsie Brooks, Mae Brooks, Bernice Brooks, Elizabeth Hileman, Cleta Williams, Mollie Williams, Myrtle Williams, Thelma Williams, Ula Kenner, Amanda Kenner, E C Amos, Pearl Harrell, Norma Harrell, Minnie Harrell, Agnes Harrell, Martha Price, Helen Price, Maggie Carpenter, Georgia Hicks, and Nellie Burton. 1913-1915 Antique Signature Quilt Hand Stitching Wagon Wheel QUEEN 100% Cotton!
WHAT A SUPER CHRISTMAS GIFT THIS WOULD MAKE! For your consideration. This excellent condition, museum quality, historically significant, one-of-a-kind Wagon Wheel Signature Quilt, made ever so proudly in the U.S.A. If you know quilts, you recognize the special magic of this one. Back in the day. People would pay a dime to have their name sewn into these. This particular one was made over the course of two or three years(1913, 1914, and 1915) it traveled through at least five states, beginning in Morill, Nebraska. It then went to Elm, Missouri.Salt Lake City, Utah.Torrington, Wyoming.Pomona, California.and ending in it's debut state, Nebraska. It measures 65" X 78" And contains 20 wagon wheels, in rows of 4 X 5. It has a typical quilted"tuft" backing, with a 5/16" additional hem for secure design. The red thread ... moreis a true, deepish red. It is not in mint condition. Due to some very slight aging around the edges, a few teeny tiny spots less than 1/3 mm, and a few small seperations in the red stitching, also less than 1/2 mm. Overall, the condition is EXCELLENT, and the red is bright, and all stitching easily legible. I LOVE this one, and hope a Museum or Quilter's Club will pick it up, to help ensure the tradition of signature quilts can be taught and shared with others. It also has biblical context. Bearing names of Pastors, their wives, Churches and Missionaries. It was most likely sewn by families and church members. I have included as many pictures as I am able, but if you would like more, or have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I will share any info I have researched with prospective buyers, and please ask if you are curious about names that are included. This will be shipped same or next business day. And I will pick up the tab for insurance and USPS Priority shipping costs. I do not consider any transaction complete until my customer notifies me of their satisfaction, and I am an excellent communicator! Please be sure to check out all of my other stellar antiques

This guitar has a total playing time of ~2 hours and has mostly been sitting around in it's case since I bought it brand new almost ... morefive years ago. I pulled it out a few months ago and snapped a few pics(was thinking about throwing it up on eBay at the time: Picture 10& 11) But then packed it back up and left it in the corner. I drove 300 miles with it in my car a month ago, opened it up, and. Well, picture says it all. My only explanation, maybe it was vibrating in the car? I don't know. I don't play guitar that much anymore and have probably picked up my acoustic guitar only a dozen or so times within the last 2-3 years. This guitar needs a better home! If okay with the buyer. I'll remove the signature plate and store it within the case compartment. I'll put the screws in a separate bag and make sure everything is secure before it goes. Picture#3- There's a minor chip right above the"10" on the corner of the headstock. It's hardly noticeable but it's still there. Shipping I will ship via FedEx 2-day or equivalent unless otherwise communicated. 16.RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p4%60bo7%60jtb9%3Feog4d71f%2B%3E16%3E-14aef31de60-0xfd-

Peavey HP Signature USA Custom AAAAA Quilt-Top Guitar
Peavey Custom Shop model recently discontinued. Basically a PV version of a PRS. Hate to see it go, as the craftsmanship is outstanding and it has served me well, but I need to thin the herd due to some unforeseen financial circumstances. Genuine 5AAAAA tiger maple top. Ebony fretboard, and the rest is all stock except for the pickups. I swapped the factory versions out(sorry, not included) for Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro"Slash" models to warm it up and take it a little more into vintage Gibson territory. Extremely versatile axe. Guitar is in great shape save normal wear from a pro player. I've used this both on tour and in the studio with several national artists. Very much plays& sounds like a Gibson/PRS hybrid. But for way less money. Thanks for looking!
