But this belonged to my great-grandmother who was born in 1867 but I don't know when she made it or acquired it. Approximate Measurements: 92" x 70" The pillow cover measures 15" by 15" This is a beautiful vintage handstitched quilt with a hexagon honeycomb pattern. This handmade folk art quilt has over 6000 multi-colored hexagon pieces. The variety in the different flowers is amazing. So many different flower patterns and colors expertly put together. This beautiful piece has to be seen to get the true appearance much better than pictures show due to lighting conditions. It features a lovely collection of vintage fabrics. Some feed sack I think. The cotton batting is light weight and evenly distributed. Each hexagon measures 1 inch wide. The hexagons on the pillow are 3/4 inches wide. There are about 260 hexagons on the pillow case. The quality is very good with very light wear. The edge around the quilt has frayed. I showed the most extreme fraying in a picture. There are also two light purple pen marks, one of which bled through, also shown in pictures but hard to find when you are just looking at the quilt as a whole.

Here is a gorgeous hand worked queen size patchwork quilt. It has been machine sewn with a hand stitched edge and then quilted on a quilting machine. In beautiful pink. Mauve and blue florals and lovey detail it also has hand stitched applique stars and hearts around the sides. This quilt measures 170 cms by 165 cms. It is in excellent condition and has just been stored with other quilts made by the same person until now with a downsizing. Happy bidding and good luck. This is a gorgeous little quilt. It's handmade with a lovely chintz cover in green and pinkish colors. The down is not filled evenly. The outer parts a little sparser, but the rest really make up for it. So if this worry you. Just unpick a few stitches and shake the down over the other side. Never been used. I washed it to refresh it, in normal cycle, no problem with washing at all. Size; 145 cm by 172 cm. In the olden days quilts of this size were used halfway across. They didn't cover the bed completely. Usually they had a beautiful cover. Sometimes silk and sometimes other fancy fabric. With buy it now. Shipping is free worldwide.

I think its a double. The bed in the photo is an old double bed. Condition: Does have 2 holes(see photo) the pink lining shows through the holes. Has stains and water marks(see photos) Stains and watermarks should come out with careful cleaning. Otherwise the filling and stitching is all intact. Vintage eiderdowns are getting hard to come by.
