2 Antique Twin Double Wedding Ring Twin Sized Quilts Gorgeous Well Loved
Antique Twin Sized Double Wedding Quilts. these are just gorgeous they are well loved and were definitely used but were made with love for a set of twin beds- an estate sale find from a New Hampshire Church that were untouched- I did not do anything to them except get pictures. I don't know how to safely clean them so that will be left up to the buyer. They don't smell musty to me and seem to be in amazing shape for their age. I just love them and if I had twin beds to display them on would do so I love them and think they are just gorgeous- simple yet elegant at the same time. I believe they are made of all cotton and were hand made and for sure with love just from the stitching which shows better on the back. They do have some areas in need of mending where some of the fabric has worn through and have tried to get good pictures ... moreto show- a couple of stains on one that I have shown but the other does not seem to have any and none appear on the backs of them which I thought was amazing since I have trouble keeping normal quilts clean with my washer and dryer. simpler times that made for amazing items. MATCHED PAIR of 40's Red& White Pickle Dish Wedding Ring Antique Quilts ~2 QUILTS! This GORGEOUS matched pair(TWO quilts) of 40's cotton red and white"Indian wedding ring" pickle dish quilts is hand pieced and hand quilted. With scalloped edges. Each measures 66" X 86" and is in excellent condition. With the occasional small, faint age spot and no wear. There is quilting around the piecework and in a clover design in the background. All at an even 8-9 stitches to the inch. The backs are white. The hand stitched bindings are the same solid red used in the interior, and the battings are thin. RARELY do you find this DAZZLING DESIGN as a matched pair!
