Vintage Double Wedding Ring Quilt finely Hand Quilty Shabby Condition Cutter
This quilt has seen better days. It is fraying around the edges and there are some large stains which may or may not come out. I have not tried any stain removal and will leave that up to the buyer. It has great feed sack fabric. But is worn through in some places. The backing is solid purple. The edges are scalloped. The hand quilting is quite fine, tiny stitches. Very Worn Vintage Cutter Quilt Grandma's Flower Garden 60 x 78 This vintage cutter quilt is in the classic Grandma's Flower Garden and was loved and used a lot! This is very worn but there are several intact areas large enough to be re-purposed. Light weight. Cotton fabric with sparse batting between quilt top and cream colored back. antique child baby cutter quilt feed sack vintage fabrics -- cute!!
This is a darling antique 9-patch baby or child's quilt. It appears to have been machine-quilted. Although the quilt is clearly old and made from vintage fabrics. I tried to take some up-close photos of the quilting so the stitching is more visible. The binding appears to be hand-sewed. The front and back are both made from old feed sacks. This would make a great cutter quilt with its great baby colors and vintage fabrics. I had someone knowledgeable look at it and she believed that it does look hand-pieced. If you are curious about this. I would be glad to take additional photos. There are some minor condition issues. The most significant is an area shown in the second photo. Which has a combination of rust stains and tiny holes. Then I found a small tear, shown in the third photo, and then a section that looks scraped where some of ... morethe stitching has been severed and there are some tiny holes, shown in the fourth photo. The fifth and sixth photos show the backing. The backing does not appear to have any holes, but it does have some yellow discolorations, as the photo shows. I have not tried washing this quilt and those discolorations might be removable. There is a tiny strip of fading down the middle of the quilt and a few small areas where the stitching is coming loose. The remainder of the photos show some up-close detail of the fabrics and stitching. One of the photos shows some of the fading down the middle. The size of the quilt is 40 1/4" wide and 47 1/2" long. Antique vintage Nine Patch quilt patchwork cutter?
Vintage Nine Patch quilt. 66" x 81" in size. Hand quilted and hand pieced. The front has nine patch blocks in prints and solids. They are surrounded by sashings and posts in different colors. The backside is light blue and folds over to the front to make the binding. The backside has a torn place by one edge as the picture shows and a few other small tears. The batting is lumpy some here and there but the quilt lays good and flat. The front is knit fabric. The back is cotton. Bright and colorful.

VINTAGE CUTTER?? QUILT, GREAT PATCHES, 72 X 48
Up for sale is this what I would use for a cutter. It has some excellent vintage blocks. The monkeys, chickens and bears and more. This has been all stitched with a zig zag stitch. It has four of the blocks that have tears, they are all on the side edges. This is good enough to make a baby quilt or use the squares on another quilt The quilt is 72 x 48. Most patches consist of two blocks as this can be used on either side. Some of the patches will need to be restitched if not used as a cutter. Vintage Amish Handmade LONE STAR Quilt ~ 88" x 91" ~Folder ~Cutter?
Vintage Amish Handmade Lone Star Quilt Cutter- Folder ~ Front Porch Worthy! If you like the shabby- country look. this quilt may be for you! We have a soft antique LONE STAR QUILT purchased years ago from an Amish estate sale. This striking quilt does show some signs of wear and a bit of deterioration. So we are classifying it as a cutter or folder quilt. There are no holes or missing fabric; but it's not perfect. It is hand-quilted and machine stitched around the quilt perimiter and boats a nice combination of old fabrics which are probably from the 1930's- 40's. The batting is thin and there is outling quilting and straight line quilting throughout the quilt at about 7 stitches per inch. It measures about 88" x 91" The edges of this binding are frayed in places. But could easily be replaced if this is of concern to ... moreyou. There is also a section along the edge where some of the cross-hatch stitching has deteriorated a bit. In addition, there is some yellowing of the creamy white fabric, but a nice bath should brighten this quilt right up. I've taken LOTS of photos. please ENJOY and bid accordingly. I've used this quilt as a display piece; however. It would also look nice folded at the end of the bed- or a cutter if you so choose. Up for auction is a vintage hand stitched quilt that measures a large 86" x 68" The four colorful stars are made of red. Orange and beige cotton pieces. Three antique vintage cutter quilt pillows 5 by 5 square pink lavender blue
Three very pretty pillows made from a beautiful antique quilt. The hand stitches on this quilt are very nice. I think you can see that in the photos. However. Too many worn spots mean the quilt can't be used. So I've made these pretty pillows to be used as decorations-on your bed or chair, or in a basket. Maybe in a baby's room? Each pillow is about 5" by 5" I take the extra time to box the corners, to give the pillow a nice finished shape. The pillows are stuffed with new fiberfill. Be sure to add me to your! I love to combine shipping! Super stylish. And eco friendly! Stop using paper and save your money and the earth! I just cannot bear to part with even a tiny piece of a vintage item especially from a quilt that some long ago grandmother spent hours upon hours creating. I found a lovely double wedding ring cutter quilt several years ago and made many pillows from the best parts. Some of the areas were in just too bad condition for pillows but had smaller good parts left. I decided to cut heart shapes from those pieces and make coasters. This set of four coasters are doubled with pieces from the same quilt on both the fronts and backs making them reversible. These coasters measure about 5 1/2" wide. After I sewed all around I then scalloped the outsides for a decorative touch. There are four layers of fabric plus ... moretwo layers of thick cotton batting for absorbency. These coasters may be laundered(preferably by hand) and laid flat to dry. Touch up with steam iron if needed. Wouldn't these make a wonderful hostess gift for the next luncheon? Bottom line. The best part of these lovely coasters is that they are not taking up precious room at the landfill. Design may vary slightly from coaster to coaster due to pattern placement. Check out my other items! Note: My home is smoke free. Most of the items I sell are pre-owned. Be aware that it may have once lived in a smoking or pet friendly environment. I never really know where things have been before I obtain them. If this is a possiblility that you cannot live with. Then perhaps it is not the item for you. Vintage Star Quilt - hand pieced, quilted - Cutter - repurpose or use in stack
This is an old quilt measuring 68" wide by 80" long. It contains 20 hand pieced stars. All using plain fabrics, and each star measuring 14 1/2" point to point and then appliqued(can't tell if it is machine applique or very fine handwork) onto a white muslin square measuring 15 X 15" Each square is divided by a 2" wide strip of pink fabric and they have used red squares at the corners. It has survived many launderings, and served its purpose well and long and is ready for a new life. Of the 20 star squares. 14 are in good shape with no wear to the fabric- the six squares in which they used the yellow fabric are all worn thru on that yellow fabric.it didn't hold up well. They still, however, would make great shabby appliques onto a pillow etc. You can see this wear to the yellow in the pictures. I see 3 tiny ... morespots which will probably come out, and there are two holes- one on each side close to the edge. There is a cut about 4" through the border on the foot end and a smaller similar tear or cut close to the corner(abt 2" on the pillow end. There is also some light staining but it is not very visible.one or two. All that being said. It would display well in a stack of vintage quilts, would repurpose into some great pillows etc OR put a little repair into on the binding and edge and use in your lake cottages. I detect no odors. This very old cutter butterfly appliqué quilt measures 74” by 60” It was a spur of the moment buy for me and I have never used it. The appliquéd butterflies come from old feed sacks and some butterflies are missing some of the black blanket border stitching. The batting is thin in several places. There are two stains and a small tear on the yellow back side. The edges are also frayed but it still is a lovely old quilt. Just right for a seaside cottage or a mountain cabin. It comes from a smoke free home.

Up for auction is a vintage hand pieced and hand sewn 8 point star quilt. The body of the quilt is in pretty nice condition. The top edge and the bottom edge is really worn. The side edges have some wear, but nothing like the top and bottom. I'm listing this as a cutter quilt, but I think it could be easily repaired. It is pink, white and multicolored on top and the bottom is white. It measures 62 inches wide and 75 inches long and is displayed on a queen size bed. Vintage Dresden quilt CUTTER CRAFTS!! Heavy! Old!
This is a heavy dresden plate quilt that is a cutter quilt. It has a pink background and pink as well on the back. It is very old! Tattered and torn. It can still be used as a camping blanket. But more so for a craft project. Some plates are still in tact, but the majority of them are torn. The seams are undone as well. Vintage Antique Display or Cutter Quilt Tiny White Stars on Background Fabric
Vintage/Antique Cutter Quilt Up for auction- Old cutter quilt. All hand stitched. Measures approximately 66" by 109" The background material is pretty neat. It is a navy blue with tiny white stars. There are several areas that are worn through and the old cotton batting is showing. The worst is along the one edge and then some of the large blocks show some wear. But there are several areas that are fine. There is a large stain(looks like a water mark) that shows mostly on the backside but does show through to the front in some places. I did not attempt to clean this. I'm afraid I would ruin it. Since I am not an expert on washing old quilts. No unpleasant odors. Lots of photos below. Any questions? Please ask. Lately I seem to be a magnet for old quilts. I belong to a quilting qroup and showed everyone some of the things on eBay made from old cutter quilts. My quilting friends all own some old quilts(some in horrible shape) that they no longer want but don't quite know what to do with. By giving me the job of finding a home for them it eases their guilt. Vintage Quilt with Small Square Design Cutter Beautiful Fabric Cut for Crafts
Here's a lovely vintage hand sewn patchwork quilt. It has been well loved and used a lot. The narrow ends of the twin quilt are fraying. One side a lot more than the other. There are several squares missing from one end. There are a few randoms square throughout the rug that are starting to fray. I have tried to photograph this frays and missing parts accurately. That being said, this quilt is beautiful and has a lot of live left in it. It measures approximately 60" x 84" This quilt could be used for many crafting and sewing project. With a little work, the missing squares could be replaced and the quilt restored. Hope you like it and thanks for looking! Smoke free home.
