But this belonged to my great-grandmother who was born in 1867 but I don't know when she made it or acquired it. Approximate Measurements: 92" x 70" The pillow cover measures 15" by 15" This is a beautiful vintage handstitched quilt with a hexagon honeycomb pattern. This handmade folk art quilt has over 6000 multi-colored hexagon pieces. The variety in the different flowers is amazing. So many different flower patterns and colors expertly put together. This beautiful piece has to be seen to get the true appearance much better than pictures show due to lighting conditions. It features a lovely collection of vintage fabrics. Some feed sack I think. The cotton batting is light weight and evenly distributed. Each hexagon measures 1 inch wide. The hexagons on the pillow are 3/4 inches wide. There are about 260 hexagons on the pillow case. The quality is very good with very light wear. The edge around the quilt has frayed. I showed the most extreme fraying in a picture. There are also two light purple pen marks, one of which bled through, also shown in pictures but hard to find when you are just looking at the quilt as a whole.

This DIVINE Vintage WEDDING RING Quilt is done in Classic Pastel Brights fabrics that serve as the piecework and an ivory-cream muslin that serves as the base cloth and backing All-cotton 1920's-40's prints are primarily florals with a handful of stripes. Plaids, checks, solids and geometrics thrown in for good measure. The quilt is hand-pieced and hand-quilted. Quilting was done at 7 spi in the forms of outline, a horizontal line dissecting all pieces in the ovals, a grid at the junctions of the circles, a double-leaf with a circle in the center on the oval pieces, and a large double circular flower with four half-triangles and four leaves. The gold binding was applied by hand. The quilt measures 75" xx 64" and has thin cotton batting. Only a handful of blemishes to be found.They include a couple pinhead-size specks of ... morerust, one rust spot the size of a pencil-tip-eraser, a 1.5" x.3" cluster of light spots, a 1.5" streak along a seam and four VERY light spots the size of a quarter or more. There is some overall irregular light yellowing throughout and there are two ovals that appear a little darker than the others.one is in the center and one is on a corner. The quilt backing also has some light irregular yellowing throughout along with a 1.5" square rust area, two nickel-size rust areas, a one-inch square rust are and a pinhead-size spot. Some of the edges look uneven, but just need to be ironed. The binding was hand sewn. The hand quilting is done at 6-9 spi, some pencil lines show. There are 20 squares that measure about 12" across. It has never been used& shows no wear. It has thin cotton batting. It has been washed& lays flat. There are no flaws seen. But there could be something small missed. There are no odors. The quilt top is in excellent condition, I noticed just a couple of small faint spots. The back has some repairs around the edge. The repairs are machine stitched and it looks as though it was done before the back was put on. We are listing these all together because the box of patches appear to have been used in all of the unfinished pieces, we weren't sure what went to what. Using photos as a guide, brief description is: Photos 1-4 partially finished top uses hex shaped patches. Measures 61" across at the top, 34" across at the bottom, has a total of 29 whole blocks and 11 half blocks in the top, additionally has 6 unattached blocks, all are hand stitched Photos 5-7 a 4 patch block. Finished piece measures 43 1/2" x 32" additionally has 70 four patch blocks unattached, patches in the blocks are machine stitched, the blocks in the finished piece are ... morehand stitched. Photos 8-9 finished piece measures 19 1/2" x 20" Blocks in this are approx. 5" square, machine stitched Photos 10-12 larger star pattern. 5 completed blocks approx. 13" square, additionally a stack of pieces, these are hand and machine stitched. Photo 13 sewn together piece which has 4 blocks. Additionally 30 completed blocks, these measure 15" diagonally(the sewn together piece has age related spotting on the muslin) Photo 14 smaller star patterns. 2 pieces on far left measure 9" x 4 3/4" loose blocks on the right and center measure 6 3/4" square, 6 of these total. Sweet. Vintage Double Nine Patch crib quilt from the 1930's made mostly of feed sack cotton. It measures 38 x 42" and is hand quilted Batting is thin. Backing is white cotton. Hand quilted in squares at 4 to 5"up" stitches to the inch. Most of the fabric is feedsack cotton including a cute novelty print of a mother cat and kittens. Quilt has been used and is faded. No stains. No holes all the way thru. Binding edges are worn. What a beautiful Vintage quilt kit just in time for Christmas gift giving. This quilt will become a family heirloom and would make a gorgeous displayed during the Holiday. This is an vintage kit that has the air of the 1930's but I am guessing this kit was put out in the50.S 60's. There is no actual date on the package or inside the instructions. The quilt comes in it's original store packaging with the Stewart's Department Store Label. It sold for $17.60! There were several Stewart's Department stores from my research(Lower Manhattan and one in Baltimore, Maryland. but the store label looks much like the writing from the Louisville, Kentucky Store. I do not know if they were one ... morein the same or all different ownership. The package was opened and the kit is in pristine condition! The quilt and applique pieces are still in factory folded condition. The red and green binding are still folded and secured with factory ties. The directions are yellowed from time and some what wrinkly and the main picture does have a slight tear and is wrinkly. The quilt top measures 84"x100 suitable for Twin or Full beds. The quilt top is listed as white but it has turned ivory from time. There is blue printed design throughout the quilt top for quilting process. I am including all the floss colors listed with exception to#498 Dark Red. I could not find it at my local store. The DMC colors listed with the kit do not seem to match up with today's DMC colors Dark Green is now a Olive color green. So you may need to adjust the colors to your taste. This is an old Hand Stitched Quilt Top in a Flower Basket pattern. Made of some feed and flour sack fabric. There are a couple of novelty fabrics that are really neat. One has little ducks marching across it and the other one has football players. The blocks are 12 3/8" The whole top measures 71 x 88. Hand pieced and hand stitched. Advertisements, war pictures, girlie pics etc. etc. The top itself features a crazy spider web strip pattern. The fabrics are great novelty prints, it is in good condition, I noticed light spotting on one tip of a star, this is a large piece it measures approximately 65" x 74" it would lay flat if paper were removed, I did not want to dist urb it too much. This is probably a piece you will want to restore anyway since the peach colored binding has some spots and some separations. One end of the piece is oddly devoid of butterflies. All that being said. Vintage Antique Quilt - Very Old - White with Fan Pattern
Very old quilt. Not sure how you can tell the age. It was bought at an estate sale. It measures 62in. by 63 1/2in. The quilt does need repaired in some certain places. One particular color patch did not hold up as well as the rest almost every one is ripped or tore. Also there are some stains. We have not attempted to clean the spots. The last 4 pictures show the ripping in the patch. Also in pic 3 and 4 we attemped to show some of the stains. Kinda hard to see but they are there.

It measures 82” by 80” The quilt is in good shape for its age. It does have some wear to the edges that could be rebound and three flower octagon blocks have some wear/damage. The backside is all white. It has a few dark browning spots. Some yellowing at one edge and one small hole that does not go through to the front. I did not try to clean or treat the quilt so the spots might be able to be taken out. This is a super nice quilt and very old. It is fresh from a local estate. This is a beautiful hand appliqued 2 piece summer weight coverlet and double pillow sham with large flower designs(rose of sharon? The bed cover is 69" X 84" and the pillow cover is 35" X 69" It is edged with a pink binding I have not found any worn or torn places on these pieces. But there are several small rust colored stains as shown in pic# 7, 8, 9. The creases on the pillow cover appear to be slightly soiled, also. I do not believe that these pieces have ever been laundered(and rarely used) Although I expect that the slightly soiled areas where this was folded would come clean, I have not tried and would not guarantee it. Each heart measures approximately 8 inches wide by about 7 inches tall. And has a black satin ribbon hanger.they are each firmly plumped with new premium filberfil. The backs of the hearts are from the same crazy quilt, and just as beautiful! There are two(2) hearts that have exceptional and detailed hand painting.these ladies that lived over 130 years ago were so very talented! Vintage Nine Patch quilt. 66" x 81" in size. Hand quilted and hand pieced. The front has nine patch blocks in prints and solids. They are surrounded by sashings and posts in different colors. They are framed with a moss green matte and brown frame. These have been traditional gifts in our family, often for weddings or Christmas. They look great hung as a pair or individually. Old Mennonite Quilt Block Square 1930's Vintage Bleeding Heart Pattern FRAMED
FRAMED Antique Large Applique Quilt Square c. 1930's Pennsylvania Mennonite Lancaster County. Pennsylvania DESCRIPTION An Antique Mennonite made large Appliqued Quilt Square made circa 1930's. We found this locally in Lancaster County. Pennsylvania. A beauty of an old quilt square. Completly handstitched. This vintage quilt square from the early part of the 20th century has wonderful intricate detailed applique work and was certainly made by an accomplished quilter. Pieced by hand and made of all cotton fabrics the applique work is done upon a thin black cotton. The color combination is so charming, an offwhite, a warm pumpkin orange and a grass green. The design is delightful. And many of the old pattern names come to mind. There are elements of'Joseph's Coat' and'King David's Crown' also'Cross& Crown' ... moreIt seems to have the most in common with the"Bleeding Heart' pattern. We haven't identified the exact pattern, it may have been an original design. It certainly draws upon many of the Biblical Quilt Patterns available in the era of the 1930's. The entire quilt square was hand pieced and hand stitched. Minute stitches and tiny little pieces of fabric were cut and pieced carefully to create the intricate motif of hearts with twining vines and stylized diamond shapes. The overall effect is simply stunning. The outer edge of the quilt square is done in a 1-1/2" wide border of the pumpkin color. And the corners were mitered and the edges turned under. We slip stitched the quilt square onto a plain black fabric and framed it in a simple black painted rustic wood frame. Because of reflections that the camera captures. We had to photograph it without the glass. This will be shipped with glass covering the needlework, and wire will be added to the backing of the frame so it's ready for you to hang. Because this is square in shape, it can be displayed on it's edge also as we show it in one of our images below. Size: Overall in frame it measures 21-3/4

Vintage Tied Baby Quilt Comforter Wall Hanging Embroidered Angel Kitten Dog
This is a very sweet vintage tied baby quilt/comforter. It could also be really cute used as a wall hanging in a nursery. It is hand embroidered and hand tied. It features the prayer: Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. Guide me safely through the night. Wake me with the morning light. Amen At the top is an angel with wings. On either side is an angel holding a candle. Toward the bottom are a little boy and a little girl kneeling to pray. At the bottom are a puppy and a kitten. There are also cute little flowers throughout. It measures 33 inches across and 44 inches up and down. The front of the quilt is in very good condition except for a stain at the upper left and some other slight staining(this was obviously well-loved) Please see photos. I have NOT tried to clean this in any way. The fabric on the back is a pastel ... moreprint of babies floating in little cradle-boats. It has several rips in it. It might be a good idea to replace the back if you want to put it on a baby's bed. But if you are going to use it as a nursery decoration it will be just fine. From a smoke free home. Vintage quilt top Job's Troubles Snowball Four point
Huge old top in the Job's Troubles or Snowball pattern. And there are several more pattern names. Made in the 1930's or 40's, machine stitched, though there are a few pieces set by hand. In great condition, no holes or bad fabric. There are some small stains that I believe will wash out, I haven't tried to clean it. Measures 87" by 88" I try to find any defects but I can't guarentee I'll see them all. No returns unless item is not as described. This is an older piece and therefor no longer perfect as the day it was made. Insurance may be added to the cost of shipping.
