Description Offered for auction is a beautiful very colorful antique 1800's"Pryamid" unused quilt top. It measures about 73" X 82" The quilt is completely hand stitched except for the borders. The colors are bright and fabric is strong and unwashed. The quilt is in very good unused condition but there is some discoloration on one border edge which is shown in the last pic. CHERISH EACH DAY& ALL WILL BE OK This vintage flower garden quilt top is probably from the 1930's& measures 76" by 76" to the tips. The hexagons are about 1 1/8" across. There is a garden path through the flowers. Quarter sections are shown. To see the fabrics better. It's all cotton, with a few somewhat faded fabrics. It was all hand stitched at 9-12 spi, tiny even stitches. It has been washed& lays flat. There are no other flaws seen, but there could be something small missed. There are no odors. Antique/Vintage CHURN DASH Quilt TOP made in New England c.1875. This wonderful early quilt top is 76 inches long by 70 inches wide. There are a total of 42 Churn Dash blocks that are each 8 inches square. The cotton fabrics are scrumtious INDIGO BLUES. MADDER BROWNS, MOURNING prints, assorted SHIRTINGS, etc. that have never been washed and are crisp and vibrant. The Mourning print sashing between blocks is 2.5" wide. The two side borders are 4.5 inches wide by 76" and they are of a little darker Mourning print. Every stitch is done precisely by Hand with all points sharp. This crisply pieced 13-patch scrapbag quilt top is loaded with exquisite double-pink and brown calico scraps arranged in beautiful, neat, sharp blocks. The massive variety of double-pink printed motifs alone make this a very appealing holding for any student of early prints. An occasional bit of early mauve/purple turning towards tan just adds even more richness. I would date this top to around the 1880's. It has a curious little extra, too: nearly hidden on a block near the center, the tiniest little strip of paper is tacked to the top. This seems to hold a long name written pencil but is very nearly illegible. Perhaps the maker had fleeting thoughts of making this a friendship quilt with various signatures? Size The quilt top measures ... moreabout 83 x 91 inches. The blocks are about 9inches square and the individual patches about 2 inches square. Construction The blocks are neatly hand-pieced and then set together with the sashing by machine. Condition The quilt top's condition is excellent: strong. Sturdy, crisp and clean. It looks too me too crisp to have ever been washed. Out of 56 blocks, I count about 13 with some instance of brown staining or spotting, plus a few very well hidden brown stains here and there in the sashing. This wonderful quilt top is about 41"x 33" and has never been finished. It has some staining. But no offensive odors(just smells like clean laundry) I don't know why there is some small black pieces of fabric sewn in a couple areas on the back. 1880s–1900 Antique Quilt Top. Bowtie Blocks, neat& tidy. Scroll down for additional photos. Size is approximately 68 inches by 79 inches. The bowtie blocks form a lattice network on this late 19th century top. The illusion being that the bowties are floating over the squares The backgrounds are also arranged in diagonal rows by color. And the result is a design that is more cohesive than the usual bowtie compostion. Lots of typical fabrics from the period here: directional shirtings. Woven and printed, maroon prints, bright reds, indigos. Quite a few nice early flannels Block piecing is by hand and by machine both; blocks are sewn together by machine. The top lies flat. Condition is very nice: neat. Clean, crisp, unused, unwashed. A few lighter fabrics are showing some darkening; there are some pale spots. No odors. Judging by the Turkey Red and shirting fabrics used. I would estimate the top to have been made between 1880 and 1900. The top measures approximtely 74" X 75" There are a few small popped seams(top is hand-pieced) and some stains probably caused by moisture. Most of the stains are lighter- the stain at the center of the top is darker and about 3 1/2" in diameter. I have seen no fabric deterioration. This top would make a nice addition to your collection. Large Antique Quilt Top "T Blocks" 84 x 87" Hand Pieced 1880's-1900
This is a wonderful example of a very early quilt top. It is all cottons and measures a large 84 x 87" The block is called"T Blocks" Or"Four T's" and it measures 10 1/2" It dates to the 1880's to 1900 and has marvelous prints. Some are crisp cottons and some have a brushed feel, and as I have shown, the maker sometimes ran out of one fabric and substituted another of a similar color, giving it the charm of a make do era. It is completely hand pieced, even the green print border. The border goes all around, and is 4" I saw only one very small age spot, it is otherwise excellent, with no holes, weak spots, or odors. A very nice collectable top.

Offered here. An absolutely beautiful old(maybe 1925+) large quilt top exquisitely and precisely hand stitched. The base color is a warm light peach(not pink) and the variations are feedsacking in floral and abstract designs. The 1 5/8" square s quares are oriented to appear as diamon ds; I counted 2.590 whole squares. There are 25 large blocks and one row of half-blocks perhaps intended to be the head of the bed. The entire piece measures 82" wide and 94" long. I hope the photographs show the total effect of this piece. The only soil I can find is depicted in the eighth photo-4 very small. Light spots. Ot herwise this is in perfect clean and crisp condition. I would personally love to see this quilted. I u nderstand it to have come from Pennsylvania. Th anks for looking into my auctions.

Antique Wedding Ring Pattern 30's/40's Quilt Top
This is a top only measures 88"x88" with bright colors. It will be beautiful when completed. It is hand and machine pieced. Made with cotton and feedsack from the 30's-40's. I found a couple split seams and there are 2 areas that have some staining I have no idea what it is. I tried to capture them in pictures. Most of this top is in excellent condition. The fabric is strong and will make a great quilt the colors are much better then the pictures my lighting was very bad. These fabrics are from the 30's 40's& 50's and there maybe small flaws.
