Also included is a new and unused Noah's Ark Baby Book. The blanket or quilt has some interactive pieces on it. Such as there are little cloth doors or flaps on the Ark, and you can actually open and close them, there are more animals inside! Also the wings of the dove have movement. I have the original cardboard piece that shows a Picture of all of the pieces displayed in a room. Vintage feedsack crib quilt hand quilted has wear 1930's era Double Nine Patch
Sweet. Vintage Double Nine Patch crib quilt from the 1930's made mostly of feed sack cotton. It measures 38 x 42" and is hand quilted Batting is thin. Backing is white cotton. Hand quilted in squares at 4 to 5"up" stitches to the inch. Most of the fabric is feedsack cotton including a cute novelty print of a mother cat and kittens. Quilt has been used and is faded. No stains. No holes all the way thru. Binding edges are worn. See one small 9 patch square where fabric has worn away to the batting and one large double nine patch square in a corner where a lot has worn to the batting- see second to last photo. Antique Vintage Crib or Youth Flower Basket Quilt from Western North Carolina NR
This is an exceptionally nice crib or youth quilt 48 x 58 inches in size. It was purchased by us at a farm estate liquidation sale about 35 years ago near Hickory. N. C. Each quadrant of the quilt, front and back is shown in photos 2 through 9. Hand stitched and comprised of fabrics that appear to be from the early 1900's and maybe feed or flour sacks.This quilt retains part of the velcro hanging system that was installed by us as well as some small weights to keep it hanging straight. They could be used to hang it again or easily removed to use it as a throw or on a bed. The background, or field, is a beige or tan fabric, not white. There are a few stains that were present when we purchased it. This has been in a smoke free, climate controlled environment both in North Carolina and now in Florida. The quilt pieces were put together with a white muslin material and hand stitched quilting with white thread. There are a few stains and small cuts in the muslin which I have tried to show in the pictures. I would judge this collectible item to be in very good condition for the age and considering it was used. This was my baby quilt. It is 68 years old and has been in storage for many. Many, years. I am cleaning out my house of years of accumulation at the pleas of my grown children. Please look at all pictures and email any questions.

19c CRAZY QUILT MENNONITE BUGGY CRIB CARRIAGE QUILT WOOL SILK w PROVENANCE ANTIQUE MENNONITE 19c CRAZY QUILT IN VERY NICE CONDITION w PROVENANCE: DISPLAYS BEAUTIFULLY! This quilt comes with historically correct and meticulously researched provenance. I will include the quilters name and history via message and in print with your purchase. Please send all inquiries to me through the eBay site and I will be happy to provide you with the information before you bid. This vintage crazy quilt measures 35 inches wide by 64 inches long. It is done in mid to later 1800's dress silks and light weight woolens. The quilter used cotton shirting foundation pieces that have geometric designs in madder brown. Which may have lead to some of the shredding of the silks. Silk shredding is not uncommon as silk fabrics just did not hold up well throughout ... morethe years. The quilt is tied in intervals with autumnal color ombre wool yarn and finished in pretty little bows. The back of the quilt is a very dark almost black indigo blue with a double chevron styled weave. The light"dots" on reverse side in picture#18 are the yarn ties. Not lint. The edging is a black satin ribbon attached by a mechanical sewing machine. The rest of the quilt is all hand done. The pieces are embellished with herringbone stitches which was pretty much the decorative stitch used consistently in the 1870's to the early 1900's. That's not the only clue I used to date this quilt. A combination of stitches. Fabrics utilized for the top, the foundation fabrics, the backing fabric and the historical background and information of the quilter has helped me accurately date this quilt as made between 1875 and 1900. The new owner of this quilt receives the historical information. This way you alone retain the rights to it. And it is not just presented as a part of this ad. Vintage hand made 1940s 1950s Feedsack child baby crib cover quilt This is a child size or baby crib size quilt top measuring 35 ¼ by 25 ¼ inches. This quilt cover does not contain any quilt batting. The back fabric is a pink dotted swiss. Perfect as a bedspread type covering for a crib- or as a summer type quilt It is composed of feedsack materials mainly from the 1940s. But also some feedsack fabric from the 1950s The feedsack prints are lovely and bright– I have taken numerous clickable to enlarge photos– Great colors in the connecting ... morematerial strips. Too– a bright yellow and then a jadeite green, also with a jadite green border. clickable photos: Quilt pattern is a star design– rather a one of a kind piece because feedsack scrap fabric pieces were used(see note below) Each star square is composed of 20 separate pieces. Either diamond shaped or triangular. Each star square measures approx 7 ¼ inches by 7 ¼ inches. There are 12 star squares. Expert information on the design- The block pattern has many names. Depending on the exact print/color placement. Your quilter used scraps so it doesn't follow those rules. Pointed Star, Star of Diamond Points, Southern Star, The Star, LeMoyne Star, Puritan Star Quilt, and others. Below is the one green square with soiling. Condition: It is very lovely– what follows is the extreme detail. I have not cleaned this vintage piece. I see one green square that shows some soiling. I do see some light reddish type dots in some of the fabric. Easter is early this year so I thought I had beeter put this adorable vintage buynny quilt up for sale. Plus I have this cutest 1940's bunny applique curtain valances that are just exquisite so I am listing them together! The quilt is in perfect unused condition. It is hand appliqued and hand quilted and the workmanship is exceptional. Please look at the bunnies outfits for the tiny hand embroidered detailing. It is just too sweet. Likeswise the hand quilting is perfectly executed at 10spi. Lovely flowers in each conrned and down the center frame of the quilt. Notched edging and a pastel pink backing show the quilt off to perfection. Fiber filling. So its probably a 1950's quilt, from a kit as you can see some the lght blue dots of the quilter's guide. Not a mark or spot on it, more than beautiful enough for a shower gift. The ... moreapplique valances are really lovely. Delicately hand appliqued on crisp starched muslin. Each bunny ear meets the next and these have tiny plastic hoopes for hanging. 2 valances. Each with 5 bunnies they are_ long and_ wide from the tip of the bunny ear to the hem. The hems are finsihed and they are one layer, not backed. I think besides being used as curtains there could be some other use for them-velcrow them around a clothes hamper for the baby? Or hot glue to a pot and bring a pretty plant into the nursery? Woudln' they be cute as valances with pink and white dot curtains? Vintage. Cotton, child's crib quilt with yellow sashing. Squares are hand embroidered puppies on flour sack cotton. Quilting was done by hand. Came from an Iowa estate. It measures 36 x 50" and is in good condition with little wear. There are two squares with small. Light yellow spots as shown. Quilt was joined by machine Batting is thin and hand quilting was done at 6"up" stitches to the inch. Backing is white flannel. Squares were embroidered on flour sack cotton. I ship Mondays.
