Paris Tint Bronze Copper Metal Heron Button Card 1880-1910 Victorian French 48
I have up for bid two full cards of 24(24x2=48) metal shank buttons from Paris that is still intact on the possible original card. Which is in poor condition, with a heron standing in the reeds with a flower as the theme. The buttons have the similar theme and are tinted with a bronze and coppery color as shown in pic. The buttons measures approximately 5/8" diameter. Not sure of the metal but it is not steel, I believe it may be copper, brass or bronze with a color tinting, silver or silver plating, just as shown in pic. Very interesting. I will have others to be listed. You will be receiving the buttons and card in the exact condition I received it, I have swept off most of the loose soot like dust but the cards and buttons are NOT CLEAN, I do not want to ruin any part of the card anymore than shown or the button. The buttons are in great vintage condition, I have left them on the card so that you can see the age, and that it has been on the card for a very long time.
