I would estimate this satin type fabric to be from the 1930's by talking with the person who gave it to me. It is the original dress front from his mother. There are 12 tiny. Diminutive size glass buttons on the front. They are faceted glass front with a tiny metal loop on the back. It looks to be inserted in the back. I did not want to remove them so I can't get a photo of the back. The buttons are each in very good condition with no chips or flaws.
