A Pair of presumably French. Though possibly American or English, Victorian Exceptional Buttons. Each having a brass body with fanciful chased background containing a cloisonné dog all surrounded by a black enameled band. Note that each Cloise wire appears to be silver vs. the usual brass ~ mixed metal. Searched for makers marks, but found none.
