Antique lot - 2 Glass Ball Waist Coat Buttons, 1 luster china button
Three beautiful antique waist coat buttons. The clear one is quite remarkable as you can't see the shank in the glass- it appears to simply float yet the shank is quite secure. it measures 1/2" across. The blue on has a white swirl in it and has a little chip in it(see picture) It is well constructed as well with a brass shank going all the way through it. The third button is a small china button with a lustrous finish and a well made shank. I would be glad to combine shipping. Thank you for looking at my item.

Most of the Underleak collection was completed before and during the early years of the Second World war. So most of the collection would have come before 1941. RARE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN FACET JET GLASS BALL 4-WAY BRASS SHANK BUTTONS 3PC
This auction is for a total of three(3) wonderful. Hard-to-find Victorian era faceted, jet glass ball buttons. They have a flat mirror-finish on the top and the ball is faceted throughout. What is really unique is that on the underside it has a tiny brass square center and a 4-way shank. These have more weight to them, and it is the first time that I have ever seen anything like them. They are not to be compared to the glass Czech buttons which are much lighter and of different quality. These are a must for the collector of hard-to-find buttons. These would be suitable for restoration projects of the era, a purse for closure at center front, etc. Please use"Zoom" feature for all fine details.
