This is a set of 12 little waistcoat buttons with an approximate 5/16" ... morediameter. Although they are just over 3/8" across, the brass is very elaborately stamped and cut forming a sort of bezel setting over the mother of pearl centers. The buttons are backed with black painted steel backs which give the buttons a shank style attachment. Even the tiny mother of pearl inserts are incised with a circle. VINTAGE LOT OF BEAUTIFUL, VERY DETAILED CUT STEEL CENTER MATCHING PICTURE BUTTON
Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE These buttons are really nice buttons. And are a matched set. They need cleaned but are all in great working condition. They appear two toned, have really pretty flowers and vines on their surface. The upper levels are a brighter brass color than than the lower area where the flowers are, it appears darker. The edges of the buttons have a detail on them also. They measure a little under 3/4 inch. They have star shaped faceted steel in their centers. Thank you for visiting my eBay store. This is a really sweet antique button with a beautiful design. It measures about 11/16" in diameter. The design looks embossed and the cut steel has a star shape to it. Nice! When listing an item. The condition question only offers two choices- New or used. Unless my found vintage and antique buttons are still on their original card. I list them as used because of their age.
