It is now a button short, the box is the worse for wear, and the stems of the hat pins have corroded where it seems they were stored under the material in box. However, the corrosion has not effected the strength of the stems, which can be unscrewed. Also, the tops of the hatpins swivel. The buttons, buckle and tops of hatpins are all in fine condition. Although the set was made in Manchester, England, the makers had a shop in Brisbane, Australia. They are dated 1912-13 which makes them just at one hundred years old. We do not ship overseas.

1890s Victorian Art Nouveau Stork Gilded Sterling Buttons Lot Set of 5 Antique
Beautiful antique set of sterling silver gold filled flying Stork buttons. They are not marked. But I have a matching pair of earrings which are marked STERLING, so I tested these, and they are sterling silver with at least 10K gold overlay. Also have a matching ring. All are being listed at the same time. The buttons measure 16.3mm or.64" in diameter and each one weighs slightly different from 3.1 to 3.4 grams with a total weight of all 5 of 15.8 grams. There is some wear and indentations of some of the storks, so please check photos for condition. Shipping cost includes insurance. Comes in a gift wrapped box.
