2 Vint Victorian Black Glass Buttons, faceted edge w/Lace Flower design inside
2 Vintage Victorian Black Glass Button Charm- Cut-Faceted Edge/ Lace Flower Design You are bidding on a vintage two 1920's Round Shaped Black Victorian Buttons that were placed on a vintage charm bracelet. Both glass buttons are a matched set. The buttons have a cut/ etched border surrounding what looks like a raised Lace Flower motif in the center. There is an embedded brass loop in the center back of each of these buttons that would attach them to clothing. Or in this case they were found on a Victorian charm bracelet. The buttons are in excellent condition on the front without damage. There are a few tiny flea bite chips seen primarily through a jewelers loop on one button on the back and along the back edge, none of which would be seen if placed on a piece of clothing. These would be a great gift for anyone who appreciates vintage ... morefindings, or placed on your own charm bracelet as these glass buttons are very old and in excellent condition. The brass loop is well secured into the center of each on the backside. These black glass buttons are difficult to find in such excellent condition, and make facinating charms when placed with other vintage charms. These button/ charms were found on a bracelet in my Great Aunts Sewing cabinet which I received from her estate. She had several charm bracelets, and these two buttons were on one of her bracelets. I found another matching button and have decided to sell both together as they look superb. The button/ charms in the photos above measure 5/8" in diameter. By 3/16" deep not including the back loop. I do not polish or clean the charms or bracelets I sell on Ebay, leaving that decision to the buyer. This is a lovely set of button charms made from vintage rare black glass buttons and is quite unique. This listing is for a set of two(2) large deeply engraved Flower Design fluted edge Black Glass Buttons. They measure 1" inch in diameter and have a small brass eye embedded in the back of the button to sew it on with. I've not seen this design before. On the front is a Flower design. Very detailed, very ornate and deep, with a like fluted edge around it. My pictures just don't do them justice, they are really pretty buttons. This listing is for some very old metal buttons. There are only 3 of them. But they are really unsual and pretty. They are a cupped Brass, I believe, button with an applied Silver Flower design. Now my husband turned them upside down and he thinks they look like Grapes, but I will let you be the judge. Either way they are really nice. I have not tried to polish them and so there is some tarnishing on the brass, but I am sure that they will shine up nicely if you so choose. They measure 1/2" in diameter and have an eye on the back to attach them with. These belonged to my husband's Grandmother who died in 1983 at the age of 91. Victorian Antique Brass and steel( metal buttons ~ 2 sets of 3 matching each ~ There are no maker's mark. The Hawaiian ones are in good condition with the green patina and are 7/8" in diameter. A relief design shows either flowers or trees( with a double raised border. The 3 faceted ones are in fair condition because of the black wearing off the metal. 13 Antique Steele Cut Steel Flower Design Buttons Antique Clothing
These are 13 antique steele cut buttons. They measure 1/2 inch in diameter. They have what looks like a small black bead in the center of the flower design. One of the black beads is missing from one of the buttons. A few of the buttons have some of the black rubbed off the front of the button otherwise they are in good condition.
