Happy to offer these exquisite examples of well made AND beautiful vintage. I have dated these c. mid 1800's based on the design and materials. These sweet little brass buttons measure 5/8" Diameter. They are a single layer. Openwork dome with a dimensional floral motif. Each features 8 facet cut steel gems, creating sparkling beauty despite some tarnish. There is a total of 18 buttons. Including 2 which are bent(one of these is missing a steel cut) and 1 other which is only missing a steel cut. Please examine photos carefully for condition and features. These 13 Victorian buttons feature a silvered brass escutcheon in a floral motif with cut steel accents over a shiny sort of midnight blue metal backing. The buttons are about 1/2 an inch across. Overall fair condition with surface rust/patina and shine loss to background piece. Some leaves are bent. Some flowers have lost their silvering.
