Happy to offer these exquisite examples of well made AND beautiful vintage. I have dated these c. mid 1800's based on the design and materials. These sweet little brass buttons measure 5/8" Diameter. They are a single layer. Openwork dome with a dimensional floral motif. Each features 8 facet cut steel gems, creating sparkling beauty despite some tarnish. There is a total of 18 buttons. Including 2 which are bent(one of these is missing a steel cut) and 1 other which is only missing a steel cut. Please examine photos carefully for condition and features. Here is a pretty lot of nine decorative pierced brass buttons. The larger three have an open floral heart design and measure 1/2" across. The backs have raised loop shanks. Antique Pierced Brass Buttons Japanese Woman w/ Steel Fan Mother 3 Daughters set
These four matching pierced brass buttons feature a Japanese woman with a steel fan leaning over a bamboo fence. The large button is about 1 5/8 inches across while the three smaller buttons are about 5/8 of an inch. All four antique buttons have heavy patina and surface rust to the fans. Steel wool should clean them up nicely. Please examine the photographs carefully. These antique buttons will be well-wrapped and shipped via USPS. Thanks so much.

ANTIQUE BRASS ETCHED PIERCED METAL TWINKLE MIRROR BUTTONS SQUARE 3 PCS 3/8"
This auction is for three lovely antique etched. Pierced brass metal twinkle mirror back buttons with a silver metal backing. They each measure approximately 3/8" square and 1/4" depth. These are being sold"AS IS" I believe that if these were shined up. They would be sparkling and one could see the inside of the tiny holes more clearly. If one looks closely at photos, there are iridescent colors of purples, pinks, blue/turquoise.see Photo 2 in particular) Photos have been taken in natural light with no flash. They are a darker brass and are not super bright.they are also much more delicate than photos depicted at a closer view. Please take this into consideration. They look like little pillows.
