Selling items for my mother. Her cherished collectibles, as well as from Vintage Estate Jewelry and Collectible items from other estates we have inherited and acquired over the past few years. Some estate items are newer. Within the last 4-10 years, but purchased and barely worn and just stored with estate collection. Please do not expect store bought perfect new items! Our items are sold'AS IS' or Vintage. Meaning used condition, will show some signs of age, use, and wear expected with a pre-owned, used item. We will never guarantee our items to be in perfect condition. But then you would be paying department store prices! If items are clearly marked. We do not have it acid tested, especially if markings include designer’s markings. Unmarked items we have tested. If natural hairline internal cracks in stones. Antique BUTTONS 1800s Carnival Mother of Pearl Cameo Black Glass Metal Filigree
These buttons were found in my aunt's home after her passing at the age of 93. They were in a tin can with a note stating they belonged to her grandmother. They are from the late 1800s to early 1900s. And there are 150+ buttons of various materials. Five buttons are Lady Cameos. One is made of iridescent Carnival Glass and depicts a hunting dog. Four metal buttons have an image of a log cabin among pine trees. Two buttons are red, blue and black enamel. There are a few carved wood buttons and some ceramic ones but most of them are black cut glass. The largest mother of pearl button is 1-1/2" diameter. 4 ANTIQUE MEXICAN SILVER OAXACA Older Filigree Designed Round BUTTONS Mexico
This auction is for a group of 4 older Mexican silver buttons. They were made like the Oaxaca style of filigree designed jewelry. The silver loop shanks are soldered on and in very good condition. The buttons are all slightly different. Since they were all hand made. Each button measures approximately 1 1/8" in diameter(28 mm) All of the buttons are stamped Mexico Silver. Although the stamping is doubled and not complete on a couple of the buttons(see photos) They are all in very good antique condition with some slight tarnishing. I have not tried to clean or polish them. They came from an estate in Tucson. Arizona. Please view my other auctions for more collectibles and antiques. These buttons measure 1 1/4" in diameter and the length of each chain measures 5.5" in length. 24 large buttons in varying designs that measure 1" in diameter. 20 Medium buttons in varying designs that measure 7/8" in diameter. 4 small buttons in varying designs that measure 6/8" in diameter. We continue offering items from a consignment that have been in a Southwestern New Hampshire family for years. As we have now discovered, back into the first half of the 19th century. This is a set of 6 antique silver buttons. They're very nicely made in a pierced filigree dome shape with Gothic style tracery patterns. The back of each one is marked 800. A slightly lower grade of silver than sterling. The loop shanks have other tiny unfamiliar hallmarks as shown greatly enlarged. One looks like an RH mark. They have a real ornate design with 6 Steel(diamond shaped) stones on the outer part of the button and 6 around the middle with one in the center of them. The Steel stones appear to be somehow riveted or peened over they are not glued on. It measures 1 1/4" dia. We will be adding lots of other unique vintage items. Vintage Antique Set of 5 Extra Large Brass Filigree & Blue Rhinestone Buttons
These extra large antique buttons measure 2" in diameter. They are an inverted dome shape with 2 blue rhinestones that measure approximately 1/2" in diameter with many facets and come to a point at the top. The metal appears to be brass with a silver tone coating and is cut in a beautiful filigree pattern. The silver tone on some of the buttons is a little darker than the others. Extremely unique Asian Victorian set of 6 buttons. The edges have tiny hearts that you can only see upon very close inspection. With a filigree insert, scene of pagoda and tree, in uncanny detail. Yes. The swatch in the picture only shows 5 buttons, but I am have another swatch with more of them and will remove one to join your set. I think they are cellulose, relief could be wood, not sure.
