Antique BUTTONS 1800s Carnival Mother of Pearl Cameo Black Glass Metal Filigree
These buttons were found in my aunt's home after her passing at the age of 93. They were in a tin can with a note stating they belonged to her grandmother. They are from the late 1800s to early 1900s. And there are 150+ buttons of various materials. Five buttons are Lady Cameos. One is made of iridescent Carnival Glass and depicts a hunting dog. Four metal buttons have an image of a log cabin among pine trees. Two buttons are red, blue and black enamel. There are a few carved wood buttons and some ceramic ones but most of them are black cut glass. The largest mother of pearl button is 1-1/2" diameter.
