Offered is a very cool vintage celluloid tight top button. it measures 1& 7/8" in diameter and has a pie crust rim on both the outer black part and the center part which has a shimmery effect giving off hints of green and gold. When viewed from the top. The button appears to be perfect in terms of condition. The back has a small dent- it is really very small but is emphasized in the photo due to the close up shot. No rust and no other type of damage. When the button is viewed from the side- i.e. viewing the thickness of the button, it can be seen that the celluloid has chipped on along that edge. Nice Large Domed Shape Camouflage Design Tight Top Celluloid Button
This old tight top celluloid button is domed shaped and measures about 1 1/2" in diameter and the design looks like camouflage to me. The button is in good shape for it's age and the only thing I see otherwise on the front is that when the light hits it a certain way. There seems to be a group of precise lines across it. These do not appear to be scratches and perhaps it was made that way and, as I said, only visible when light hits it a certain way.
