In reality. There are 16 buttons here, but four lost their purple rhinestone centers, however I found one of the centers in the bag in which these buttons came. I'll include the loose rhinestone with the buttons. The buttons are about 3/16" in diameter and the purple rhinestone is in the dark amethyst range. They were made in Czechoslovakia. Although the card they are on is so deteriorated, it impossible to read it. I have just listed these buttons in a black glass/clear rhinestone version and at least one of the cards had the"Made in Czechoslovakia" info. CONDITION: A few buttons show rusty spots on the their tops. I photographed one with the graphite tip of a pencil pointing to the spot. The buttons seem dusty and should probably be cleaned before usage.

12 Antique Hand Crochet or Tatted Small Covered Buttons for Child, Baby or Dolls
Over the next week or 10 days. I will be listing dozens of antique sewing collectibles from an extremely well known Denver Estate. All these items come from the heirs of the Tammen& Rippey estates. They were entrusted to myself to auction here on eBay. Now, imagine that teeny tiny doily covering a small button, front and back, from one piece. This group of buttons are truly amazing. This was no work of a factory, no these were made by Agnes Rippey herself and then near surgically applies within an antique button. I cannot imagine the work involved ... morein this. This auction is for a total of six(6) sweet handmade antique buttons which have been salvaged from a Victorian era bodice. They do not have a shank. But instead, are attached by the top of the button directly onto garment. They are all in very good condition and ready for one's project. These measure approximately 1/4" in diameter. Two of my favorite items from the Victorian era are paired together in this offer. Victorian Trade Cards were often collected by the women of this era and put into scrapbooks. They would often receive a colorful trade card at the local mercantile where they may have purchased buttons. RARE TINY DELICATE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 19th HDMD BUTTONS 4 PCS 3/16" DOLLS
This is for a total of(4) four buttons. This auction is for a total of four rare antique completely handmade buttons of the 19th century/Victorian era…they are much finer and delicate in thread and appearance than depicted in photos at a closer view. Any discoloration or thread wear is inherent with its age;they may possibly be 1860s. But not certain. I have never seen these before…when one looks at it closely by photo, it looks yarn-like in the center with a hint of pink threads, linen/cotton;it is very difficult to see when looking at it in person since it is of very fine thread. Please use"Zoom" feature for all fine details. All flaws will be more enhanced shown at a closer view, however, they are perfect for projects in which authenticity is desired.
