This washstand measures a total height of 30" Total width of 34 inches, a total depth of 17 inches, and weighs about 50 lbs. The white beveled marble top shows some light staining. The base has a storage drawer at the top with walnut knobs surrounded by raised bead molding. The storage cabinet below has double doors with recessed panels surrounded by picture framed bead moldings. This cabinet was from my parent's collection and stood for 50 years in their home amidst many antiques. This is a nicely carved marble top English washstand from about 1890. Including a large marble and carved top back-splash. This is handsome piece with a good patina, turned legs and a good sized stretcher underneath the two door cabinet which has a good amount of storage. Originally it would have held a pitcher and washbasin. This piece could be used for a bathroom or even an as an entry way piece for keys, mail etc. Either way it would look great in your home! Antique Victorian walnut washstand. In good condition. The marble has a few light scratches. Two light spots, no cracks, a few small chips to edges. The washstand is refinished walnut. Original fruit pulls, original hardware, dovetailed drawer, white marble top with splash back. It measures 30" wide, walnut case 28" wide, 30" high, 35" high with splash back, walnut case is 16" deep, 17" deep with marble. Please look at pictures carefully and email with questions.
