Scranton Attic. Antique Country Stepback Built-in Cupboard w/Wavy Glass Doors. Wow. What an amazing find! This beautiful. Antique, stepback cupboard was salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. It’s made of solid, heartpine, which is the heart stock of pine trees, and is a hardwood with great resistance to rot and warping/twisting. It has 2 swinging doors on top. Each with 2 wavy glass lites; and 2 swinging doors on bottom, each with 2 raised, vertical panels. In between the 2 sets of doors, there are 2 sliding drawers. All 4 doors and both drawers are equipped with original hardware. Originally. The cupboard was installed in a corner. The left and back sides were built into a wall, and the front and right sides was exposed. This is why there is no covering for the back, and the crown molding, shelf, and shelf molding extend past the ... morebody of the cupboard on the right side only. If you have other plans for it: use it as a standalone, not built in, or if you would like to squeeze it in between 2 walls or 2 other cabinets; we have people who could modify it to your specifications(see below) Condition/Restoration: Aside from the missing stile in between the 2 glass doors; the cupboard is strong and sturdy and only has cosmetic blemishes. Large Primitive Solid Pine Jelly Cupboard/ Pantry Country Cabinet
This is a fantastic cupboard. I would estimate the original age to be in the 1800's but I won't hazard a guess at which decade. There have been shelves added over time and a little extra crown molding up top. It measures 74 1/2" tall. 35" wide and 12" deep. The case has been reinforced with extra screws and nails and this stands straight and sturdy. It has marks that would be expected from dings and dents as well as some loss on the bottom from previous moisture issues, and I might have seen some old worm holes too. Local pick up is preferred. This is for a wonderful oak butlers or kitchen cabinet. It is 2 pieced Bottom and top. It is free standing and enclosed. but was made to be built in. It stands 8' tall and 4' wide and1.5' deep. It has very useful drawers for linens and silver ware and a huge glass door cabinet on top for your china and glass ware. The center area has a beveled mirror back for serving. It is very classical in it look with pillars with carved capitals. One capital is missing a curlyque. and carving on the bottom fronts where the colomns rest. The drawers do not have hardware. But that is easily bought online or from a reproduction company. There is one door without glass,but again easily replaced. This is for pick up only and would make a great addition in a new home being built or in the restoration of an older home.

This practical country cupboard is a product of early America. Possibly Pennsylvania, having been crafted in the last half of the 19th century. A solid, one piece cabinet, constructed in Pine with a shaped cornice. The upper section is set back, commonly referred to as a stepback, with three shelves behind paneled doors over a large horizontal working surface. With a paneled back. Primitive / Antique Pantry - Cupboard with Bird and Floral Scenery - Very Nice!
This piece was"re-done" by a local artist in 2004. As you can see from the pictures it has been done with great care to keep the original"feel" of the piece. They did have to add a modern backing to help with racking issues but the original backing is still there as well. It measures 78" High- 52" Wide and 26" Deep. Fantastic Antique Oak Chest Dresser Cupboard Double Hat Box Pantry Country Store
This is a wonderful antique oak chest. I am not sure what this chest was used for. I originally though it must be a double hat box dresser but it is constructed of boards that are 7/8" thick so it may have been used in a butler's pantry or country store. 43 1/2" wide x 19 1/2" deep x 4' tall Paneling on the front and sides; wainscoting on the back; original hardware. HUGE Antique MAHOGANY 3-Piece VICTORIAN CHINA CABINET CUPBOARD This antique 3-Piece Mahogany Victorian China Cabinet Cupboard when assembled stands approx 9-feet tall and 5 feet long with a maximum cupboard depth of approximately 18-inches. The upper China Cabinet section has double glass doors with TWENTY glass panes(all original except for two replacements) The lower Cupboard section has locking double doors with FIVE shelves. The third section is a detachable cornice that sits on the top of the china cabinet. The primary wood is Mahogany. Secondary wood is mixed. Dates from approximately 1860. Made in New England.
