This wonderful old wash stand cabinet has a spectacular multi-colored marble top with attached oak framed tiled back splash with lovely old off-white with yellow and green decoration tiles in two rows across the back and open cabinet space below behind the two lower doors is in very nice condition as shown in my multiple pictures from all sides. It has simple lines including it's long straight legs and paneled sides and travel easily in two pieces as the base and then the marble top with attached back splash. This delightful wash stand cabinet stands 41 3/4 inches tall to the top of the back splash frame and measures 413/4 inches wide by 19 inches front to back. Which is also not only it's longest and widest points overall but the dimensions of the lovely 3/4 inch thick marble top surface which is 31 inches above the ground when in place on the cabinet, the perfect height for that extra counter top work space in your kitchen. I doubt if the pulls are original as they really used their furniture on the farm, but the pull do look old too. Beautiful Antique Wash Stand With Mirror Made in North Carolina!
This antique wash stand was made in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It measures 34 inches tall to the top of the stand beneath the mirror. And it is 36 inches wide. The mirror has a few spots that have black showing through, but it is in otherwise good condition. It needs to be refinished, it is a great example of early 20th century furniture. The wood has some wear crazing and the marble top has some scratches on it. It measures 31" by 15 1/4" and is 27" high. There is a backsplash but there is no brackets to hold it up. Usual signs of wear as would be typical of a piece of this age. I've tried to photograph any dings or repairs. Look closely at photos. This piece is only available for pick up locally.
