Shows normal signs of age and wear to the old painted oak surface. The inside was painted long ago. And is fairly worn, so you may want to re-paint the interior. The door is slightly warped and sits a little proud at the bottom. There is a chip on the top at the very back in the corner which should not be visible when hung. Also some wear to the top surface as shown below. Not sure if the old porcelain knob is original or not, but it looks great. Smells like an old wood cabinet inside. This is a Mid 1800's 1/4 Sawn Oak 1 Piece Corner Cupboard in Original Restored Finish. This cupboard is hand made with original hardware. Hinges, key covers and Original glass doors, with original individually glazed window panes in the top part of the door. Cupboard also has a working lock with key. Original restored finish means this piece has not been stripped and refinished, just cleaned and restored so it still retains its beautiful warm color and patina only many years of age can produce. There are a couple small cracks at the top part of the doors, but they do not make the piece unstable, or detract from its value. This is expected with a piece of furniture from this time period. Up for auction. I have this great antique oak corner wall cabinet. I purchased this item at a local estate sale. The cabinet measures 22" tall and 12" from the back corner to each edge. It is triangular and made to hang in the corner by 2 loop hooks. It is constructed from oak wood and has two shelves plus the bottom. The original mirror is bevelled. Antique Oak HANGING CORNER CABINET over 2 feet tall
This is a wonderful piece. I Purchased it 15 years ago from a Downtown Charleston Home renovation. Solid oak. Stands approximately 28.25" tall. Depth is almost 12" Which is the minimal amount of corner clearing you need. Door swings by two hinges and will open all the way to a wall. The door is 19" x 13" It can be hanged either way where door opens to the left or to the right. The interior shelves are approximately 10.25" deep from back corner to the inside of closed door. Three stacked shelves are 6.75" 6" and 5.75" Interior paint is chipping and has some discoloration. The oak exterior is in good condition. The keyhole and knob look like they could be copper due to the patina. There are two places missing the wood beading. Rare Quartered Oak Bow Glass Corner Cabinet with Claw Feet
We usually buy'bigger is better' merchandise as you see in our selection but this little guy caught my eye and I had to buy it. We just completed a total restoration of it and it's perfect. Some of the details that are eye catchers are the pair of shaped beveled mirrors on the top and the bowed glass center door. It's quit narrow measuring only 22" straight out of the corner to the front and a total of 32" across point a-b on the front side and the height is still tall at 69" tall. It's a great example of a high quality scarce size corner cabinet that's very unique. We have restored it to the T and it retains all it's original glass and hardware. A fabulous find is this antique solid quartersawn and straight sawn oak cabinet with handsome designs of inlay on the door and around the drawers. Two of the three doors are false. However, the drawer area encompasses the entire area under the main cabinet and the bottom. The door has a fantastic inlaid shell design. The classic canted corners help display how beautiful the patina is on this old cabinet. The door to the inside is paneled and is chamfered on the inside. There are several shelves. Height to the top = 42" Width across the front = 24 3/4" Depth is 19" in the middle and 20 1/2" on each rear side. Canted corners are 4" each. Has been painted white as pics show. We used it in our store to display items. It stands 79" tall. 49" wide, 3 side or corner, measures 45 1/2" across front and shelf depth measures 18 1/2" As I show in my pictures bottom doors are present but do need to be attached if you wish. 4" piece of molding at bottom is loose. It is missing 4" piece molding piece at the top as I show you. This is as pictures show it to be. Great display for a store, can be refinished and top doors made if your looking for a project.
