Antique Primitive 2 Piece Step Back Cupboard
Offering a vintage hand made Mixed Soft wood stepback kitchen cabinet with two glass doors. I obtained the cabinet at an Estate Sale in Reedsville. Pa. Cabinet appears to have been made in the early 1900's which would be consistent with the style, construction, finish, hardware and with other items obtained at the sale. Picture 2 as it looks today in our kitchen. The top half features nice moldings and fancy gingerbread decoration and has all original period hardware drawer pulls and door hardware. The door frames have darker wood which enhances the appearance. Sweet Antique Country Pine Cabinet/Cupboard, Wall Hung, with 2 Shelves
This is a desirable shallow and plain antique country pine cabinet/cupboard with two interior shelves. Small enough to wall hang. It originated from England or northern Europe and was built around the middle of the 19 th century. I had it wall-mounted in my living room for many years. But have since downsized. The side seams show signs of age-related separating, but the cabinet is sturdy and not wiggly. I bought this from an antique store in San Anselmo. CA. In the 1990s. I love it, but don’t have a place for it anymore since I have moved. Measurements: H 24.5 inches W 17 inches D 11.5 inches Shipping weight with box and stuffing is approximately 25 pounds. This auction is one of many items purchased from a Guilford. Vermont Estate. This is one of four antique primitive cupboards we are offering. This cupboard has two doors with shelving inside. It looks to be a colonial greenish grey paint. This is structurally sound with no rot in the boards. Ready to go into your home for a wonderful country accent. This cupboard measures 39" wide including top molding. 14" deep and 4' tall. Due to the size it we would not be able to ship but we would provide appropriate wrapping for you to have a shipper pick up and we have used Greyhound for very inexpensive shipping. 2 pc Oak Step Back Mercantile/General Store/Apothecary Cupboard
Wonderful late 19th century early 20th century cabinet. This came out of a beautiful Meadville. PA estate. Step back cabinet is just under 8"L(95" and it's 85 5/8"H. The base is 25 3/4"D and 33 1/2"H. The top piece is 17 1/4"D. All doors are fully functional and slide on inset wheels/rollers on a track. The glass in upper doors appear to be original because the glass is wavy. The one side of the cabinet is finished nicely in raised panel oak. Other end must have abutted a wall because it's not finished in oak. All nine drawers are fronted in oak but the cavities are galvanized steel with wood on the back. The back of the cabinet is finished in sheet metal. This is a beautiful piece and could be used together or because the top piece is finished so nicely on the bottom and top you could separate it and ... moreuse the top piece as a bookshelf and the bottom piece as a kitchen island. All shelves and doors disassemble for easy transport. It is definitely a piece of local history and would look great in your home. These type of cabinets are getting harder to find especially in this beautiful condition.

A very large and impressive antique. Circa 1880's, cherry stained maple Chippendale style corner cupboard. It is two piece construction: cupboard with two arched doors having sixteen panels(fifteen with the original wavy glass. The crest is broken arch type with carved flower rosettes on scroll necks, three urn finials on fluted plinths. There is an incised diaperwork to the front above the doors. The interior has an ivory color paint. The cabinet below has a center drawer between two faux front drawers, with brass batwing brass pulls. The two doors below open to a compartment with a shelf. There are two carved scallop shells on the doors. The front has carved claw feet. The interior doors of the cupboard are stained mahogany. The furniture measures 8'7" 103" tall by 4'2" 50" wide by 20" deep, the three ... morecupboard shelves 17-1/4" deep at center. There's a drawer at the top which is fairly well hidden and runs the full width of the cupboard. Bottom section: 1 full length drawer with hand cut dovetails above 2 wood doors(the right door hinges were replaced at some point) the doors conceal 1 shelf on the left side and 4 interior drawers on the right side. It was good enough for one of New England's most prominent antique collectors and its good enough for us. We really thought long and hard if we should address that or not. Frankly we simply don't care about it but if you do we can have our woodworker address it. It would kind of be sad to change on single thing that belonged to this person. Behind the great doors are six adjustable shelves with plate groves. The base of the cabinet has two drawers on the light and a raised panel cabinet door on the right side containing one shelf. We can be pretty sure of this-you won't see another one of these. We truly should put a phone number on this piece and just stick to it but we are going to move it along at a very fair price. Feet are dovetailed. Hand forged lock on the base and door catch on the top. Hand chamfered on back. Door panels, and drawer bottoms. Drawer slides have been replaced.
