Antique Cherry Corner Cabinet, Chippendale, c. 1820
This is a wonderful antique Chippendale corner cabinet made from cherry. The top portion of this piece has a broken pediment top with a flame finial and dental molding. The original doors were probably blind doors converted to glass in the 1860-80s. The interior has four shelves with scalloped edges. The base has a double set of doors over bracket feet. The bottom portion has some replacements that date from the 1860-80s. We just moved the piece and I will add the measurements on Monday when I am back in the store. It is in excellent condition. Country Pine 1840 Antique Corner Cabinet. A tall country pine corner cabinet has a classic flat crown. It was hand crafted about 1840, and said to be from Pennsylvania. The finish is very well preserved with warm antique patina and lots of mars. Stains and wear for character. Waxed and buffed, it needs only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth to maintain its luster. Inside shelves have grooves to display plates behind glass panes in the door. The back is hand hewn and the top is attached with hand cut dovetail joints. Hand cut square nails are visible on this American made furniture. Here is a fantastic SC estate find.a two piece antique heart pine corner cupboard with all original brass hinges and brass escutcheon. This cabinet was surely made for a specific place in an old home and now it is ready for a new home! Construction is all mortise and tenon and pegged except for the rear boards are tongue and groove.with 1" by 10" heart pine boards and what appear to be rosehead nails. These back boards are continuously the same board from the top to the bottom of the cabinet. Height to top = 81" almost 7 feet) Height to top of base = 34" Length in front = 36" Length from back corner to center back = 32" Diagonal measurement from front to center of rear = 27" Since this is a corner cabinet and angles and other dimensions may be needed. Cherry Antique 1840's Corner Cabinet. Said to be from Pennsylvania. This solid cherry corner cabinet from the 1840's is entirely hand crafted. The old finish is very well preserved and has been waxed, needing only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth to maintain its warm patina. There are small mars and wear at the edges. Square nails. Reversed raised panels, hand planing marks and the hand cut dovetails in the drawer all show the expert work of a skilled cabinetmaker. Antique Hanging Corner Cupboard Cabinet Blue Paint Mirror Primitive SE PA to start a new paragraph use- This is a charming old"make do" fancy piece out of Southeastern Pennsylvania. It's a heavy piece and the frame looks to be constructed out of second hand hard wood crating boards; the boards are 3/4" thick. There is old paint on it. Looks to be several coats of paint on the front from over the years, none of them new. There is plaster molding trim framing the outside edges of the front and framing the door opening. That's what makes it a"fancy" make do piece) This piece is solid and sturdy. There is light chipping of the paint on the front exposing some of the plaster in the molding. And overall age to the painted surface, the door closes easily but there is a slight gap at the top, there are also some gaps ... morein the boards. The mirror is old and has some losses on the back, but all are small and it's perfect with this piece. The mirrored glass is beveled on one side only opposite the door handle and was probably taken from an old mirror. I'd never replace it. Fancy metal pull that was also painted over at some point. These type pieces are getting very hard to find and this came up in a small shop here in PA. It's a one of a kind. This is not a typical offering from us, but I just couldn't resist it. And it's been confirmed as fabulous from all the"ooooh and ahhhh" comments since I brought it home, even from members of my household who arent' into antiques so much. The unboxed weight is about 22lbs(shipping weight about 27lbs) Measures Approximately 27 inches tall, the front is 16 inches across, the two back side boards are 12 inches across forming a"V" in the back, the cabinet is 10 inches deep at the widest point from the center of the"v" to the front, with one small shelf inside. The bottom is flush, and this will stand on the floor as shown or could be displayed on top of a table or other piece you may have to complement it.

Antique Corner Cabinet, c. late 18th Century
This is a wonderful antique corner cabinet that dates from the late 18th Century. This is a carved solid wood piece. Not veneered. The top portion has a single door with 12 panes of glass. There are four interior shelves in this section and the fronts of the shelves are scalloped and have slots to hang silverware. This top section has a crown molding and reeded panels above the door and on either side. The bottom section has a set of double doors hiding two selves. This piece provides a huge amount of storage, as you can see from the pictures. This piece was hand made of walnut and measures approximately 83 1/2" tall, 42" wide and fits a 25 1/2" deep corner. This is a great diminutive hanging corner cabinet with kind of a folk art look. It is solid pine with nice old thick and decorative mahogany veneer. There are several shelves inside which will make for excellent corner storage. There is a geometric design to the paneled door as well as an inlaid wood escutcheon. The drawer is hand dovetailed and chamfered. Although there is only one drawer. It appears to have three due to the three original wooden pulls or knobs. the top is pine as are the rear boards. One of the rear pine boards is very wide at 17" There are new hanging brackets on the back at the top. At some point a block was added so that this cabinet could also be a freestanding unit. It does retain the original lockset and key. This is a fantastic antique Period American pine corner cabinet. This came out of an old New England house here on Cape Cod where it has sat for well over 140 years. It measures 79.25 inches in height so it will fit any house. The house that it came out of had the very low ceilings to conserve heat back in the 1800s. The cabinet is 56.5 inches wide in front so it is a wide cabinet and will hold a lot of items such as dishes and china. The windows have the original hand blown wavy glass panels in them. There are groove marks in the shelves so the plates will stand up in back. The exterior is a natural finish pine, ... morethe interior of the top has a lime green paint that was on it from a long time ago. Both the doors above and below have the original metal latch on the left side and the original locks on the doors on the right side, pictured. The cabinet was made with the old rosehead nails that were hand made back then. The back boards on back are all original and are approx.12 inches wide. The drawer is hand dovetailed. Old corner cabinet/cupboard from 1800's Vermont. Distressed painted wood. Two parts stack nicely. But are shown here with top mounted on wall brackets. The height of the base with the riser/backsplash thingy is 41-3/4" while he horizontal top surface of the base is 37" above the floor. The base projects about 24" out from the corner to the front or about 30-1/2" along the walls. The top piece is 38" in height and projects about 20-1/2" from the corner to the front or about 24" along the walls. So when stacked the pieces are about 80" high.

You are bidding on a rare hand made Bohemian one of a kind piece of folk art corner cabinet. This great piece was found in western Nebraska 30 years ago at a estate auction. I was told it was made for a Bohemian wedding present for the bride and groom and it was a old world custom. The applied flowers. Grapes and leaves are made out of pressed leather and tacked on with iron square tacks. The cabinet is marked on the door with a note that I can not make out, but is dated 1849. The cabinet is a hand built museum type one of a kind corner cabinet and most of the nails are iron square cut nail from the period. The cabinet stands 56" tall, 24" wide and 14" deep and has glass in the doors. This is great peice of folk art and would be a great addition to any collection.
