Although it is a very tall example. It is much more common to see a 6' tall piece. This style is also referred to as a noodle cabinet. The top overhangs on the front and 2 sides, and the vertical corner posts/ legs have rounded edges. All Sides taper and are wider at the bottom. The 2 tall doors are each divided into 4 panels. With each panel having intricate carvings. Their is a center post between the doors that is very easily removed to allow fuller access to the inside of the cabinet. Inside the cabinet is one pair of drawers and 2 shelves. Below the 2 doors are 2 drawers. And a caved apron under the drawers. As is typical with many of the antique Chinese pieces. Some of the hardware had been replaced. There is general wear that is typical for a piece this old, mostly on the legs as seen in the photos. This is a very unusual and beautiful piece. AMERICAN PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH SOLID WALNUT CORNER CUPBOARD CABINET CIRCA 1820
This is an antique Pennsylvania Dutch solid walnut corner cupboard with two glazed(glass) doors that dates to the 1820's. It is mostly original including the front and back. The back has 14" wide lapped pine boards with the appropriate saw markings and cut nails. There are some newer nails(probably late 1800's) added to supplement the original nails. The bottom and shelves are cut from single solid pieces of wood(17" wide) And the upper shelf has grooves cut into them to prevent the dishes from slipping when stood upright. It features hand-made crown moulding. Two glazed doors with six panes of original wavy glass in each and two solid lower doors. The glass is held in with putty. It has a wonderful scalloped lower apron and the original iron hinges. There is a single drawer in the front with wide bevel bottom and wide hand-cut ... moredove-tails. The wooden knob is held in place be a hand cut screw. Although the original wooden clips are still in place to keep the left upper and lower doors shut, there have been 4 magnetic latches installed inside to keep all doors closed. These can easily be removed if desired. I do not see any maker's marks on the piece at all, but what appears to be the name"Bolton" is written in chalk in cursive on the bottom of the cupboard. The cupboard stands 87" tall and fits into a 32" corner. It is 52" wide and 21-1/4" deep overall(at the crown moulding) And 49" wide and 19" deep. Circa 1860s? China cabinet
A circa 1860s I think. China cabinet. This is a family heirloom. I hate to sell but I need the money. This still has the original wooden casters and slots in the back of the shelves for displaying china. It also has the original curved glass on the sides but I recall the door glass being replaced in the 1960s. I'm unable to tell what kind of wood this is but the thing is very heavy. My mother was offered $1000.00 for it by a dealer in 1992 so I'll start the bidding there. Don't be afraid to ask any questions or ask for specific pics. The whatnot shelf in the background is from the same time period and may be listed later along with other antiquities. This is a local pick-up only and because of the curved glass. The buyer is responsible for removing it from my house and transporting it.

GREAT MINIATURE COLLECTORS CABINET IN GOLDEN OAK. FIVE DRAWERS AND THEY ARE LOCKED BY THE CENTRAL DRAW. The size is 12 inches tall. 10 inches wide and 7 inches deep. The central locking draw comes with a key but I dont think it is the original it works with some jiggery pokery. One or two of the brass handles will need attention as the come out of the fixing holders and one handle is missing allthough I will supply a replacement. The cabinet is in good used condition with no worm or rot. The dovetails are firm and solid. The lock was made by STONES the locksmiths of old. Up for auction is a early 1885 Oak Display Cabinet in French Provincial style. This cabinet features a set of curved bowed glass front doors flanked by a set of oval glass windows. There is both a key lock and a hook latch that secure both doors. The lower portion as viewed in the picture shows two wide shelfs and a large top draw that goes across the entire front of the cabinet. The cabinet measures 47 inches length by 20 inches in depth and 37 inches in overall height. The cabinet has been antiqued white with brushed gold gilt finish highlights. Period draw pulls. Antique General Store or Drug Store Display Cabinet Marble Trim Circa 1900's
You are looking at an old general store display cabinet. It is trimmed around the bottom with a marble kick panel. Most. If not all, of the glass is original. The 6th picture shows the scratches on the top glass. The top glass is in fairly bad shape, but it is the original beveled glass. The 7th picture shows the chip in the marble. The 8th picture is a view while standing at the cabinet and the chip barely shows. The 9th picture showing the hinged top that opens. On the 10th picture I show the very odd bottom of the cabinet. I don't know what it is for. It is rows of small holes. If you have any ideas what the display was originally for please email me. I point out all of the imperfections so there are no surprises. Fully fitted with perpetual calendar, inkwells, and a push-button sprung-loaded drawer. The Stationery Cabinet has an engraved plaque showing that it was given to Captain A.Onkler-Herryman of the 43rd light infantry, on his marriage, by the non-commissioned officers and men of his company. Words cannot describe the quality and detail in the beautiful hand carved piece of furniture. It can be used for many purposes: breakfast server. China cabinet, bar, bookcase, office secretary- use your imagination! 54" inches across, 20.5" inches deep and 91" tall. This was custom made for a French Chateau around 1880 like the one pictured in the last picture. At the time it would have been a small team of craftsman who would have made this. They would have went out to the woods to determine the best trees for quality work. It's obvious that this was a labor of love with all of the elaborate carving that was meticulously implemented. Circa 1890 Antique English Dark Mahogany Vestry Cabinet. A vestry cabinet was used to store vestments. Vessels, records, sacred objects& robes of the Church. Anything pertaining to the church including attire was stored in a vestry cabinet. This piece actually is 3 pieces. The top canopy is removable. Opens as if a secret place. The upper storage area is also a separate piece and then of course, the lower portion. This beautiful mahogany vestry cabinet is a dark wood. Brass levers, and magnetic closure(which need to be repaired or replaced) The top piece or canopy has an area as indicated in photo#11 where there is some splitting or separating of the wood. The interior of the canopy is is relatively good condition. The upper portion of the cabinet has two doors. The left door is secured from the interior and the right door is secured ... morewith a turn key lock. There appears to have been some repairs done to this piece as indicated in photo#3. The lower piece has door large doors. Both doors appear to have magnetic closures which need repair to secure the closing of the doors. The shelf has a large scratch. Beautiful Antique French Curio Cabinet which has been in our family for over three generations. Curved bow front. Mirror in the back with two glass shelves. Decorated in beautiful filigree pattern of brass( Stands about 55 inches tall on three delicate legs. Although the cabinet needs some restoration to the trim and wood due to age. ANTIQUE circa 1800s PRIMITIVE STEPBACK CABINET, CUBOARD, white, FROM KENTUCKY
This old cabinet is as real as it gets. It came out of Kentucky and I believe it dates to the mid to late 1800s. This old cabinet was more than likely made right at the farm by the man of the house to be used in the wife's kitchen. On the top it has ten drawers and two glass doors. The bottom has four drawers. A wood door and a potato bin. It is two pieces and both are heavy which makes me believe that underneath the paint might be oak. The two glass doors stick a little but aren't hard to open. The wood door is little loose because the hinges are old and the latch sometimes sticks. All but one of the drawers slide in and out well. The back bottom as you can see in picture 7 is metal. It measures right at, top 46 7/8" x 12 3/4" x 46 3/4" tall and the bottom measures 48 1/2" x 23 1/2" x 28 3/4" tall. Circa 1870s French Display Cabinet
Excellent condition 1800s French display cabinet. Piece is primarily black with many different types of wood grains and inlaid detail. Gold gilded accents and hand painted porcelain brooches adorn the facade. Original velvet lining in the display and drawers is still in tact and in excellent condition.
