MID CENTURY ATOMIC MOSAIC TILE TOP KIDNEY SHAPE AMOEBA COFFEE TABLE HAIRPIN LEGS
This is an antique vintage retro mid-century coffee table. It features a solid hardwood base. Hairpin legs, and a beautiful black pebble/ white micro square mosaic tiling. This style is often called: Atomic, Bio-morphic, Amoeba, Free Form, Kidney Bean, Boomerang and Eames style. I believe this was made approximately in the 1940's, 1950's or 1960's(at the latest) I know the Hair-Pin legs were first designed in the 1940's which is why I believe it could be that old. In any case, this is a very unique and quite intriguing coffee table. It measures approximately 10 inches high, 36 inches long, and 23 inches wide. The solid steel(I believe they are steel) Hairpin legs have some slight oxidization which in not very noticeable. The bottom of the table shows some ware/scratches and small light chipping. But the top seems to be in ... morereally nice shape! I didn't notice any major flaws! It is extremely gorgeous and I have never seen a table quite like this one! I plan to unscrew the legs from the bottom for the shipping process. If you wish for me to ship as is and NOT unscrew the legs, please let me know and I will adjust the dimensions and shipping price. Nice Old Antique Primitive Bottle, Lt Green, Unk Maker, Kidney Shape on Panel?
Here's another very nice old or antique bottle from among the small collection we've been listing from for the past week or two. This one has some primitive design styling and probably is from the 1860's to 1880's. It has no makers name shown or embossed but there are some clues to help out those who collect. It is a good sized bottle in a light green tint with relatively thick glass construction. It has a thick lip and the body has 4 recessed panels in it's design. One of these panels. Or the front panel, has further decoration in that it has a raised design in either the shape of a kidney or the shape of a"C" as the picture show. The bottle has some small raised dimples in two places. They are arranged in a straight line in one of the side panels and they are arranged somewhat randomly within the Kidney or"C" ... moreshape on the front of the bottle. We think these dimples were made this way to help secure paper labels to these two spots when the bottle was originally made. The C could be for Cod Liver Oil or Castor Oil I suppose, although the bottle being for Kidney medicine probably is a good shot as well. The bottle has no chips or cracks to note. It is relatively clean but bottle enthusiasts will probably decide to clean it a little more as there are some small areas of dirt film in the tough to clean areas. The bottle stands about 8 inches tall, is about 3 inches wide and about 1.75 inches deep. Nice medium to large size colorful antique bottle. That's about it. The pictures should be helpful to those having interest. We'll start this antique bottle low so enjoy the auction. We'll pack this carefully. When packed this will weigh about 1.75 lbs so we'll use USPS Parcel Select service as the lowest cost postal alternative to the buyer. We have no packing or handling charge. Bottle or Small Decanter Label dated 1912 This Antique Decanter or Bottle Label measures approximately 2 1/4 inches or 54 mm in length from the base of the label to the top of the chain when it is hanging by just under 1 1/2 inches or 3 8 mm across the width of the label from side to side and it is 7/ 8 of an inch or 22 mm deep from the top edge of the label to the bottom edge of its body. The bottle or decanter label is made from sterling silver in a slightly concave or rounded kidney shape with a silver chain that hangs from either side of its top edge and the label has been engraved with the scripted word WHISKY across the front. It has Not been engraved with a previous owners initials or family monogram all as photographed below and the lower front of the label has been impressed with ... morea full set of English solid sterling silver hallmarks that read as follows, J.G& S- Anchor- Lion Passant- n J.G& S is the Birmingham silversmith or makers mark of John Grinsell& Sons. Personally I think that this antique Whisky bottle or noggin label can still be used today and that it would make a superb addition to any collection, I also think that it looks fantastic considering that it's over 100 years old. Description Here for your consideration is a Beautiful. Vintage Archimede Seguso Italian Art Glass Bowl. It is a Kidney-Shaped Sommerso(sunken layers) Pulegoso(bubbles) which appears greyish white on the outside with a layer of black/purple glass on the inside and gold flecks. The inner dark layer appears black, but becomes a gorgeous purple when lit up and the outer bubble layer seems to glow. I attempted to capture this in the photos, but they do not do it justice. It is absolutely stunning in person. The bowl measures about 6 1/2" long. 4 1/2" across and 2 1/2" tall. It is very thick and heavy, weighing 3 pounds before packaging. Chaise furniture manufactured March 2009 in the style of Vladimir Kagan This is a high end and very well made piece of furniture that I obtained from an interior designer friend. I had it upholstered 5 months ago in quality coconut-colored fabric with palm or lime green piping and then we moved to a smaller place where I have no room for it. The coconut fabric is textured like a coconut but soft and comfortable to the touch. The green piping is a narrow wale corduroy. It looks well with modern style furniture and can also match up with lanai tiki looks. It is very comfortable. I have other Mid Century Modern items listed and more on the way. This is a hard to find kidney table with a groovy tile pattern and the swirl or marbleized color looks awesome. Who doesn't remember these from their childhood they were such a part of the 1960s and now very collectible. This has normal wear but no chips or cracks. This will look great in any home or office. Antique Kidney Shape Ottoman Covered in Canvas Leather
This antique Kidney Shaped Ottoman is eye catching. Very good condition for it's age. Came from one of the older homes in my small Texas town. The fringe is 10 in long. I don't know how the fringe is attached. The dusty rose colored material looks like leather. But I think it is the old canvas leather used so frequently back in the late 1800's and early 1900's. A leather like substance applied to canvas material. Have seen this fabric on old suitcases and boxes. Has an"old" smell as it has been in storage, but not overwhelming. The ottoman is about 16 inches tall, about 26 inches long, and the top measures 11 inches wide. The button on the back is missing. KIDNEY SHAPE EMESIS BASIN WHITE/BLUE& BLUE HANDLED POT VINTAGE GRANITEWARE 2 pieces of vintage collectible graniteware. White with blue trim kidney shape graniteware from the 1940's used in the medical field. Called an emesis basin. New metal ones are approximately $15. Condition is very good, a couple chips of white enamel gone on the bottom. Size 8" by 4" Creamy grey blue pot or dish with handles on the side. Black trim at the rim and handles. Condition is very good on the outside with use on the inside. There's a dozen pings inside where graniteware is gone plus a stain where it was used for something. Still in wonderful shape for it's age 1940's. Size 7 1/4" round. With handles 9 1/4" by 3" tall. The box. Stuffing and the 2 pieces weigh about 2 pounds. Thank you for stoppin' by!

Vintage Ceramic Mid Century Kidney shape Ashtray Brown with Snowflake motif
Please read my Policies section before bidding. Great Condition Mid Century Ashtray This ceramic ashtray is a rust color with a dappled glaze. It's a little more vibrant than I could capture in the pictures. The first picture is closest to it. Snowflake motif(which has kind of a Native American feeling to it) with primary color dots in each snowflake. The glaze is slightly lighter in one area(next to the blue snowflake. Please see pictures) this probably happened in firing. 10 3/4" long x 8 3/4" wide x 1 1/2" high No signs of wear. Chips or cracks. No makers mark. Really nice piece for the Mid Century collector! We have a beautiful mid century Hawaiian Koa wood bowl up for auction. This kidney shaped bowl is about 14 1/4" long. 9 3/4" wide and 2 3/4" deep. The bottom of the bowl is signed Blair, Hawaii, Koa Wood. The bowl is in very good condition with some minor scratching on the bottom.
