It has a width of 49.5" ... moreand a depth of 31.5" The kneehole height is 27.25" to the bottom of the cross board and the width is 29" The bottom section of the desk has four small drawers on the right side with a pullout writing surface above it. The right side has two small drawers above a larger file drawer. The divider board in this drawer is broken. There is also a pullout writing surface abov this bank of drawers. Only one of the other six drawers has a divider section in it. The remaining pieces are missing. There is a locking mechanism on the bottom section. It is a little sticky. All of the drawers have decorative fan style handles made from wood. The top section has various sized cubbies and only one drawer. There are two pencil trays that hang at the center and the section above these trays pulls out to reveal hidden trays as well. The roll top on this is in great condition and slides up and down smoothly. This section also locks with the original key. There is a vintage metal pencil sharpener attached to the top right side of this. There are age and use appropriate imperfections. Scratches, dings, and dents on this that enhance the character. There is what appears to be an inkk stain on the top and there is also some stains in the drawers. There is also age darkening to the wood. The owner restored it himself. By restored he means that he merely cleaned it and then put the clear? finish on it. So this desk has never faded or worn. I love it and think it very special. 54" wide by 32" deep by 50" tall. Dating from about 1880. This very well constructed"S" curve roll top desk is solid maple and oak. Paneled all around. The rich lustrous finish is in excellent condition. The roll glides smoothly and has a lock(lost key) Inside are small cubicles. Drawers, and pencil holders. Deep dovetailed drawers include a file drawer. Two pull out shelves offer extra workspace on this classic American made antique furniture. Measurements are 54" wide. 32" deep, 50" tall.
