The secretary is in fair condition, and unfortunately has ... moresome issues. The shelves are loose within the bookshelf / Vitrine section and also within the secretary slant front portion, but the glass is intact within the door. The secretary has an amazing custom cut beveled mirror with a 1-inch bevel, that is on the top at the right side and lovely carved details and applied accents all throughout. The backing on the mirror is a bit loose, but this should be an easy fix. The piece is lockable, however, there is no key with it. It also has the original metal hardware, which is absolutely incredible and ornate as well. There is a lot of light staining and wear as well as scratches and dings to the finish.

Anyway this is a score and I'm proud to offer this for your consideration. I believe this is a No 17 model desk and it is truly in very nice condition with no signs of repairs or break except the bottom drawer has a minor glue in corner. The finish is very good as the pictures should show off and the original key works fine and all hardware is original and working perfectly. It is nice and sturdy a sets flush with no wobbles. It measures 47" tall x 30" wide x 17" deep. The back is not beautiful with the white wash but the original Larkin labels are present and in good shape. Once again Greyhound Express is great and should ship this for about 90 west coast and 70 east. As long as you can pick it up. Local pick up is always option too and I now have a utility trailer and can deliver within reason. ORNATE BRASS BEVEL MIRROR KNIGHT RENAISSNACE? w/CATCH-ALL AWESOME
This table top mirror is absolutely fantastic! I do not know how old it is or where it was made. It stands a little over 10" tall with the base 7.5" wide at the widest part. The mirror is beveled and measures 6" x 3 1/4" There is a tiny scratch near the bottom. The mirror can be removed and is also adjustable. The frame and base are brass and beautifully detailed as seen in the photos. There is a knight's head at the top. The rectangular'catch-all' measures 3 1/4" x 1 1/8" x almost 3/4" deep. I will have more pictures tomorrow. It is in wonderful condition!

Vintage Antique Metal Bathroom Medicine Cabinet Chest Cupboard Bevel Mirror We remodeled the bathroom in our 1928 bungalow and removed this metal medicine cabinet. I'm certain it was original to the house. It has peeling paint everywhere. and it has rust showing through paint in other locations. But the door swings, shuts, and clasps with no problem. The bevel glass mirror is in surprisingly good condition(as you can see in the photos) I am including three glass shelves. Two of the shelves appear to be original. The third shelf is a replacement. One of the original shelves has a chipped edge(as shown in the photos) Exterior front measurements: 18.75" wide by 22.75" tall. The face frame is about 1.5" thick. The depth of the inside of the cabinet is 4" The recessed part of the cabinet is 15.75" wide by 19.75" ... moretall. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN OAK / CHESTNUT FRAME w/ BEVEL GLASS MIRROR - GOOD CONDITION
ANTIQUE VICTORIAN OAK/ CHESTNUT FRAME WITH BEVELED MIRROR IN GOOD CONDITION. Frame is circa 1880’s. Outer measurements of the frame are approximately 24 ½ inches by 28 ½ inches. With an opening for the mirror of 16 inches by 20 inches. Frame contains a bevel beveled glass mirror. With about 1 inch of the bevel visible on all 4 sides. The mirror glass is in good condition– maybe not the original one in this frame– probably replaced many years ago. The oak/ chestnut was refinished many years ago– if you see photo of back you can see the dark original color. The finish is good– a nice dark honey color. Which shows off the graining of the wood. There are a few small chips in the oak– see my pictures. There is a narrow line– crack in one of the inside sections of the frame– about 3 inches long. And you probably won’t even find it. There ... moreis a narrow row of gesso carving on all 4 sides. The original gold tone liner is around the opening for the mirror. But there are some chips in it that were covered over when the gold was retouched. Looks good on the wall, but up close you can see the touch-ups on the gold. See my pictures. Frame with contents weighs just about 12 pounds before any packing materials. Old cardboard backing for the mirror. Frame is good and solid– corners are tight. No wiggle. ALL SALES FINAL. All the wonderful bronze ormalu decorations are intact and magnificent. The Italian marble is very outstanding as well and in excellent condition. There were two(because I felt them) fleabite and I mean tiny.nicks on the edge. They are not noticable to the eye. Other than that the marble top and two flanked panels of marble are all intact, NO cracks or stain, etc.they are very nice. The three doors all have original locks. The doors are elaboratly carved. Beautiful Bevel Edged Pewter Mirror With Chain. Art Nouveau Detail Lovely Item On offer is this beautiful pewter mirror with detail to corners and the top. Please see below for many more photographs. Measuring approximately 23¾" x 17" wide. There is a chain to the back for hanging. The back has had tape applied to it at some stage of it's life. All the way across the whole of the back. If you look carefully at the photographs of the fittings which hold the chain to the frame, you will see the edges beneath the tape, this is what appears to be soft lead, it folds and can be bent. The pewter itself is in lovely condition, again, there is rubbing through to bare metal which can be seen at the back of the mirror frame but not the front. There is a little foxing to the bottom of the mirror. Please see photographs for detail. ... moreThere is a tiny spot near the middle of the mirror also photographed below. I bought 2 wonderful mirrors in 1973 at an Antique Shop in Bath. England. Selling the small one keeping the large one. I have moved into a small senior apartment and have to downsize"some" This style is charming. Delightful cabbage roses, flowers and leaves. The term"barbola" refers to an ornamentation. Usually flowers, made from a soft clay. The soft clay is made with Barbotine. The mirror itself measures 6 inches round. With a deep bevel over a half inch wide. The mirror has some darkening around the perimeter from age. photo 4 Photo 5 shows light cracks on the top of the barbola flower arrangement. From age and settling. This is an Art Deco blue mirror. Eight-sided polygon, measuring 16” by 9” by 1/4” thick. The edge is only slightly beveled with the bevel polished to a satin finish. It has old green felt on the back which protected the dresser or table and which possibly causes the mirror image to be a bit hazy. However. This may be typical of blue mirrors. See photos. I have photographed one corner nick and one place with a bit of silver loss at the edge. But overall you will see the remaining edges have minimal wear and there is only miniscule wear on the glass surface itself. Will ship double boxed and insured.

Antique Edwardian Art Nouveau Bevel Mirror Carved Hardwood Framed Aston England
This is a Beautiful Antique Edwardian Art Nouveau Bevel Mirror in Carved Hardwood Framed. Made in England by Aston& Sons Ltd. The original maker's plaque on the back is shown in a closeup photo. The mirror was originally mounted on a small dresser or similar piece. As found. It has a picture wire for hanging as a beautiful wall mirror. With its small to medium size it is an extremely versatile piece and it would be a great piece of decor in a bedroom, family room, living room, bathroom, foyer, or as a focal point at the end of a hallway. The frame has a beautiful carved crown in high relief. The wood has a wonderful patina with a very warm glow. It is definitely hardwood. But we do not know what kind specifically. It could likely be a fruitwood or nutwood. It does not appear to be mahogany, walnut, oak, nor maple. The beautiful mirror ... morehas a wide bevel. There are a couple of condition issues noted below. The overall maximum dimensions are 22 1/2" x 17" x 1 1/2" The framed mirror weighs 7 1/2" so you need to provide secure mounting. Especially if mounted on drywall, and a minimum of two hangers would be very advisable. Condition Frame The frame is overall in wonderful condition as you can see from the photos with just a couple of issues to note: a couple of very minor nicks or scrapes on the wood. Many on edge surfaces. on each side panel is the outline of the dresser mounting hardware. And the attendant screw holes. One side is shown in a closeup photo Mirror The mirror looks great. But it does have a couple of fairly minor condition issues: around the edges. There are several spots of missing silver. These are right at the edge and are not very noticeable. on the interior. There are some very light scratches on the silver. If you look carefully at the main photos, you can pick some of these out. RARE Antique French Jeweled Compact Filgree Dance Purse W/ Tassel Bevel Mirror
Beautiful old jeweled compact purse marked France on back I see no missing stones. Inside has beveled mirror with powder compartment still has a bit left in it you can see on inside mark from lip stick. Fabulous detail to this measures 10 1/2 in. long from top of chain to bottom of tassels compact alone measure 3 in. x 2 in. Resent estate purchase will need cleaned up, no damage at all.
