Here is an absolutely gorgeous antique mahogany desk with lovely burl mahogany veneer and border design inlay. Circa 1940 and American made. This is a Governor Winthrop style slant front desk with drawers. The desk stands 43 inches tall and measures 38 inches wide by 21 inches deep, front to back. The writing surface itself is 36 inches wide by 21 inches, front to back and within the desk itself there are 16 small drawers and an additional cubby with lovely inlay door as shown in my photographs. There are four large drawers below the desk, each 31 1/2 inches wide and 18 1/4 inches front to back and then 2 3/4, 3 3/4 4 3/4 and six inches deep respectively, in descending order.
