Anyway this is a score and I'm proud to offer this for your consideration. I believe this is a No 17 model desk and it is truly in very nice condition with no signs of repairs or break except the bottom drawer has a minor glue in corner. The finish is very good as the pictures should show off and the original key works fine and all hardware is original and working perfectly. It is nice and sturdy a sets flush with no wobbles. It measures 47" tall x 30" wide x 17" deep. The back is not beautiful with the white wash but the original Larkin labels are present and in good shape. Once again Greyhound Express is great and should ship this for about 90 west coast and 70 east. As long as you can pick it up. Local pick up is always option too and I now have a utility trailer and can deliver within reason. I could not find any markers markings but I am guessing from other items in the house of this estate sale it is Danish and probably from the 60's or 70’s. It is of smaller proportions making it ideal for a smaller room. The approx. measurements are: 3’ 6½” tall/ 2’ 11” across the front and is 1’ 5¼” wide. There are a couple of very small little marks or bumps but nothing major and overall it is in Very Good used condition. This Would Be A Very Stylish Addition To Any Home! Meubles RINCK" is an entity specializing in high end furniture inside the RINCK group. The desk is 52" wide x 27" deep x 30 1/2" high. The underside is stamped with the maker's mark by M. Rinck and the seal of"UNION NATle INDUSTRIE FRANCAISES DE L'AMEUBLEMENT" The 3 drawers all lock with a deadbolt and each have their own key. The two outside drawers measure 10 1/2" wide X 20" deep X 3" high with the middle drawer measuring 15 1/2" wide X 21" deep X 3" high. This desk was my father's pride and joy. My earliest memories of it date back to the 1970s when we lived in NYC and it was in his private study. It is in excellent condition with signs of use on the burgundy leather working area on top which also has a couple of stains. A competent furniture restorer can easily replace this leather piece but I would order a replacement directly from Rinck to preserve the desk's heritage. The following information was supplied by Rinck in reply to my recent email inquiry regarding the desk's provenance: Dear Sir, I can confirm that desk is coming from our company and Parisian work shop. I can not be more precise about the year. Because all client's files are archived, but: It is a Louis XV style desk, traditionally manufactured with a solid oak structure, with mortaises and tenons joined, hand dovetail joins for the drawers, black lacquered finishing, ornate with sand casted, chiseled, and ormolu set of bronze. The round UNIFA stamp on the underside of the desk is there to assure the desk has respectability and was constructed to the standards of the Professional Union. The UNIFA stamp also confirms your desk is from the period between 1960 and 1980. Because after it would have been stamped"Groupement ébénisterie d'art" As Rinck at this period was only working on

For your consideration, this fabulous and very impressive Tall Victorian Rococo Flame Mahogany Secretary with Arched Bookcase ... moreTop(Circa: 1860) This gorgeous two-piece Secretary weighs approximately 170 pounds and measures 102 ½” in total height(from the floor to the arched top of the crown) 44 ¼” in width, and 20 ½” in depth. The three adjustable shelves each measure 9” in depth and 41 ¼” in width. This is truly one of the most beautiful Victorian Secretaries of its kind that we have had the privilege to offer. You will notice that there is some faint writing on the back of the piece(see the e-Bay photo) that probably indicates either the maker or the person for whom the piece was made. From what we can see it is signed M. Hall, Hannibal, MO. The details on this Secretary are absolutely wonderful! This beautiful Secretary is constructed of mahogany. And flame mahogany over a secondary wood and the details are exquisite! The bookcase top is graced with a beautiful open arch top with a lovely center foliate carved pedestal that is surrounded on each side with elegant applied scroll land leaf adornments. The bookcase top doors have wavy glass that appears to be original. And three adjustable shelves. The doors have arched tops with picture frame moulding around the original glass and carved foliate escutcheons. The right door has an intact lock and a decorative(non-working) key is included to assist in opening the doors. Also. You will note that there is a small, insignificant scratch on glass in the lower corner of the right door which in no way impacts the beauty or integrity of the original wavy glass. The bottom slant front desk door of the Secretary is graced with luscious flame mahogany veneer, has a fancy brass key escutcheon along with an intact lock with working key.
