Stemmed Art Nouveau compote has deep, wheel cut floral decoration painted with strong, colored enamels and backed with heavy gold. This creates a depth to the color that is just superb! It is a heavy crystal that has a long, bell like ring when lightly tapped. The long stem has 6 hand cut facets that are zipper cut along the edges. It is not marked, so I can't be sure who made it. I think it's probably Austrian or Bohemian. Perhaps Lobmeyr or Moser. Size- It is fully 12" Tall and the bowl is 7.25" in diameter(30.5 x 18.4 cm) It weighs 1 lb. 14 oz. Stunning Pair of Matching Cut Crystal/Glass& Metal Compotes I cannot put into words how incredibly gorgeous these are. Estate sale purchase. So age& history are unknown, though they look to be quite old. I do not know if the bowls are cut glass or crystal, but they are lovely& refract light beautifully. They also have a beautiful ringtone when tapped. The cast metal pedestals are very ornate and have the look of aged brass. Each one has 7 teardrop crystal prisms. The pedestal sits atop an Italian marble base. It measures 9-3/4" tall. The bowl is approximately 9" in diameter& 4" tall. They are quite heavy, weighing 6 lbs 2 oz each. Vintage Embossed Clear Glass Pedestal Compote Dish/ Metal Base GIM#3027 In EXCELLENT CONDITION! No cracks. Chips or anything of this nature! This piece is large enough to be used as a fruit bowl and small enough to fill with candies or nuts without looking out of place. The top rim is smooth as well as the interior. The exterior is embossed with pretty designs that reflect the light and colors of anything added beautifully although I do not believe this is crystal. I am pretty certain it is pressed glass. The interior bottom has a flat head screw that tightens the metal base to the glass. The ornate base appears to have a brass finish. I have wanted to actually paint the base white and distress it however I decided to leave it in its original condition in case anyone prefered all portions of this compote original. It measures about 6-7/8" ... morein height x 10-5/8" in diameter along the top rim. This piece weighs just about 3 lbs 8 oz(packaging weight not included) It is a beautiful piece and is clean and ready for use! Artfully designed in early Art Nouveau form. We have an elegant Hobbs Brockunier compote. Produced circa 1880, this Early American Pattern Glass(EAPG) pattern is called“Tree of Life” The clear glass, scalloped bowl resembles branches of a tree in bloom. The bowl is held by a frosted pedestal depicting a graceful woman’s hand which is molded to a frosted base. There is a smooth chip at the bottom of the pedestal. Feels like a concaved bubble. There are no other cracks, chips or flaws. Acquired from an estate in Upstate New York. We are pleased to offer this lovely piece of history to you. Porcelein Compote and Lid from AMC Germany
Thia beautiful compote with matching lid has a vibrant floral pattern around the edge of the bowl top and the edge of the lid. It also has what appears to be hand-painted gold handles on each side as well as a gold hand-painted top. These areas where the gold is are worn from use. The compote and lid are in good condition. There are no visible chips or cracks. This piece has some wear from use. It measures 10 1/2" across and 7" tall. Including the lid and top handle. It has an octagon shaped bottom, but the top part is round. It is a unique piece and would make a nice addition to any table setting.

I have painted tiny fall flowers on all four sides within the band. I found these small fall leaves in Michaels and they look as if they were made for this piece. Solid brass base for what is apparently a compote piece. I admit I am no expert. But ion looking at other listings, this fits the description. The base is in great vintage condition- the brass has the old patina. It is setup up for 10 double crystals. But two have been lost over the years, and it only bears 8. These crystals are pretty readily available, and if you need the two, my friend who is much more into these things has many crystals which would match. The base measures 7" high. And 5" in diameter. Stunning Cut Crystal/Glass& Metal Compote Photos do not do it justice! Estate sale purchase. So age& history are unknown, though its looks to be quite old. I do not know if the bowl is cut glass or crystal, but it is lovely& refracts light beautifully. It also has a beautiful ringtone when tapped. The cast metal pedestal is very ornate and has the look of aged brass. The pedestal sits atop an Italian marble base and has 7 teardrop crystal prisms. It measures 9-3/4" tall. The bowl is approximately 8" in diameter& 4" tall. It is quite heavy, weighing 6 lbs. I could not find any flaws or damage. I accept payment through Paypal within 3 days of close of auction. This is a beautiful antique gold gilded brass Eagles footed art glass pedestal compote or urn or vase. Including the Eagles. It measures 9 1/4 inches tall(23.5 cm) Without the Eagles, it measures 8 3/4 inches tall(22.2 cm) The glass section measures 4 1/2 inches tall(11.4 cm) The bottom brass part also measures 4 1/2 inches tall(11.4 cm) The top opening is 3 1/4 inches wide(8.3 cm) Measuring from one corner of a foot to another corner of a foot it's 3 5/8 inches wide(9.3 cm) The glass is frosted and has great-looking tiny ovals all over. I don't know how this effect was created. The handles are highly detailed Eagle heads. The base has beautiful detail also. Including the 4 feet. I don't think it's bronze because it's not heavy enough. So it must be brass. But the intricate detail is wonderful. The rim around the top of ... morethe frosted glass has a very slight bend in it(please see photo) There is a slight chip when you take it apart where the brass meets the glass. But it's inside and doesn't show when you screw the little piece of brass back that connects the base with the glass(please see photo) There is also a small chip where the top of the glass meets the brass. But it's on the inside. However. You can see it if you look at it from a certain angle(please see photo) It has a great old rich patina to it. Surprisingly. It's not marked with a company name. Antique Bohemian cut crystal floral tazza compote Moser
This lead crystal compote or tazza is 8 3/8 inches tall and 6 ¼ inches in diameter on the top. The tazza is wheel cut on the underside and gilded in a floral pattern. There are cut facets on the bottom that have been gilded. It is superb work. It is hand blown. The piece dates to the late 19 th or early 20 th century. It is unsigned but was made by Moser or another top quality maker. There are no chips. Cracks or repairs but there is a wear to the gilding on the top edge and to the strip near the bottom.

Vintage retro Farber Bros Art Nouveau Deco Era sugar and creamer Amethyist MINT Brothers Louis and Harry Farber were born in Russia in the late 19th century and immigrated to the United State just after the turn of the 20th century. Louis and Harry began working for S. W. Farber. Their older brother who sold products under the name Farberware. In 1915 they formed their own company, using the trade name Farber Brothers Krome-Kraft. Many collectors mistakenly believe that Farberware and Farber Brothers are synonymous, but despite the fact that all three were brothers, there was in fact no relationship between the two companies. Farberware is still in business today. Louis and Harry decided to make hollow-ware and brass products that they could sell at competitive prices in the market, a business concept that was successful for nearly fifty ... moreyears. Farber Brothers patented their famous clip-on, clip-off holder in 1932, which helped the company grow rapidly. The invention entailed a stand or base that held china inserts, which could be inexpensively replaced if the glass chipped, cracked or broke. Louis Farber purchased the Sheffield Silver Company in 1935, and continued to operate it separately from Farber Brothers, producing the patented holders in sterling and silver-plate, with glass inserts. Even though the Sheffield pieces had a different logo mark, the Farber Brothers design is quite obvious. Sheffield holders and inserts are coveted by collectors. By the 1950s, as Farber Brothers’ famed non-tarnishing chrome holders went out of style, brass versions were introduced to try and compensate for lower unit sales. The brass models sold well but only for a brief period and overall sales continued to decline until 1965, when the company shut down operations. Sheffield Silver continued operating until 1973, when Reed and Barton purchased the company, ending the Farber Brothers fifty year legacy. Lovely EAPG Button & Daisy Scalloped Edge Compote or Footed Centerpiece Bowl
This auction is for a Lovely Early American Pattern Glass Compote or Footed Centerpiece Bowl. It is in a Striking Button and Daisy and scalloped edge pattern. I am not certain of the pattern name or the maker. By its form and feel. It appears to be EAPG. It is in good overall condition. There are several small areas in the upper wall with scratches(last photo) and the scalloped edge in the middle of the piece has some roughness to the edges as is expected from a EAPG pattern like this. The piece stands about 7 3/4 inches tall and is about 7 inches wide. The glass is very clear. Especially at the vertical pedestal. This auction is for a lovely. Heavy gold leaf& opaque white glass bowl compote. It has been used for chocolate truffle compotes and fruit salads, even potato salad, along with another one I will be listing today also. It measures 10-3/4" in diameter by 6-5/8" from top to bottom. The pictures should be descriptive enough as to it's decorative state. It weighs 4 pounds without anything in it. It also would make a lovely centerpiece for ornaments, fruit, or greenery and a large candle. I've pictured this item upside down for I have large glass platters/chargers/plates that I put on top of it for serving items as turning bowls and such upside down gives height to what you are serving as well as creates space for other items that may not fit on the table otherwise. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ETCHED CRYSTAL COMPOTE / PEDESTAL CENTER BOWL FLORAL
This is a charming lead crystal piece that I think dates pre-1900. Although it could be later.but no later than the 1920's I think. The bowl part is on an unusually long stem. The whole piece measures 8-1/4" tall; the bowl is 6" in diameter. The bowl is etched in flowers and leaves. The bottom has an repeated oval design. It appears the rim may have once had gold trim. Condition is very nice. The top of the bowl rim is smooth. Just under the rim. There two very small chips. If I can answer any questions. Please feel free to contact me.

Antique French empire dolphin footed compote stand Lake Lomond 1873
This compote or footed stand is done in the Empire style. The stand is 5 5/8 inches tall and 9 ¼ inches in diameter. The stand is quite ornate with gilded dolphins as part of it. The piece is hand painted with a scene of Lake Lomond on the top. The edge has an ornate beaded decoration. The bottom is signed with“The head of loch Lomond” and 1873. There are no other marks.
