This is an awesome matching pair of antique brass. Cut leaded crystal& marble compotes, each featuring a cherub/angel riding a dolphin. On top of a square carrera marble base. Both pieces are in very good condition for their age. The total height of each piece is 7 1/2" The bowl has a 5 1/2" diameter. The marble base is 4" squared. Vintage BRASS PEDESTAL BASE with CUT CRYSTAL COMPOTE& 7 TEAR DROP CRYSTAL PRISMS WOW! Look at this. It's such a beautiful piece. The condition is really good, the brass shows slight wear from age. I did wipe it down once but it will need a deeper cleaning. The pattern has flowers that feel etched out, the diamonds with star and waffle patterns have pressed leaf spikes going up above it and are in between the 4 flowers. There is a saw tooth rim around the top. It has a nice heavy weight to it at 5 lbs. 9 oz. without packing materials so I'll list it as USPS Parcel Post to save money on shipping. The height is 8 3/4" tall x 7 1/2" wide at the top and one side of the triangle base is 6 1/2" wide. A really nice vintage item to add to your collection. Payment: We accept PayPal. Cut glass and brass compote with 7 crystal prisms. Measures: 8 1/2" in diameter and 9" tall. The prisms are 2" tall and very heavy. This is an elegant heavy cut crystal with a saw tooth edge. The heavy brass base holds 7 crystal prisms. Absolutey stunning! No chips. Cracks, or repairs with the exception that one prism has tiny scratch on the octagon and teardrop. ANTIQUE ITALIAN PRESSED GLASS MARBLE BASE COMPOTE BOWL 2 BRASS CANDLE STICKS
This was a beautiful estate sale find. Pressed glass pinwheel style with two matching candle holders. Each piece has eight sets of teardrop prisms except the bowl. It's missing one set. But they seem to be easy enough to find. I haven't done anything to them but take their pictures. The bowl stands 9 1/4" tall and 8 1/4" wide. The candle holders are 8" tall and 5" wide. They have no chips or cracks that I could find. With a little TLC these beauties can be the centerpiece of your home. The base is in great vintage condition- the brass has the old patina. It is setup up for 10 double crystals. But two have been lost over the years, and it only bears 8. These crystals are pretty readily available, and if you need the two, my friend who is much more into these things has many crystals which would match. The base measures 7" high. And 5" in diameter. Antique Crystal Lidded Compote Smoky Dangles Marble Brass Base This compote is in good gently used condition. I can find no problems to the lid but a bit of roughness on a smattering of raised areas. Most likely teensy chips to the ends.not too bad. One of the dangles has a small shallow chip on the bottom. And then the brass base has some tarnish to one corner. Other than that it's a beauty. And quite fancy. The crystal bowl is held in a cast metal leaf design, very solidly made. The piece is not marked and it measures approx. 11 1/2" tall. This nice vintage compote set came from a recent estate sale. At least I was told it has always been a set but I am not sure that the candle holders match. I could be wrong though. They are all in good shape with no chips cracks or damage although there are some minor knicks/chips on the marble. There are 2 prisms missing on the compote and one missing on one of the candle holders. The prisms look like they were rewired although the very top wires look original. The compote which ... moreI think is crystal but might possibly be pressed glass stands just over 9 inches tall and is just over 11 inches across the top. The candle holders stand about 6.5 inches tall and are 5.5 inches across the base of the marble. The brass on the compote looks like it has cleaner in the grooves? Not sure but please look at the photos. All the pieces have felt on the bottoms so I have no idea who made them or exactly when they were made. If I were to guess I would say they are most likely Italian or German. All in all they are a nice set to dress up your buffet or dining room table. These are very heavy weighing over 14 pounds without packaging so its not going to be cheap to ship. Check out my other auctions for more great vintage and collectible items! This is a beautiful piece. I placed a soda can beside it. To show how big this piece is. It's not small. It stands 19" The lead crystal bowl is around 9" in diameter. It weighs 14.8 pounds. The little boy(cherub? statue is very detailed. It looks as if he's standing on the ocean, resting his arm on a wave. He's very detailed. The lead crystal bowl is very detailed as well. There are 12 crystal prisms(Teardrops) hanging around the bowl. They measure 3" The base is marble and brass. It's a very nice, elegant piece. Very decorative. This measures approximately 6.25 inches in height and the diameter of the crystal bowl is approximately 7 inches. It is in wonderful vintage condition with no cracks. Breaks or missing pieces to the glass or breaks/gouges to the brass base. The brass has a lovely warm patina. This would look lovely in just about any decor. Green felt on the bottom of the base. Measures 7 1/2" tall. Glass bowl is 5" in diameter. Base is 4" across. No cracks. The brass finish is worn off and there are nicks along the marble edges.

Here we have a lovely vintage crystal and brass compote. The compote has a beautiful crystal bowl with a cross and sword pattern. The base is a cherub brass pedestal with a brass base. The crystal bowl measures 5-1/2" in diameter. The compote stands 6-1/2" tall. There are no chip. Cracks or scratches in the crystal bowl.
