Pedestal Crystal Compote on a brass cherub on a dolphin, hanging crystals
This auction is for an antique ornate. Brass, leaded crystal compote. It is in excellent pre-owned condition. All 10 tear drop crystals are there. This item's bowl measures 13 3/8" long by 6 1/4" wide. It stands 9 3/4" tall. The marble base is 4 1/2" squared. The cherub riding the dolphin stands 6 1/2" tall. The crystals total length is 2 1/2" the tear shaped is 1 1/2" This item could be used to hold real or fabricated fruit, or decorations or anything you might find pleasing to the eye. Looking at another item similar to this. It is hand cut crystal, in patterns of fans& stars. Marble from Italy. Made possibly in Germany. There are no markings or labels left on this item.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! I do not know if it is glass or crystal. It does have a beautiful"ping" to it when tapped. It measures 8" tall. Marble base is 5" in diameter. Compote is 7" in diameter& 2" tall& has several"U" shaped cutouts. Crystal/glass is 3/4" thick at the thickest part. It is very heavy. Weighing 5 lbs 9 oz. Metal pedestal has a beautiful brass finish. There are 7 teardrop prisms. Overall it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Vintage BRASS PEDESTAL BASE with CUT CRYSTAL COMPOTE& 7 TEAR DROP CRYSTAL PRISMS WOW! Look at this. It's such a beautiful piece. The condition is really good, the brass shows slight wear from age. I did wipe it down once but it will need a deeper cleaning. The pattern has flowers that feel etched out, the diamonds with star and waffle patterns have pressed leaf spikes going up above it and are in between the 4 flowers. There is a saw tooth rim around the top. It has a nice heavy weight to it at 5 lbs. 9 oz. without packing materials so I'll list it as USPS Parcel Post to save money on shipping. Antique Gold Gilded Brass Eagles Footed Art Glass Pedestal Compote Urn Vase
This is a beautiful antique gold gilded brass Eagles footed art glass pedestal compote or urn or vase. Including the Eagles. It measures 9 1/4 inches tall(23.5 cm) Without the Eagles, it measures 8 3/4 inches tall(22.2 cm) The glass section measures 4 1/2 inches tall(11.4 cm) The bottom brass part also measures 4 1/2 inches tall(11.4 cm) The top opening is 3 1/4 inches wide(8.3 cm) Measuring from one corner of a foot to another corner of a foot it's 3 5/8 inches wide(9.3 cm) The glass is frosted and has great-looking tiny ovals all over. I don't know how this effect was created. The handles are highly detailed Eagle heads. The base has beautiful detail also. Including the 4 feet. I don't think it's bronze because it's not heavy enough. So it must be brass. But the intricate detail is wonderful. The rim around the top of ... morethe frosted glass has a very slight bend in it(please see photo) There is a slight chip when you take it apart where the brass meets the glass. But it's inside and doesn't show when you screw the little piece of brass back that connects the base with the glass(please see photo) There is also a small chip where the top of the glass meets the brass. But it's on the inside. However. You can see it if you look at it from a certain angle(please see photo) It has a great old rich patina to it. Surprisingly. It's not marked with a company name. The curved green glass compote is approximately 10.5" across with a nice dotted bubble pattern in the middle accented with the decorative floral design center. The green compote appears more olive in color while the 7 teardrop shaped prisms are more lime green in color. The use of the 2 different shades of green are what I think makes this a striking piece. This is a beautiful piece. I placed a soda can beside it. To show how big this piece is. It's not small. It stands 19" The lead crystal bowl is around 9" in diameter. It weighs 14.8 pounds. The little boy(cherub? statue is very detailed. It looks as if he's standing on the ocean, resting his arm on a wave. He's very detailed. The lead crystal bowl is very detailed as well. There are 12 crystal prisms(Teardrops) hanging around the bowl. They measure 3" The base is marble and brass. It's a very nice, elegant piece. Very decorative. The stunning pedestals are made up of two Brass Cherubs standing on the glass base and helping to hold up the glass bowl top. Both glass portions have the known pattern"Pedals" by Federal Glass Co. Vintage Lead Crystal and Brass Cherub Pedestal Bowl, Italy
Shown for your consideration is this elegant vintage 24% lead crystal and brass cherub design pedestal compote with prisms. It sits on a marble base. And is made in Italy. The stickers are still on it. It is in wonderful pre-owned condition, just very light wear on the metal. Also, one prism needs to be put back on. It is taped inside the bowl so that it doesn't get lost. This measures 10" high, and the bowl is 8 1/4" in diameter. It has a charming cherub riding a fish design. Very nice Antique diamond point cut Amber flash/ stained compote. Glass bowl features alternating clear and amber glass 1 inch panels that taper into a clear diamond cut design. This compote is in good( not perfect) condition. The original metal hardware shows its age. There are 2 clear panels that have tiny flea bite marks on the rim. The bowl rests atop of an acrylic amber polygon shaped(6 sided) support that attaches to the unpolished brass( floral and leaf shaped support. The metal leaves each have a spot for prisms. No prisms are included as they have long since been removed. The 4 inch diameter marble base shows some nicks( no cracks) This compote is very heavy and weighs over 4 lbs. without packaging. Found this beautiful Vintage candy dish at a Estate Sale. The crystal glass is cut beautifully. It actually reminds me of a crown. With the way it is shaped. Higher at one peak of the dish. As you can see by the pictures how unusual this dish is. I've never seen a crystal dish, look like this on Ebay. The stand has dragons on all the legs. Check out the pictures! The dish measures 7" from the highest peak to the lowest part of the crown/dish. The width is 6" across the dish.
