$8.79 Shipping Location: Rootstown, United States This is Early American Pressed Glass(EAPG) Cordial or Wine in the Rosette and Palms Pattern by the J.B. Higbee Company in 1910. It is 3 3/4" tall. ... more2" in diameter at the top, 1 7/8" in diameter at the base, and the rim of the bowl is fire polished. There are some stretch marks where the rim was slightly flared out during fire polishing. A few tiny bubbles, some straw marks at the horizontal seam above the design, and on the bottom of the foot there is a very tiny fleabite or nick. Being on the bottom it is unseen, but even when you look for it it's not that easy to find. I took a close-up photograph so you can see what I mean. Other than those mostly in-the-making things and the tiny fleabite on the foot, it is in very good vintage condition and has no cracks, chips, fractures, bruises, stains, or repairs. I do my best to describe an item as completely as I can. And do my best to take the highest quality photographs that I can, so please look at all the pictures before you bid because in the end they are the best and final description. This beautiful early pattern glass footed dish has beautiful crisp sparkling details. Scalloped top edges, and a footed base. It was produced in 1907 by John B. Higbee, and is referred to as the Rexford pattern, but is also known as Alfa, Euclid, and Boylan. This pattern was also produced by New Martinsville Glass Co. in 1919, and was called No. 21. It measures 5" tall, by 5 1/8" across the top. It is in excellent condition. And has no chips, cracks, or damage. Beautiful piece for use or a collection! OLD Talavera Clay Stamped Wine Carafe Pitcher Higbee's RARE Limited
This is an OLD unusual piece of Talavera pottery. It measures 6 3/4" high. It is painted in the traditional blue colors with yellow brown and black accents. I believe it may be a wine pitcher. Underneath where the handle is attached is printed the name HIGBEE'S. It is in great condition. The bottom shows the Talavera name and guarantee certificate. Part of the certificate stating"guarantee that is totally decorated" is shown also. I haven't been able to find any information about this piece since I inherited it many years ago from an 89 year old friend. Email any questions please. I will ship UPS or USPS. This beautiful early pattern glass pedestal bowl has beautiful loop and starburst type details. Scalloped top edges, and a footed base with a starburst type pattern. It was produced in 1907 by John B. Higbee, and is referred to as the Rexford pattern, but is also known as Alfa, Euclid, and Boylan. This pattern was also produced by New Martinsville Glass Co. in 1919, and was called No. 21. It measures 7" tall, by 7 5/8" across the top opening, by 4" across its base. 6 inch EAPG New Era Yoke & Circle 8 toed Bowl Higbee GLass Co. Circa 1912
Well. I don't know the exact date of manufacture for a fact but you can bet your bippy it's close to 100 years old. I understand this Early American Pressed Glass(EAPG) pattern is NEW ERA, also known as Yoke and Circle manufactured by Higbee Glass Company. This bowl stands about 2 3/8 inches high at the highest point on the rim and is about 6 3/16 inches across the top. Upon close examination I found some very light damage on the outer edge of the bowls rim. the very outside tips of two rim points have tiny flea bites and a rim point between the those two has a very small"flake" on the outside of the point(and I do mean very small) All in all, considering the age of the piece and the fact that this little damage would not normally be noticed I decided it was not ready for the recycle bin, far from it. EAPG = Early American Pattern Glass- from the late 1800's to very early 1900's. Size: About 5 inches across and 8 inches tall Condition: This is an antique. Either over 100 years old or very close to it.base shows wear(see photo) from years of rubbing. There are tiny nicks or fleabites along the seams but no actual chips(I tried to capture the seams in the close-up photos) and there is wear from use, small scratches and rubbed areas to the surface of the glass. Bryce Higbee Colonial Arch Panel Clear Glass Comport
I have tried to research and identify this stemmed bowl. To the best of my knowledge I believe it is by Bryce Glass Co. This is an antique Bryce& Higbee or U.S. Glass comport or candy dish. In a Colonial pattern. The clear glass bowl has scalloped edges with arched panels on a stem. The base has a wide homespun type cut design underneath with a scalloped flower shape. The inside of the bowl is smooth. I am really not sure of the exact age as this piece has no marks. It came from my 88 year old neighbor's estate. It stands 7 1/2" tall x 6" wide. It has a few bubbles in the glass and a couple of rough edges on the panels. I know she used it as a candy dish at one time. Antique Higbee Thistle Candy Dish No Lid EAPG
I purchased this at an estate auction. They gave me paperwork on what the dish was. Of course. No mention that it should have had a lid. I have no lid for this bowl. It's still a very pretty bowl and I love the thistle pattern anyway. This is old glass from 1906-1908. The company wasn't in business long. Too bad, again, I love this pattern. This bowl measures 2" tall x 5 3/8" w/o, 7 1/4" w/handles. Weighs just over 1 lb. It has the lovely thistle pattern around the sides, and pie cut base, 8 lines with smaller ribs in between. It is pre-bee mark period. In picture 4, you will see a crease or fold in the bottom of the bowl. This is not a scratch, it was made during manufacturing. There is a chip on the base of one of the handles(see pic. 5) It was a bubble in the handle. I guess got hit, there wasn't enough glass ... moreto cover, and it chipped. Also, some people sneaking candy(I'm not saying who) must have put the lid on too quickly and the inner rim has roughness. A Good Antique 1880's Canton? Bryce Higbee? EAPG Dahlia Pressed Glass Pitcher Offered for sale is this super nice condition EAPG pressed glass pitcher in the Dahlia pattern. This pattern has been attributed to both Canton Glass Company of Canton. Ohio and also Bryce Higbee of Pittsburgh. It was made sometime during the 1880's. It is decorated with dahlia blossoms on leafy stems against a wide stippled band. This pitcher is in good condition having no chips, no cracks, no repairs. There exists a few minor and very typical straw marks. The pitcher measures 8 3/4 inches tall and 8 1/4 inches from pouring spout to handle. Here is a lovely bread plate made by Bryce Higbee circa 1885. This plate is part of the"Sheraton" pattern of glass. And measures 8 inches by 10 inches. The color of this plate is a lovely aqua blue. The plate is in good condition, especially for its 125 years of age. The following defects are present. There is a white cloud mark in the glass from the manufacturing of the plate. It is incased in the glass(see photo#3) Secondly, there is a small 1/4 inch crack on the rim of the plate(see Photo#4) and finally, there is a small chip on the underneath foot of the plate(see Photo# 5) Please buy with confidence. They can be distinguished from Blenko by the optic pattern(if you can see it in the photo) or by the slightly more rounded shoulders or by the spouts which for the most part seem to slope up while Blenko’s spouts are more perpendicular to the neck. Bryce, Higbee & Co Fleur-de-Lis Bowl
Imposing bowl measure 9 1/2" wide and is probably made from the same mold as the 10 1/2" plate I am offering. But it has been tooled deeper to create a shallow bowl. This is high quality glass as one would expect from this company. There is one small flake off the bottom of the rim. It does not affect the outline and is too small to photograph meaningfully.

Common pattern name is Fan Band. Original manufacturer's name is Yale, first introduced in 1887. Engraved with leaf design on bowl. 7" dia. 5 1/4" high. Original catalog ad showing this open compote as"7 in. flared bowl" is shown on p. 173 of"Bryce, Higbee and J. B. Higbee Glass" and p. 115 of Kamm's"An Eighth Pattern Glass Book. Shown in ad with no lid. Excellent condition, no chips on scalloped rim or the foot. There is one very small chip on the inner rim, and light use scratches on the inside of the bowl. It is the Sprig pattern by Bryce Higbee from the middle of the 1880's. This is the 6" tall covered compote. Both pieces appear to be in very good condition. I have found no chips or cracks. There are a few tiny chiggers on the inside of the lid opening. There are a few very tiny bubbles in the glass also. Th is was part of a large set of dishes in this Sprig pattern that I found.
