I want for you to know that the glass was treated with vegetable oil on the inside. Which makes it look so much better(please see photo) There are a couple of flea bites along the top rim of the jar. Otherwise there are no noted chips. Breaks, or repairs to the jar. The lid has a hairline crack in it as well as a chip(on the inside bottom portion that fits into the jar) The lid is ground and sets slightly lower in the neck of the jar. Vintage Cherub Apothecary Style Jar. This piece is absolutely gorgeous. Cherub stem and lid are pewter and have some nice patina. The lid especially looks distressed and is shiny in some areas. The cherub stands on a metal base and holds up the glass bowl. It measures 10" High x 3-3/4" at widest point. The bowl is 3-1/2 in diameter and 2-1/4" deep.
