I ran my nail over it and it didn't catch, it is smooth, as well as another area near the top of handle, both the same side. It was very hard to see and the handle is intact. See last picture. Here for your consideration is a Fenton Strawberry Pattern Design frosted glass Double Crimped ruffled footed Compote Candy Dish. With the Fenton mark on the bottom. The dish measures approx. 6" high 5 1/4" across. The dish is in mint condition. Nice and heavy dish deeply detailed. See photos above for a better look at this great looking piece.
