Offered for your inspection is a nice antique glass compote dish. The clear glass bowl or dish has a nice round curved base. It has a star and swirl Pattern design and is unmarked. The dish measures about 8 inches in diameter and 8 inches tall. The Glass Compote is in great condition for it's age with some tiny flea bites on the the rim and a few factory mold flaws. Is adorned with beautiful cut flowers, and the detail is stunning. This is a heavy piece. It's sure to be a wonderful conversation piece. Compote does have original sticker. Note- I am going through a lot of my grandmothers crystal. I came across this lovely compote that was given to her by my grandfather. When they were stationed in Germany. Just so you know. Footed bowl. 18th or 19th century, flared colorless glass with finely engraved details into the gilding of scrolls and fleur de lis design, and has some red and green Enamelled details covering the outside of the bowl. The border is made of gold bands with green Enamell dots. This glass peace has a slightly flared bowl with a slitely domed folded foot. The bowl sits atop a stem with a ribed knop section. Etched floral design. The bowl measures 7.75 Inches across the top. It's 7.25 Inches high and has a 5.5 inch base. Overall its in beautiful condition with no scratches. Cracks or repairs. Upon close examination I count 5 small dings to the edge. They are small and hard to see and don't distract from the overall beauty of the piece. Please see the pictures. Displays very well. Verdigris Gilded Texture Paste Coated Footed Clear Glass Compote Made in USA Up for auction is an extremely unusual footed clear glass bowl coated with gilded verdigris textured finish… Item has original sticker at bottom with 1926 date(see close up pix) Compote has six sided small foot with flared out multi-sided bowl with handle to one side. Bowl is made of clear glass and then textured with verdigris. Gold and some peach pink texturing…Compote opening rim has saw tooth design. I have not been able to find any information on similar items. Process seems to be similar to the pate de sure(paste on porcelain) procedure. Item is in good pre-owned vintage condition with no chips but some of the texturing is flaking off and I would consider the item to be in delicate condition and be handled accordingly. Victorian 7 Piece Footed Ruby Glass Berry Set With Silver Plated Base c.1860
You are bidding on a stunning Victorian ruby glass 7 pieces berry set with silver plated stems. The master berry bowl is 8 1/2" tall and 8 1/2" diameter. The 6 berry cups are 3 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" diameter. These pieces have a lovely cut out rim and are fitted on a silver plated fluted base. This is a rare set and we have not been capable of finding any similar examples. We believe this to be English dating from circa 1860. There is no makers mark. There is some condition issues that are minimal and do not deter from the beauty of this set. The master bowl detaches from the base as it should be. The berry cups have been fixed in with some sort of old plaster. The master bowl has a flake chip on the outer rim and a few very small nicks also on the upper rim. It also show some utensil marks. Tho(2) of the cups have small ... morenicks on the rim. The silver plating has some wear clearly shown in our pictures. This amazing set will display marvelously! Antique Gold Gilded Brass Eagles Footed Art Glass Pedestal Compote Urn Vase
This is a beautiful antique gold gilded brass Eagles footed art glass pedestal compote or urn or vase. Including the Eagles. It measures 9 1/4 inches tall(23.5 cm) Without the Eagles, it measures 8 3/4 inches tall(22.2 cm) The glass section measures 4 1/2 inches tall(11.4 cm) The bottom brass part also measures 4 1/2 inches tall(11.4 cm) The top opening is 3 1/4 inches wide(8.3 cm) Measuring from one corner of a foot to another corner of a foot it's 3 5/8 inches wide(9.3 cm) The glass is frosted and has great-looking tiny ovals all over. I don't know how this effect was created. The handles are highly detailed Eagle heads. The base has beautiful detail also. Including the 4 feet. I don't think it's bronze because it's not heavy enough. So it must be brass. But the intricate detail is wonderful. The rim around the top of ... morethe frosted glass has a very slight bend in it(please see photo) There is a slight chip when you take it apart where the brass meets the glass. But it's inside and doesn't show when you screw the little piece of brass back that connects the base with the glass(please see photo) There is also a small chip where the top of the glass meets the brass. But it's on the inside. However. You can see it if you look at it from a certain angle(please see photo) It has a great old rich patina to it. Surprisingly. It's not marked with a company name. This is a beautiful antique late 1800's compote. This beautiful piece has a very large size pewter statue of a small child. The glass is hand blown cranberry color with ruffled edge and has a square diamond cut pattern. There are two very tiny nick's on the ruffled edge of the blown glass bowl. Not real visible This does not take away from this beautiful antique piece) The base is a light metal silver plate over brass. It has a lovely ornate design and has lovely footed ornate feet. The compote measures about 17" tall x and the glass bowl measures 12" x 12" wide. Really unique antique compote. This piece will be insured when shipped.

Likely interwar(1919- 1940) period based on the look and the other stuff I found this with. This stands about 8 1/2" at its tallest. Top bowl is 10" diameter. Foot is 5 3/4" diameter. Weighs 3 lbs 3 oz before packaging for shipment. No noticeable cracks or chips. Wear to figures. They are brass colored. Could be hollow brass, or plated, I am not sure.
