Without lid is 4 inches tall x 6 1/2 inches~SQUARE, measuring bottom of compote. PLEASE~Supersize the pictures as they serve as a huge part of my description. Stunning~Beautiful~Elegant~OLD~ is just a few words that describe this Canary Yellow Daisy Button Thumbprint Compote The covered Compote does have a flaw that is not mentioned below. I am not real sure if it is a flaw or was made this way. I almost did not notice this. But once I did, it was easy to spot again. Inside the bowl there appears to be a wicked crack in the crystal. However I cannot feel this crack on the inside or outside ... moreof the compote. I really think it is, within the glass? It starts from one of the side thumbprint panels. THere are different cuts in the panels and it looks like this mentioned flaw starts in the same area where a cut was made to form the panels. I tried to show you in the pictures the flaw but it was real hard to get a good photo of the flaw. See pictures, 8& 9. The 8th picture, I darkened quite a bit, hoping you will be able to see this flaw. I have several pieces of the EAPG listed and it all. Is in really GOOD CONDITION for it's age. Looks to have been taken well care of and probably lived in a curio cabinet for many years. You may or may not find things such as a few bubbles in the glass. Roughness around edges or strawmarks. These, if found, are natural from the creation process. The EAPG pieces that I am listing are well over a 100 years old and I am sure if you look hard enough. You will find a few small area's where the yellow stain has flaked, or scratched. ANTIQUE/VINTAGE CUT BLOCK EAPG (?) CRYSTAL Glass COMPOTE candy dish with LID
I wish I could tell you exact information on this compote but I cannot. An antiques expert told me it is called Cut Block but there are no markings on it. It is 9" tall with the lid and 6" tall without the lid. The lid is curved to match the curves on the base of the compote and it fits into these curves perfectly. The base is scalloped. The stem of the base has a drape pattern and you can see the inside of the stem which resembles a blown bubble- but is simply the inside of the stem. My mother has this exact compote but in a 12" tall size that she has had for more than 50 years. She bought hers originally in an antique shop. this compote has no damage and very little wear on the bottom so it may have been stored in a china cabinet. The glass is very clear.

This is a Heavy and Beautiful Candy Dish or Compote. It is made of thick press/cut glass with brilliant pattern of double star or arches. The Metal is casted really thick and has a nice antique but shiny look. It appears to be brass as best as I can describe the color. It is very heavy and thick. the base is lush and scrolling with 4 feet and pedestal design. the glass bowl is held on by a ornate brass fitting and the lid has a matching finial knob that looks like a pine cone or an artichoke. stands 10" tall. 6.5" wide at base and bowl is 6" wide. Found no chips or damage the glass or its rims. The base is very nice and shiny. Antique Art Deco Crystal Footed Compote With Lid And Etched Flowers
This is an Art Deco footed compote with lid or cover. It is crystal with a nice clear ring at my touch. Both compote and lid are etched with flowers. It stands 7 3/4" tall to the top of the handle. Is 6" in diameter, stands on a 3 5/8" base and weighs 1 pound 14 ounces. My antique dealer authenticates this as genuine Art Deco dating to the 1920's or 30's. SEE PICTURE AS THEY ARE AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE DESCRIPTION.NOTE: IF IT LOOKS LIKE A SCRATCH IT PROBABLY IS, ONE SLIGHT CHIP ON INSIDE OF BOWL SURFACE NEAR THE CENTER,THE PEDESTAL STEM HAS A VISIBLE JOINT SEEM,AND THE LID HANDLE HAS ONE OF THE HORIZONTAL POSTS MISSING AND THE CENTER POINT IS CHIPPED.
