ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! I do not know if it is glass or crystal. It does have a beautiful"ping" to it when tapped. It measures 8" tall. Marble base is 5" in diameter. Compote is 7" in diameter& 2" tall& has several"U" shaped cutouts. Crystal/glass is 3/4" thick at the thickest part. It is very heavy. Weighing 5 lbs 9 oz. Metal pedestal has a beautiful brass finish. There are 7 teardrop prisms. Overall it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The pictures do not do this piece justice. This is a stunning crystal cut glass with gold highlights compote. This starburst pattern cut crystal glass has an amazing amount of gold on this compote bowl. The bowl has a lovely floral gilted brass center screw. Between the beautiful bowl and the glass stem is a wonderful gilted brass leaf pattern that the prisms hang from. The stem of the piece is a solid diamond shape glass. The prisms on this antique compote picks up great color. The brass ornate filigree pattern and marble base is a beautiful addition to this stunning compote. When this piece is in the light the gold just catches the eye. The antique compote measures 8" tall and the cut crystal gold highlighted bowl measures 8 1/2 across x 4 1/2" deep. I have for auction a Pressed Glass Compote with a metal base that 7 glass Prisms hang from. It does not appear to have been used much. The crystal bowl is attached to a non magnetic metal foot that has 7 glass prism drops hanging from it. The bowl is pressed glass. I do not see any obvious flaws in the glass but have not gone over it with a magnifying glass. This piece stands 9 1/4 inches tall and is 8 1/4 inches in diameter. It is heavy. LOVELY VINTAGE CRYSTAL/GLASS COMPOTE WITH METAL BASE AND CRYSTAL PRISMS Glass bowl has a diamond shape design. Scalloped edges and is completely surround by little crystal prisms. There are a few faint surface scratches that can be expected with age. Ornate metal base has 4 decorative claw feet. Base& handle have an aged brass finish. For your consideration a Vintage Green Glass& Metal Pedestal Compote with Green Teardrop Prisms from a Smoke Free Home. The approximately 4" base appears to be marble. The curved green glass compote is approximately 10.5" across with a nice dotted bubble pattern in the middle accented with the decorative floral design center. The green compote appears more olive in color while the 7 teardrop shaped prisms are more lime green in color. The use of the 2 different shades of green are what I think makes this a striking piece. This item stands approximately 10" tall and is excellent vintage condition with no nicks. Chips or cracks. I believe this probably is from the'60's- 70's. Inside the metal stand I see the numbers 5792* I have no idea what that means. Overall the glass is in excellent condition except for a small scratch in one area. Very heavy. Stands 9 inches tall. Monarch Crystal West Germany Vintage Compote With Marble & Brass Glass Prisms
Up for your consideration is this stunning vintage crystal Monarch made in West Germany compote. The compote has a beautiful star& diamond pattern with a scalloped edge. The pedestal is a brass metal material with a leaf pattern. It has glass prisms hanging from the compote with a marble base. The glass bowl measures 10 1/4" long 6 1/8" across and stands 5 1/8" tall. The compote over all stands 9 1/4" tall from base to the top edge of the crystal bowl. The crystal bowl has no chips or cracks. All the prisms are present and the brass and marble base are in wonderful condition. There is damage to the 3 of the panels that hold the prisms. Please review the last three pictures. It is a stunning elegant piece that is need of repair.

This is a pretty molded glass compote with lid and teardrop shaped glass prisms mounted on a marble base. There is no maker's mark; age unknown. The compote is in excellent condition: no cracks. Chips, or breaks. The inside appears smooth as if not used. All teardrop shaped glass prisms are intact. The compote stands approximately 11" tall with lid. Is 5 3/4" in diameter at opening, and 4" in diameter at base. It has 8 teardrop shaped glass prisms. PLEASE EXAMINE ALL PICTURES CAREFULLY; IF YOU SHOULD HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS.
