This starburst pattern cut crystal glass has an amazing amount of gold on this compote bowl. The bowl has a lovely floral gilted brass center screw. Between the beautiful bowl and the glass stem is a wonderful gilted brass leaf pattern that the prisms hang from. The stem of the piece is a solid diamond shape glass. The prisms on this antique compote picks up great color. The brass ornate filigree pattern and marble base is a beautiful addition to this stunning compote. The pattern has flowers that feel etched out, the diamonds with star and waffle patterns have pressed leaf spikes going up above it and are in between the 4 flowers. There is a saw tooth rim around the top. It has a nice heavy weight to it at 5 lbs. 9 oz. without packing materials so I'll list it as USPS Parcel Post to save money on shipping. Antique Bohemian compote with silver base. Beautiful white to clear cut glass decorated with green& blue grape cluster vines. Accented with thick gold trim. The bowl shape is deeply ruffled or wavy with sharp cut edges. Ornate silver weighted base having leafy vines and scrolled corners. Tested to be at least 750 silver grade. Measures about 7.25" tall by 9.75" wide. Considering its age I would say it is in pretty good condition overall. The bowl has a few small chips to the pointed edges. If you look at the very base underside. In the centre, there is a small inclusion/crack in the glass. And another very small one on the very top inside around the metal centre where the bolt goes. There is abit of gummy material on the underside of base in the same area which I believe is there to stabilize it. Both are minor and not noticeable ... moreunless closely inspected. As for the base. It has a few minor dings to the silver. I noticed one small hole in the silver and another small spot where it looks like it has been repaired. ANTIQUE ITALIAN PRESSED GLASS MARBLE BASE COMPOTE BOWL 2 BRASS CANDLE STICKS
This was a beautiful estate sale find. Pressed glass pinwheel style with two matching candle holders. Each piece has eight sets of teardrop prisms except the bowl. It's missing one set. But they seem to be easy enough to find. I haven't done anything to them but take their pictures. The bowl stands 9 1/4" tall and 8 1/4" wide. The candle holders are 8" tall and 5" wide. They have no chips or cracks that I could find. With a little TLC these beauties can be the centerpiece of your home. Vintage GEM ACC Compote Red Glass top with Metal/Steal Base Measures 2 1/2" tall and almost 5" wide on the top. Stand measures 3 1/2" wide. This beautiful piece appears to be very old. The red paint is wearing off due to age. The stem is made of metal/ steal and has GEM ACC stamped on the bottom-see photo. It appears there is a part of the glass that is cut however it's not very notiable. I'm not sure if it's meant to be there as it's very smooth-see photo. Questions are welcome and encouraged.

Crystal-Sterling Silver Base-Covered Candy Dish-Compote-See Hallmarks-Victorian
Gorgeous Victorian period Crystal and Sterling Silver covered compote or candy dish. Total height is 12. Diameter inside bowl is 5. Sterling base is 3" tall. Look at photos#7 and#8 to see dents to the silver base. There are no chips or cracks to the crystal portion. In photo#10 there is a slight"bump" on the inside of the cover's rim. It is smooth and you can only feel it from the inside. Bottom is covered in a felt like material. We spent quite a bit of time trying to decipher the hallmarks with little success. Here they are: CM8 inside a cross-Right facing Lion over the numeral 2-Sovereign Head which looks like a lady wearing a bonnet facing left-Letter C inside a round indention Help on the hallmarks would be greatly appreciated. A handsome EAPG( Early American Pressed Glass) compote in the rarely found Brooklyn Pattern. This was made c.1850 by Bakewell Pears in Pittsburgh. Pennsylvania. Illustrated in McKearin'American Glass' plate 213- 8 and described on page 399. It has a band of oval thumbprints at the top. The stem and foot are the same as that found on'Thumbprint' dome covered compotes and pedestal celerys, handsomely and deeply molded from the underside of the open pedestal. Made of the very finest quality clear flint glass, this has a beautiful bell like ring when struck. The glass is bright and sparkling with a silvery sheen. This is stunning very large cranberry epergne/compote with a silver/silverplated heavy ornate base. This is a late 1800's early 1900's with 3 cranberry bowl's that are etched with a lovely wedding scroll design. The piece measures 17" tall x 15" wide. The small bowl's measure 3" tall x 6 1/2" wide. The large center bowl measures 9 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" tall. The base measures 13" tall x 13" wide. I see no chips or cracks in the bowls has some edge ware on the larger bowl. The base I am unclear on has it could be silver or silverplated can't find any marking's. Needs polishing should clean up really well. This is one amazing antique piece. I have owned this piece for the 22 years and it has been housed a curio cabinet.

The base is in great vintage condition- the brass has the old patina. It is setup up for 10 double crystals. But two have been lost over the years, and it only bears 8. These crystals are pretty readily available, and if you need the two, my friend who is much more into these things has many crystals which would match. The base measures 7" high. And 5" in diameter. 1970'S GORGEOUS CUT ROSE CRYSTAL BOWL COMPOTE w PRISMS& MARBLE& METAL BASE This is an offering of a lovely 1960's to 1970's era cut crystal compote that features a lovely scene of a rose that is repeated around the bowl 3 times. It also features an elaborate cut design and sawtooth style rim. It has a fantastic ring to the bowl and I believe it may be German crystal. This compote has a marble and antique gold metal base and also features 4 teardrop prisms that hang from a metal leafy style piece that is mounted right under the bowl. The stem of the compote has a faceted crystal piece with a partial label that says crystal cut but rest is unreadable. This stands about 11" for total height and the bowl is about 8 1/2" in diameter. It is in very good shape. I do feel a couple of small rough areas around the inside ... moretop area of the teeth but could not see any chips but is more like a rough inside edge to the teeth from time of manufacture. This listing is for a LOVELY. Large Elegant Antique Crystal Compote/ Bowl Attached To A 3-Cherub Goldtone Metal Pedestal Base. I can feel only a couple(not visible- at least not without very close, intense scrutiny) of'rough' areas on exterior of crystal bowl, otherwise crystal is beautiful(and this is crystal.with a very pretty'ting' to it when tapped lightly with your fingernail) There is significant lime/calcium buildup on metal cherub pedestal which I would think could be cleaned up with some Limeaway and a good deal of effort. There is a little bit of'play' between the crystal bowl and the pedestal. I've tried to show this in the last 2 photos.photo 11 is with the pedestal resting on the crystal bowl.photo 12 shows the pedestal lifted from the bowl so you can see the play. This does not impact the sturdiness ... moreof the bowl on the stand whatsoever.and this play could perhaps be eliminated through tightening by someone who knew what they were doing. It is large and heavy. A true centerpiece, it measures about 10 1/2" across by about 4 1/2" deep. Altogether, it measures about 12 1/2" high. It will ship between 11 and 12 pounds. When I rescued this from an attic. The crystal was splattered with paint and it was filthy. I tried to clean it, but simply did not have the time to try and remove the lime and or calcium deposits. I was told by the family that it likely came from Europe when their grandparents immigrated to the United States in the early 1900's. I have no way to validate that information, however, so I am simply listing it as age unknown. I can find no maker's mark. Vintage Cherub Apothecary Style Jar. This piece is absolutely gorgeous. Cherub stem and lid are pewter and have some nice patina. The lid especially looks distressed and is shiny in some areas. The cherub stands on a metal base and holds up the glass bowl. It measures 10" High x 3-3/4" at widest point. The bowl is 3-1/2 in diameter and 2-1/4" deep. Most likely teensy chips to the ends.not too bad. One of the dangles has a small shallow chip on the bottom. And then the brass base has some tarnish to one corner. Other than that it's a beauty. And quite fancy. The crystal bowl is held in a cast metal leaf design, very solidly made. The piece is not marked and it measures approx. 11 1/2" tall. Vintage Embossed Clear Glass Pedestal Compote Dish with Metal Base GIM#3027 In EXCELLENT CONDITION! No cracks. Chips or anything of this nature! This piece is large enough to be used as a fruit bowl and small enough to fill with candies or nuts without looking out of place. The top rim is smooth as well as the interior. The exterior is embossed with pretty designs that reflect the light and colors of anything added beautifully although I do not believe this is crystal. I am fairly certain it is pressed glass. The interior bottom has a flat head screw that tightens the metal base to the glass. The ornate base appears to have a brass finish. Measures about 6-7/8" in height x 10-5/8" in diameter along the top rim. Weighs just about 3 lbs 8 oz(packaging weight not included) Clean and ready for use!
