Antique & Unique Hollywood Regency Crystal & Metal Gold Tone Compote w/Prisms
This is an unusual and unique Antique Hollywood Regency Crystal and Metal Compote with 8 Tear Drop Prisms. It is 13" tall with a cut crystal bowl that is 8" in diameter x 6" high. It is a replacement bowl from the original. However, very substantial with a 3/8th" thick crystal. The bowl has a feather like cut to it. The metal base is gold tone and stands 7" tall with a 6" square base of four"feet" There is some oxidation and wear on the base a seen in th photos. There is a bobeche of 16 leaves under the bowl which holds eight 2.5" long tear drop prisms. All in all a great piece! It is heavy and with be separated for safe shipping. Shipping includes insurance.

Vintage Crystal Compote Candy Dish Genuine Lead Crystal Made in Western Germany 10 Dangling Prism Crystals Brass Gold Toned Cherub Fine Marble Base Made in Italy 16' Tall with the lid on& 10 1/2' with out the lid The bowl measures 6' across& 2 1/2' deep Both the Crystal lid and the Mable base have there Original stickers The Crystal lid& bowl have no chips or cracks. Just above the cherub to the left there is some gold leafing that has rubbed off. Also the medal wire holding some of the prisms is a little bit discolored. For your bidding consideration today. We have a stunning vintage crystal bowl and stand. The bowl is from Germany with a label that states this is lead crystal and hand cut. The base is either brass or a gold tone metal. There are prisms around the top of the stand, and they are all there. The bowl is free from chips or cracks, and the is no color loss to the metal.
