The dish has a cast and applied rim with a stylized wave pattern. On either side of the dish is an applied plaque in 14 karat gold, depicting four winged cupids going about their heavenly appointed duties. The center of the dish has a monogram of MCS in flowing script. This piece is in great overall condition. The details of the designs. Particularly the scenes in gold, are nice and crisp. The opaline glass is glossy with hand painted florals decorating the ruffled scallop bowl with pink rim. The pedestal base is decorated with heavy gold floral garland. The bowl is in great condition for the age. C.1870 or prior. There are a few very shallow rim flakes, two on the top side and one on the underneath, felt more than seen but magnified with close-up photo. Normal wear to enameled florals and wear to gold gilded rings around compote. Photos show all issues well. Antique Bohemian cut crystal floral tazza compote Moser
This lead crystal compote or tazza is 8 3/8 inches tall and 6 ¼ inches in diameter on the top. The tazza is wheel cut on the underside and gilded in a floral pattern. There are cut facets on the bottom that have been gilded. It is superb work. It is hand blown. The piece dates to the late 19 th or early 20 th century. It is unsigned but was made by Moser or another top quality maker. There are no chips. Cracks or repairs but there is a wear to the gilding on the top edge and to the strip near the bottom.

This Outstanding Bohemian Art Glass Compote measures about 9" in diameter and 7-3/4" tall. It does have some wear and some chips as pictured. Overall it is an outstanding piece of Bohemian Glass.The interior of the bowl is decorated with a golden colored enamel while the outside is enameled with a red colored flashing. This creates a fantastic three dimensionality to the compote When looking through the glass it almost appears that the gold enamel has a shadow. It is an exceptional find. This gorgeous compote is 5-7/8" high and 6-1/2" in diameter. It has. What looks to be, a hollow stem. The stem and base are encased in clear glass. There are some chips/flakes on the cut top edge of the compote where it is cut to clear. The base of the compote is cut in a pattern of three teeth, then a larger space, then three more teeth, etc. I have tried to show this in my pictures. I see two small chips on the fancy cut base, but these may have been in the making because they are right where the cutting was done. It really is a beautiful piece of glass from, I believe, the 1800's. Your cut glass compote will be mailed via USPS Priority Mail, insured, with tracking. It will be very well packed.
