The Serving Dish is the only piece I have ever had marked Fraget and with a bit of reasearch I found this was a Polish(then part of Russia) Silver Company know for very fine quality workmanship and later became part of the famous WMF Company. So you know the quality is top notch. The Centerpiece Serving Dish consists of a very large Silver Plate frame or stand, modeled to look like Bamboo and featuring large Fruit and Leaf patterns as well. The Frame is quite large and very impressive measuring 10-1/2" tall by 13-1/4" across. There is also 3 lovely Cut Glass Dishes that fit in this frame and they measure 7" long by 4-3/4" wide and sit 1-1/4" deep. The Frame is in excellent condition with no breaks, cracks or repairs and looks to have no wear to the Silver Plate down to the base metal. The Glass Dishes are also in good order, one has a chip and cracked area as seen in our photos, another just has one small chip and the 3rd is in excellent condition.

Antique Bohemian compote with silver base. Beautiful white to clear cut glass decorated with green& blue grape cluster vines. Accented with thick gold trim. The bowl shape is deeply ruffled or wavy with sharp cut edges. Ornate silver weighted base having leafy vines and scrolled corners. Tested to be at least 750 silver grade. Measures about 7.25" tall by 9.75" wide. Considering its age I would say it is in pretty good condition overall. The bowl has a few small chips to the pointed edges. If you look at the very base underside. In the centre, there is a small inclusion/crack in the glass. And another very small one on the very top inside around the metal centre where the bolt goes. There is abit of gummy material on the underside of base in the same area which I believe is there to stabilize it. Both are minor and not noticeable ... moreunless closely inspected. As for the base. It has a few minor dings to the silver. I noticed one small hole in the silver and another small spot where it looks like it has been repaired. Victorian 7 Piece Footed Ruby Glass Berry Set With Silver Plated Base c.1860
You are bidding on a stunning Victorian ruby glass 7 pieces berry set with silver plated stems. The master berry bowl is 8 1/2" tall and 8 1/2" diameter. The 6 berry cups are 3 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" diameter. These pieces have a lovely cut out rim and are fitted on a silver plated fluted base. This is a rare set and we have not been capable of finding any similar examples. We believe this to be English dating from circa 1860. There is no makers mark. There is some condition issues that are minimal and do not deter from the beauty of this set. The master bowl detaches from the base as it should be. The berry cups have been fixed in with some sort of old plaster. The master bowl has a flake chip on the outer rim and a few very small nicks also on the upper rim. It also show some utensil marks. Tho(2) of the cups have small ... morenicks on the rim. The silver plating has some wear clearly shown in our pictures. This amazing set will display marvelously! This is stunning very large cranberry epergne/compote with a silver/silverplated heavy ornate base. This is a late 1800's early 1900's with 3 cranberry bowl's that are etched with a lovely wedding scroll design. The piece measures 17" tall x 15" wide. The small bowl's measure 3" tall x 6 1/2" wide. The large center bowl measures 9 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" tall. The base measures 13" tall x 13" wide. I see no chips or cracks in the bowls has some edge ware on the larger bowl. The base I am unclear on has it could be silver or silverplated can't find any marking's. Needs polishing should clean up really well. This is one amazing antique piece. I have owned this piece for the 22 years and it has been housed a curio cabinet.

The glass is mounted atop a heavily repousse decorated rococco style base with scenic vignettes of windmills. The opaline glass vessel is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The base itself is clad in sterling silver over a very thick paper mache material. Aside from a few small indents and a minor amount of scattered splitting at the base. A beautiful antique vaseline art glass compote bowl with a figural silver plate cherub stem and base. Note cut scalloped rim. Applied accents, gold gilding and the satin finish to the vaseline bowl. The glass is a soft green clambroth color, satin exterior finish and smooth gloss finish interior. The scrolling gold gilding near the rim of the bowl can be felt in relief. The pierced brass collar and the handles have lost most of silver plate, the brass pedestal base less wear to silver.

Exquisite and graceful large antique Victorian glass clam shell shaped bowl on a silver footed stand(plate or? The edges of the bowl are finished in an unusual asymmetrical pattern of points. The glass is artfully decorated with a polychrome enamel flower and scroll pattern. The inside of the bowl is a light blue glass. The outside of the bowl is opal. The silver base(plate or? has a Rococo pattern of scrolls on the base as well as the feet. The bowl is attached to the base with a silver circle in the center of the bowl. I am not sure who the maker is. Circa late 1800's/ early 1900's. Description Offered is an antique silver and glass compote which stands 6" tall and is 7" in diameter across the top. The compote features a French silver base with a stem/base which is 4 1/4" tall land is 4 3/4" across the bottom. The base has four scrolled feet and the stem has ball decorations. The bowl portion is made of cased glass-white cut to cranberry with gold decoration. The glass is lovely and the cutting is beautifully done. The rim of the bowl is scalloped to look like petals. I have not been able to find hallmarks. But the piece is guaranteed solid silver and as described. It probably dates to the 1880's and was most likely made in France. It is in very nice condition with no breaks or repairs in the silver. The glass has no chips or cracks, but the gilding is quite worn. Vtg GLASS COMPOTE w Silver Overlay: Actress LOUISE CURRIE Estate-CITIZEN KANE Up for auction is a lovely vintage glass compote with silver overlay from the estate of film actress LOUISE CURRIE(1913-2013) I'll go into more detail about Ms. Currie after describing the item but among her credits is she was the last surviving actor from the cast of CITIZEN KANE until her death in 2013 at the age of 100. The compote is 5.5" in diameter and a bit over 3" tall. The silver overlay has some wear with some silver loss. The top and bottom rims are silver painted as well with some silver loss. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or breaks. I'm uncertain of the age but believe it to be many decades old. The second from last photo is the entire lot of items I purchased from the Louise Currie estate. It was a boxed ... morelot and this shows the entire contents of the lot. The last photo is the auction tag. Of course it's very hard to prove an item belonged to a famous person but you'll see I have a very long and good reputation with eBay. The auction tag is from the auction house A.N. ABELL AUCTION COMPANY in southern California. I actually won 2 lots of Ms. Currie's items. The week after the first auction this second lot had been put up for auction again and I won it. The tag has been changed with handwriting to reflect this second sale. With this tag number Abell's record keeping will show this lot came from the Louise Currie estate. LOUISE CURRIE was active in the film industry from 1940 to 1956. Offered for bid is a small glass compote that is trimmed and high lighted with sterling silver bands The piece is in very good condition with no damage or wear to speak of It is about 3 1/2" tall and has an upper rim diameter of about 4 1/4" It is marked sterling on the underside of the upper sterling trim There are no other makers marks That upper silver trim is decorated with a herringbone style pattern The sterling trim around the base of the piece is plain with no decoration The glass bowl has ten panels around the circumference of the bowl The glass is clear and scratch free A nice item for the table Thank you for looking and please bid with confidence.
