Capable of seating six people comfortably when it is fully opened. The mahogany leaves are single solid boards with reeding along the edges that mirrors the legs, each hanging on original hand forged iron hinges to easily swing up and down. A flamed mahogany veneer completes the apron of the table. The table has six legs, an expensive feature that was time consuming and reserved for a more affluent client. It allows the table to remain firmly rooted while the leaves are extended, truly making it a fully functional dining table. The legs swing over knuckle joints formed of solid oak. In unison with the exterior of the table frame, this surrounding what appears to be pine secondary wood making up the inside of the table frame. These thick secondary woods are remarkably strong and allow the leg to remain in nearly untouched condition after nearly 200 years. The table rests over turned double-rings over sharp reeding, to terminate again in double ringlets over tapered feet. This is a very attractive example for collectors of American forms. Crafted in a distinct manner to that of John Needles. Needles is well known as an artisan with significant output in the Baltimore. Maryland area during the height of the American Classical period. Labeled and documented works by the shop of John Needles are typically accompanied by unusually strong and nearly triangular reeding on legs or pillars, typically in tables though also found in large cabinets and sideboards. He was most active in the years of 1810-48, where the majority of his twenty-four surviving documented forms are crafted. After serving a five-year apprenticeship on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with James Neale of Easton. Needles migrated to Baltimore in 1808 and after a brief apprenticeship under Edward Priestl

Spool Jenny Lind Walnut Bed 3/4 & Marble Top Dresser/Mirror..Very Few This Nice!
N ot really sure when this was made.lady who owned it said she knew it was in the family in early 1920's.it is absolutely beautiful and in excellent condition.the only"call" on the whole suite is the top of the drawer on the dresser on the left side has got a hairline crack. Other than that I couldn't find anything else worthy of mentioning.the bed is very stout.rails fit perfectly.only one key but it locks every drawer but one.probably a little WD40 would correct that.marble is in excellent shape.quiet sure it is not the original mirror but it is a very nice mirror.the bed is a 3/4 size even though a regular full size mattress has been used on it for the last 40 years.it was just a little wide for the boxsprings but they managed.Going to include the 3/4 box springs as it is very heavy and well made.nothing at all wrong ... morewith it.it is full of coil springs and really a lot better than the box springs you find today.all you would really need is a 3/4 mattress unless you should decide to just put a full size on it like the previous owner did.anyway, that is about all I know to tell you even though I know I am leaving something out.Now the main thing I want to get across to you lookers is that I want to sell it.not going to put it on here at some silly price and hope you will make a high offer.I am going to list both pieces at what I have seen others ask for just one of these pieces alone.Can't ship, so should you decide to buy, please be aware that you have got to come to good old west Tennessee in Jackson.about half way between memphis and Nashville.It is in good hands and safe and sound until you come or send for it.Will be glad to offer loading help should one person come alone.Any questions call Dicky at 731-697-9043.God Bless America again.Please.

Antique Half Tester Bed Ornate Design Stunning! Twin
Stunning antique half tester bed. This bed is one beautiful piece of antique art! This bed has a low reserve for a bed bed with this amount of character! It has beautifully detailed hand carved accents throughout and is breathtaking to see. It measures approximately 83" long x 45" wide x 88" tall. Twin size bed. I acquired this bed from two gentlemen that purchased a storage unit in San Antonio that was full of antiques. So I do not have a history on the bed. I have seen no marking that I can make out to tell me anything further on the bed, either. The bed seems to be structurally in very good condition. The top of the canopy is leaning forward and need to have the arms of the inner post made larger for a tighter fit or shimmed a little to hold it more upright. I currently have a temporary shim and the top seems to have a slight ... moretwist from the top leaning forward, meaning one post seems to be leaning forward slightly more than the other. The bed has a couple of tiny chips, rubs and few scratches. The bed also will come with a set of mattress and box springs that are(new in plastic) they have been preowned and sanitized with new covers put on, they are tagged as such by federal standards and meet those standards with professional cleaning and inspection. This is a five-piece antique bedroom set; includes 3-drawer dresser with mirror. 5-drawer, chest of drawers, nightstand, head/footboard. This is from the 1930-40's, art deco era. This is a late 1800 side board made of tiger wood. I refinished it cause it had 3 layers of paint. I don't have time to finish the inside due to my work. All is solid tiger wood. Pick up only. 4 Piece Burl Walnut Victorian Bedroom Set , dated 1892
This is the best Victorian Bedroom Set we have owned. We found a label on back of the mirror dated 1892. On the back of the dresser is a label showing the manufacturer. It reads: Carrollton Furniture Mfg. Co, Carrollton, KY. It has been carefully restored and refinished back to pristine condition. The mirrors were quite streaked and hazy so we installed new beveled ones. The brass handles are original, they are very unusual! The set consists of a Wardrobe, Dresser, Full Size Bed, and Washstand. The Wardrobe measures 8 ft. 6" tall, 56" wide by 21" deep. It has original interior, including Hooks, the panels backing the mirror are made of Bird's Eye Maple. We have installed new locks with keys. There two drawers at the bottom, it comes apart for easy moving. The Dresser measures 7 ft. 9" tall, 58" wide by 24" ... moredeep, it has the original Tennessee Red Marble in great condition. Note that there is not a handle on the center drawer, it has a key to unlock it.the other drawers do not have working locks. It has original rollers. The washstand measures 6 ft. 11" tall by 42" wide, 20" deep. it also has the original marble in great condition. no working locks on this piece. it is also on rollers. Vintage 4 pc bedroom set - very unique LOOK!
Up for auction: 1 vintage bedroom set which includes the following pieces: Night stand-Chest of drawers(5 drawers) Dresser w/ mirror(9 drawer) Full size bed(mattress and box springs included) NOTE: I am not sure of the exact age of this set. Nor am I an expert on assessing the style. If someone can help date it. Or further identify it, please send me a note! Otherwise, please review the pics and make your own judgment. This bedroom set was purchased new by my grandparent’s sometime post WWII. I am not a furniture expert. But have been advised this set may be late 40’s to early 50’s. There are no obvious manufacturer marks. I would rate the set conservatively as“good” over all. There are some dings/ scratches here and there, which I consider normal since the set has been moved 3 times in the last 15 years or so(not to mention the set is perhaps ... more50+ years old w/ original finish) Prior to that, it was in my grandparent’s house since purchased new(and in the same spot to boot) In my opinion, the set is perfectly suitable for use“as is” but please review the pictures closely and judge for yourself. I have not seen another set like it here on Ebay or anywhere else for that matter. I think this is a very very unique set and hope it will go to somebody that sees it as such. RARE 1910 Kimball & Chappell full SQUARE tubing solid brass bed
RARE: This square-tubed hollow solid brass bed is a rare find on eBay or anywhere on Google- search and see! I only found 2 others anywhere online and they both went for considerably more than mine. Condition: there's some blue corrosion here and there which easily wipes off. There's also 2 iron rails that attach with a circular puzzle shape. So no tools are needed to assemble. The iron rails were once painted gold, but that part is scratched off in some places. All parts are original. None have been replaced. One wheel is missing the 1/4 inch piece that goes around it. But the top, curved part is still there and so is the bottom flat piece. The rest of the wheels look like the one photographed. And they all roll and turn easily. Look at the 1909-1911 ad copies I uploaded to see some advertising from Kimball& Chappell of Chicago. ... moreIL. These ads are copies from online and are not for sale. According to these Kimball& Chappell ads. Their beds are"solid brass, which you'll know is true if you"tap one of our beds with a pencil and it has the true ring like a bed- but tap an imitation and it gives forth a dull cracked sound. Antique Full Size Iron Bed by Art Bed Company of Chicago
Rare antique full size white iron bed with headboard and footboard in excellent condition for $200. This is a beautiful and very sturdy bed. The reason I say rare is that it was made by the Art Bed Company of Chicago sometime before 1920(this is when they quit making beds) and you rarely see these. I am including pictures of the company name on the bed. The woman I bought it from painted it white; it could use another coat. It could be left alone to look slightly shabby or would look awesome painted any other color. These beds were made with floral appliqués on the flat piece on the headboard, and the woman I bought it from said she had painted over tulip appliqués-too bad. Dimensions are 53.75 inches wide; 76 inches long inside the frame where the mattress would sit. But 79 inches long outside the frame; headboard height is 55.5 ... moreinches and the footboard height is 37.5 inches. I put local pick up only on my ad. Antique full size Quarter Sawn Oak bed 1900 vintage
This item is in good condition and the unit was partially restored a few years ago. The area below the bed springs was not restored at the same time and is of older and darker stain. The back side of the head board and foot board are non-restored. You can see this in the photos. However. The non-restored area of the front of the headboard will never be seen once the bed springs and a mattress are assembled. The bottom of the springs sit 10" off the ground. The width of the bed is 56 3/4 inches wide; length of bed is 80' long. The headboard is 73" tall and the foot board is 36" tall. The wood is beautiful quarter sawn Oak. The beauty of this bed lies in the detailed design and craftsmanship to the crest of the headboard and all 4 posts. There is beautiful scroll carving on each bedpost and the crest of the headboard. The ... morespring set appears to be original and in good solid condition. The side boards that hold the mattress are not original and appear to be replacements made of pine, but are intact and sturdy with hardware included. Same goes for 4 wood slats that assist in supporting the bed springs. Included are head board, foot board, side boards, box springs and hardware and 4 wood board slats. Mattress is not included. The bed was manufactured in Altamont. IL according to the paper manufacturer label on back of head board. The label is only a partial label and manufacturer name is illegible.You can pick this bed up in Broadlands, Illlinois, or you can arrange to have a freight company of your choice ship the bed to you. I do not know the exact weight of the bed. Bed must be accepted in"as is" condition. It is a very nice antique piece, and I would love to keep it, but my upstairs bedrooms have dormers and headboard is too tall for the area I would place the bed!

Mid Century Modern Heywood Wakefield Full Bed including side boards
1950's Heywood Wakefield Double Bed Frame This Mid-Century Modern full size bed from iconic furniture maker Heywood Wakefield has clean. Rounded lines. No corners to take out a shin. Each piece measures 57 1/2" wide. The headboard stands 35" tall and the footboard stands 23 1/2" tall. The finish is classic Heywood Wakefield I just don't know if it is Champagne or Wheat; but it is a lovely light blondish color. The set is complete with both headboard. Footboard and the connecting rails. It is not stamped but it is from the 1950's as it was bought for my as a teen and which make the frame at least 60 years old. This frame is in good condition structurally but the wood does show wear as a result of age and use. The caveat to this is that it had been living with kittens. Here is an absolutely fabulous find in wonderful condition. And carefully adapted for use as a queen size bed. a 1922 production quartersawn oak barley twist bed headboard and footboard and matching mirrored dresser. The dresser has a lovely beveled mirror, original teardrop hardware and casters, dovetailed drawer construction and the same beautifully turned barley twist columns as the carved headboard and footboard. Both piece are tagged with the brass C.W. S. Pelaw on Tyne tags of the English Co-Operative Wholesale Society and pencil dated within their stamped 4/8/1922. I've included a number of photographs from all sides and tried to highlight the features outlined here including the tags and stamp marks. This dresser stands 62 1/2 inches tall by 35 1/2 inches wide by 18 inches. Front to back. The lovely beveled mirror is in very nice ... morecondition and is 23 1/2 inches wide by 18 inches tall. The shelf 6 3/4 inches above the top surface across the back has two small drawers, 6 3/4 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches front to back by 2 1/4 inches deep. The three dresser drawers are 29 inches wide by 14 3/4 inches front to back by 5 1/4. 6 1/4 and 7 1/4 inches deep, in descending order, respectively. The beautiful carved barley twist head board and footboard are in lovely condition and have been adapted from their original full size to fittings for rails to make it queen size as is currently generally preferred. There is 54 inches between the original posts(full size width) but the modern adaptation involves attached boards 62 inches in width.
